Local surrender Cheesa (female) and Keeba (male) are a bonded pair of 12 year old Beagle Corgi mixes. They are housebroken, crate trained, and well mannered in the home. They enjoy short spurts of zoomies and then back to relaxing on the couch. They love squeaky toys. They are sweet. Walk well on leash. They must be adopted together / remain together. They are both altered / fixed. Weigh about 25 lbs each. Their original owner passed. They are currently in the care of a temporary foster and we are now accepting applications. PA Kennel License #5254Wags RescueSouthampton Pa 18966 Local Surrender Meet Rocky Wags Rocky is a 6 year old beagle. He is 42 lbs. He is male / neutered. He is up to date on vaccines and HW negative. He is tricolor with some speckles on his legs. Rocky is friendly and social. He is good with other dogs, large and small. Rocky is currently living w several dogs in foster care. Rocky has not been cat tested but we are not sure that recommending cats is a good idea. Rocky has shown prey interest in wild rabbits, birds, and deer. he goes crazy when he picks up on their scent or sees them. Rocky does not currently live w kids but he has been fine w them when he has met them in public and he has done sleepovers where children were present and he was fine w them . Rocky likes people and likes to be included. Rocky walks decent on leash but he is 42 lbs and has some strength to him when he does pull towards something he is interested in. Rocky is working on crate training and housebreaking and is making great progress as long as things are consistent for him. Rocky would do best in a home with a fenced in and secure yard. He would do best where someone is home a lot and can let him out frequently for him to maintain his housebreaking schedule. Rocky would prefer to be in a home with another dog for comfort and security but could also be successful in a home where there was a person who was home a lot and they could provide that companionship instead. Rocky is ok for a Senior Person as long as they can handle his strength. Rocky can manage stairs. However Rocky is not well suited for an apartment lifestyle due to his barking when left alone. Rocky does not bark during the day when someone is home with him. Rockys main barking comes from times when he is left alone / left home alone and he feels anxious about being separated. Rocky sleeps in the crate at night and does not bark as long as he knows someone is near him (He is currently sleeping in a crate in the fosters bedroom so he can see her). Rocky will sleep thru the night without issue. Rocky attends most events and the foster is willing to answer questions about Rocky and what he needs.
