Lucy is a loving sweet dog. She has lived with my family of 4 and 2 cats for 3 years. She gets along with the cats but tries to play with them at times which the cats don't appreciate. She loves walks but just short ones. She is a very lazy dog that spends most of the day curled up on the couch. She is crate trained for when we leave the house but sleeps in our bedroom. She gets along well with other dogs. Lucy does have a tumor on her side on top of her ribs. It does not cause her any pain but is something that needs to be removed. I have health issues and am not able to work anymore. We just can't afford the surgery. I am unable to take her for walks or keep up with her needing to go out. She is house trained for the most part, as long as you put her up when you leave. Please consider giving this sweet bundle of love a new home where she will be taken care of like she deserves.

COURTESY POST: Luka is a Beagle mix who is around 1 year old, and weighs 29 lb. He is current on vaccines and has been neutered. Luka was found on a country road and is now looking for a new home. He is very playful and is good with cats and dogs, but he needs to be fed separately. Luka loves people but will cower and back up if you raise your hand. Because he was a stray, we have no idea what his history is or how he was treated. He loves to put his head on his owner's knee and will give high fives. He doesn't like to be picked up; but will jump in your lap, He also doesn't like car rides, but doesn't get car sick. He is learning to walk on a leash. We are a RESCUE GROUP, not a shelter, and all of our animals are in foster homes. To start the adoption process, email us at adoptions@earstexas.org requesting an application. Submitting an application does not commit you in any way, but helps us make the best match between people and our available dogs. Your current or past dogs must be inside dogs who have been spayed/neutered and are on heartworm prevention. All of the dogs in our program are inside dogs and are completely vetted including all vaccinations, spayed/neutered, free of internal parasites, microchipped, heartworm negative and on prevention before adoption. Our adoption process includes an application, check of vet records or personal references, interview, neutral site meet & greet with the dog and your family, and a home visit.
