Story
Abby is a five year old beagle mix mom who came to Paws and Prayers in the family way. After birthing and weaning 10 puppies, she has been spayed, microchip, given all her shots for this year, wormed and potty trained. She is a sweetheart. She does bark at new people but give her a treat and she is your friend for life. She weighs 35 pounds and loves to cuddle.  To adopt this sweet girl, please do our non-obligatory application at www.pawsandprayers.org. She will definitely make your life exciting. Her adoption donation is $250. Any questions, email marty@pawsandprayers.org.June 1, 2023, 8:22 am

Story
The pup pictured is one of the “A List Litter”. Beagle mom is Abby, but we don’t know who dad is. We have sent away for a DNA test and will post results as soon as we get them. The pups were born February 24, 2023 to a very good mom.  Girls (6) are: Amber, Amy, Anna, Ashley, Aubree and Ava. Boys (4) are: Adam, Alex, Andy, and Asher. They are all adorable. The name of the puppy is posted on the picture. These guys are playful, sweet and cuddle. Pups will be spayed and neutered and given their one year rabies on June 1, 2023 so can be adopted the weekend of June 2, 2023. They have all their distemper/parvo shots, Bordetella, been wormed and microchipped. Adoption donation is $350. To adopt one of these wonderful puppies, please do our non-obligatory application at www.pawsandprayers.org. Any questions, email marty@pawsandprayers.org . Thinking about a new puppy….. things to keep in mind: Puppy will need time, training, love and connection, mixed in with a load of attention. Best if children are school age or older; we will consider younger children only on exception basis. Puppies have small bladders and need to have someone to let them out regularly for potty breaks…..work from home, work part-time, come home at lunch…..need a plan as they will need you every 4 to 5 hours until they are at least 6 to 8 months old. Will your current pet be willing to accept a new puppy. Puppies can be a handful. Will you be traveling extensively for the next couple of months? Puppy proofing your home is like baby proofing you home; it requires effort. Puppies can go to their new homes from 8 weeks, but holding on a little longer and letting them go around 12 weeks can be really beneficial, as their development and socializing will be a lot more established by that point. Those few extra weeks can make a big difference in how they act in their new home….. more social, less nippy. DNA is in: THE RESULTS: 22.9% Great Pyrenees 20.4% Beagle 15.6% Terrier 10.9% Boxer 8.2% German Shepherd Dog 22.0% Super-mutt* *(Chow Chow, Australian Shepherd, Labrador Retriever, and Collie).June 1, 2023, 8:22 am
