ABOUT ME: Looking for a sweet treat for your home? I'm S'mores the sweetest girl around! I can be shy at first but give me a week or two and we will be cozied up like two marshmallows on a graham cracker! FOSTER TYPE: Healing and ComfortFOSTER REASON: I am being treated for heartworms, so I will need a calm home to relax in due to being under exercise restriction while undergoing treatment. This means I will need to be a couch potato and go for leash walks only! COURTESY POST: Luka is a Beagle mix who is around 1 year old, and weighs 29 lb. He is current on vaccines and has been neutered. Luka was found on a country road and is now looking for a new home. He is very playful and is good with cats and dogs, but he needs to be fed separately. Luka loves people but will cower and back up if you raise your hand. Because he was a stray, we have no idea what his history is or how he was treated. He loves to put his head on his owner's knee and will give high fives. He doesn't like to be picked up; but will jump in your lap, He also doesn't like car rides, but doesn't get car sick. He is learning to walk on a leash. We are a RESCUE GROUP, not a shelter, and all of our animals are in foster homes. To start the adoption process, email us at adoptions@earstexas.org requesting an application. Your current or past dogs must be inside dogs who have been spayed/neutered and are on heartworm prevention. Gigi is a mix of all things cute! She's a petite girl at 35 lbs and about 1 year old. She loves, loves, loves children and would adore a home with a family. She's great with other dogs and loves to play. She is sweet, wanting to hang out with you and snuggle whenever she gets the chance. She's a gem of a dog! She is housebroken and is not destructive. She does pretty well on a leash but would love more walks to get to practice. Because she loves to play we do not recommend her for homes with children under 5 years of age though she tries to be gentle and just wants love. Lucy is a loving sweet dog. She has lived with my family of 4 and 2 cats for 3 years. She gets along with the cats but tries to play with them at times which the cats don't appreciate. She loves walks but just short ones. She is a very lazy dog that spends most of the day curled up on the couch. She is crate trained for when we leave the house but sleeps in our bedroom. She gets along well with other dogs. Lucy does have a tumor on her side on top of her ribs. It does not cause her any pain but is something that needs to be removed. I have health issues and am not able to work anymore. We just can't afford the surgery. I am unable to take her for walks or keep up with her needing to go out. She is house trained for the most part, as long as you put her up when you leave. Please consider giving this sweet bundle of love a new home where she will be taken care of like she deserves.

Fred has been housebroken & create trained, he has learned the commands sit & stay. He is comfortable with a collar, he has 2, one for day to day use and a second training collar for leash training, (working on the leash training now, it's not going well, he's scared, but he will get over that with time), he is comfortable wearing both. Fred is very energetic and loves to explore, dig, chew, and eat. He has his own cage, blanket, toys, collars, leash, food bowl, (one that makes him slow down when eating). Fred is good with dogs that are bigger then him, smaller dogs he's not so good with. He loves kids. Fred is looking for a loving family with medium to high energy. Fred does sleep through the night. He has no known food allergies, he hasn't met a food he don't like yet.
