Story
Rollie was surrendered after his owner died. He had never lived inside until he came into rescue. He is now house and crate trained. He does love to run and play and hide his bones outside. He had very little socialization with other dogs and is a little dog selective (prefers females more than males). He's more of a loner than most. He has always been crated inside to avoid the mischief a beagle tends to get into with chewing items he isn't supposed to be chewing. It is more for his safety of not swallowing anything harmful. He will bark to let you know when he needs to go potty. He has been completely vetted. He deserves a home of his own to retire in and enjoy the rest of his life. He is fostered in East TN, but transportation is included in the adoption fee and provided by Rescue Riders LLC. Please let me know if you have any questions. Please email us for the link to the adoption application.

Story
Meet Zoe Zoe is a 6-year-old girl (born December 6, 2019) weighing about 40 pounds, with a heart full of love and a deep loyalty to her people. Her Wisdom Panel DNA shows a unique and beautiful mix of Beagle,Terrier, Chow Chow, and  Akita—giving her a blend of intelligence, sensitivity, and devotion. Zoe is fully house-trained and crate-trained, walks beautifully on leash, and knows commands like “with me” and “off.” She does not chew on things that aren’t hers and thrives in a structured environment. She has worked with multiple trainers, including e-collar training, and responds very well to clear guidance and consistency.Zoe is an incredibly loving dog who forms strong, meaningful bonds with her people and truly wants to be by your side. She enjoys companionship, routine, and feeling secure in her environment. That said, Zoe does need a specific type of home to help her be her best self. She is not well-suited for homes with young children, as she can become uncomfortable with unpredictable environments and would do best in a calmer, more structured setting. She may thrive best as the only dog. While she walks well with other dogs, her comfort level indoors depends on proper boundaries and introductions. She has done well with cats.Zoe may be cautious when strangers enter the home, especially if things feel uncertain, but with proper introductions and confident handling, she settles in well. Her ideal home would be with experienced dog owners who can provide structure and leadership, and will continue to support her training. She would love a home with a moderately active lifestyle and space to relax and feel secure. Zoe is not a beginner dog, but for the right person, she is an incredibly rewarding companion—loyal, smart, and full of love, ready to give her whole heart to someone who understands her Bcaaofnj.orgInterested in adopting this pet?Click here for BCAA's on-line Application!
