Story
I adopted Lena at 7 months old from my local SPCA. She almost 2 now and has been the bestest furry friend I’ve ever had, however I am unable to care for her like I used to. I’m looking for a home where she’ll be able to run free with plenty of space and lots of love to give! Lena is a smart, silly, loving and happy-go-lucky pup who loves to frolic around and strut her stuff.

Betsy is a 1.5-year-old, 44 lb, Beagle Mix. Betsy is a show stopper with the most gorgeous brown eyes that will melt any heart! She is super smart and already knows a lot of commands. She is fully house trained and will even ring a bell by the door to let you know that she needs to go outside. She is fully crate trained and loves going for walks in her neighborhood on a leash. Betsy is a total sweetheart too! She may be a little shy around new people at first, but will warm up quickly and absolutely loves being around her fur friends! When she goes to daycare, she is always super happy to meet every dog and play with all of them! She loves being outside has the best time chasing a ball and loves to chew on her bones, so she really hopes her new family has plenty of them for her when she comes home!  If you need a walking or hiking buddy, Betsy is the girl for the job! Story
Meet Douglas, a charming and affectionate Beagle mix who’s got got it all: brains and a great personality Douglas is a little "chunkier" than his siblings, but that just adds to how adorable he is. He is always looking to his people for direction and a little extra attention. His intelligent and happy nature makes him an eager learner, and he’s already mastered crate training with ease. We’re currently working on a few basic commands and house training, and he’s making great progress! Douglas is a smart puppy who knows when it's time to wind down—he’ll happily head straight to his crate when he’s had enough playtime for the day. Like most puppies, he’s full of energy, but after a good round of fun, he’s calm and content, settling down quietly for the night. This playful, attentive pup is ready to be the perfect companion for a family who’s willing to invest the time and patience needed to help him grow into a well-behaved, happy adult dog. With the right guidance and plenty of love, Douglas will thrive and make a wonderful addition to any home!

Story
Meet Angus, a bright, energetic Beagle mix with a nose for adventure! Angus is as intelligent as he is charming, and he's a curious soul always on the lookout for his next sniffing expedition. He’s already aced crate training and is making great progress on basic commands and house training. Angus thrives in an environment where he gets plenty of playtime and mental stimulation, and once he’s had enough fun, he’s calm and quiet at night. Angus is a climber at heart, and his favorite perch is the back of a chair, where he surveys the world around and take everything in (like we said, he's curious). He’s full of energy and needs a home that is ready to invest time and effort into teaching him the ropes of being an awesome adult dog as he grows up. If you're looking for an active, bright, and joyful puppy to join your family, Angus just might be the perfect match!

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Please be sure to read Mae's bio before applying for her.Mae's life began in an unsupportive and neglectful home.  She was confiscated from her original home and brought into a county shelter.  One animal on the property had been tethered and found starved to death, and Mae was one of several other dogs that were impounded.  She was so emaciated that she wasn't far from death herself.  Mae has learned many new things in a loving and supportive foster home, and her foster family has learned a lot about her- and where she would be most comfortable.    Mae would do best in a home with another dog, she loves to wrestle and play.  Another dog her size or larger would do best, since she can be an exuberant play companion.  She completely ignores cats, so having kitties in the home would be ok too.  She definitely requires a secured fenced in yard (no underground fences please) and a home that has the capability to utilize gates to keep her safe until she has had the chance to become acclimated to her new environment.  She can be a bit nervous with new people, but she warms up fast.  She would do best in a home where all children are 12 and over, since she has had limited exposure to children.  Mae still carries memories of her past, and the one detail she is sure of is that her previous tormentor was a bald man- she is terrified of bald men,  men with hair do not seem to be an issue.  She requires an experienced family that will give her the time she needs to get comfortable and blossom into an excellent companion.    Mae is leash trained, house trained (though rainy days can be challenging), crate trained, and she rides well in a car.  She has been spayed, microchipped, and is up to date on vaccines.Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.November 3, 2024, 10:18 am
