Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Online Adoption Application › I was surrendered to the shelter by my owner - but now I feel like I'm in Beverly Hills!!!I'm an older girl - I LOVE naps & I LOVE to be outside!I move a little slower due to my arthritis, but dont let that fool you! I get so excited exploring outside, it sparks me with joy and I get a little 'pep in my step'.You would need to have a securely fenced in yard for me to be my happiest! Just because I'm older does not mean I am senile - I will find a way to escape for more exploring if I can! I do okay with other dogs as long as they dont hassle me. I do like to play, but not all the time and I get grumpy when my nap time/space isnt respected. I would do best with a medium/small size dog that is calm or older. I'm not sure how I would do with small children - I don't mind being picked up or cuddled - but I can startle easily and a lot of commotion might be too much for me.I'm a super sweet girl who will follow you from room to room - it makes me so happy to know I will never be dumped at a shelter again. You will see me smile all the time! I am also doing good with my crate training, nail trims, and grooming. I would love to find the Pawfect Match to spend the rest of my days with, I'm a very easy going girl who is much overdue for the good life!!Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.October 2, 2023, 1:46 pm

You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Online Adoption Application › We seven came to Pawfect Match after being contacted by thei owner.  Pawfect helped get our mama vetted and fixed and promised the little girl where we lived that we would find awesome homes.  Our mama is a aussie beagle and our daddy if probably a pittie mix.  We are sheer love and adventure.  We love running around the yard, leaping blades of grass and catching all the sticks.  We love to cuddle and play with other doggies.  We can leave when we are 8 weeks old.  All of us are the best and sweetest little babies.Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.October 2, 2023, 1:46 pm

Story
Milo is a 5-6 year old beagle mix which I adopted in November of 2022. He is a loving and happy pup who needs a TEMPORARY home! I am a full time college student and I am finding my schedule and financial constraints have put a strain on being able to provide for Milo. I love this dog so much and hope to care for him again once I graduate in December of 2024. Until then he needs a patient and loving owner to be his new best friend.

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Peanut is a laid-back sweet hound that is approximately 6 years old and full grown at 33 pounds.  She came to us as a stray from an overcrowded shelter and BFPA was happy to help her on her journey to her forever home.  Peanut enjoys lounging and her favorite spot is on her blanket on the couch.  She is a great TV buddy and enjoys belly rubs. Peanut is too interested in cats, so her ideal home has no kitties Even though Peanut is an extremely gentle and and easy dog to care for, we prefer someone with an understanding of resource-guarding behavior as she likes to guard her toys and treats. For this reason, only, we believe she will be better in a home without young children.  Peanut knows how to use a dog door and will let herself out for potty breaks.   She is crate/house trained and enjoys walks on a leash.  She does get along with other dogs but may take time to warm up to them depending on their personality.  She will play with friendly dogs.  She is a quiet dog and only barks when she sees a stranger or a kitty.  She is heartworm positive but BFPA is currently treating her for this temporary condition.  Won't you consider making Peanut a part of your family?     Some of the information contained in this biography includes approximations based on our expertise and is not guaranteed.    Applicants must live no further than one hour from Cary NC as our dogs must be seen by a BFPA veterinarian for all medical care prior to adoptions being finalized.  Our foster guardians deliver dogs to their new homes for adoption trials and we do home visits to finalize all adoptions.  We therefore require applicants to live within an hours drive of Cary NC.   INTERESTED IN ADOPTING PEANUT?
