"Getting into Trouble Has Never Been So Much Fun!" Meet Trouble: Big Paws, Gentle Heart, Pure Joy If the classic board game taught us anything, it’s that getting into Trouble really is the most fun you can have, and this handsome pup proves it every single day! Part of the spirited "game-themed" litter born in rescue on June 3 to mamma Liliana, Trouble was the big, clever boy who figured out doggy doors almost before he could run. Now around 14 weeks old and tipping the scales at a sturdy 22 pounds, he is growing into a handsome hound with adorable, oversized paws that make him trot around like a tiny Clydesdale. He is goofy, deeply loyal, and has already mastered the art of sleeping completely belly-up without a care in the world. Trouble is sharp as a tack and eager to please. Like any curious, growing puppy, he loves having things to gnaw on, but he is remarkably polite about sticking to his own chew toys, especially if a tasty treat is involved! He is making stellar progress with house-training when kept on a consistent routine, and he settles down nicely in his crate after just a brief initial whimper. While he is still figuring out leash walking and approaches it with cautious hesitation, he already shows fantastic natural recall off-leash in safe spaces like the dog park. Plus, unlike the stereotypical noisy hound, Trouble saves his voice strictly for playtime; the rest of the time, he is a wonderfully quiet, easygoing companion. True to his friendly hound nature, Trouble gets along famously with other dogs and follows the lead of his foster brothers with joyful enthusiasm. While he might take a couple of seconds to observe new human friends, he warms up into a wiggly cuddlebug almost instantly and has done wonderfully with children of all ages. He hasn't met a cat yet, but his gentle, playful demeanor suggests he’d likely just want to make another friend. More than anything, Trouble is the kind of boy who will curl right into your lap after a fun play session and look up at you with utter devotion. Trouble’s Wish List -A family committed to continuing his puppy house-training with a steady daily schedule and patient leash practice. -An active to moderately active home with plenty of love, chew toys, and attention to shower on him. -A secure fenced yard is strongly encouraged so those big paws can romp safely, or a family dedicated to leashed outings. -A welcoming environment with kids of any age, and ideally another playful dog buddy to show him the ropes (though he’d thrive with dedicated humans, too). -An adopter ready to embrace a sweet, gentle pup whose biggest "trouble" is figuring out how to fit his giant paws into your lap for morning cuddles.

Monopoly is part of our Games Puppies litter born June 3, 2026. Mom was a beagle mix and dad, based on the puppies DNA was a true mutt. DNA of one of the pups in the litter: 52% Beagle, 11% American Foxhound, 9% American Pit Bull Terrier, 5% Shih Tzu, 4% German Shepard, 3% Bassett Hound and 3% American Cocker Spaniel, and a bunch of other breeds adding up to the remaining 13%. Monopoly has been a joy to have around the house. Best part is she has really taken to our 4-year-old beagle and our two kids. She LOVES (and loves hard) her people and friends. She is friendly to everyone she meets and is especially eager to meet kids, though not so excited that she's "too much" even for a little one (we've had kids as young as 2 meet her and she does very well). She watches the kids get on the bus many a morning wondering why she doesn't get to go to school with them. Her great love for "her people" might be her only fault - nights spent in her crate are the worst part of her day. She cries at night when it's time for bed but only because (at least for now) she sleeps in a crate. In my honest opinion, she has a calm demeanor (with a puppy caveat) and hardly ever barks. Seriously, the only time we hear her voice is when she's in her crate at night before she falls asleep. Her foster brother is also not very vocal, so maybe she is learning a thing or two. I think this litter of puppies may have come pre-programmed with the 'sit' command b/c she's already a straight A student at that. We're working on some other commands and she responds very well to treat motivation. Potty training is going well but isn't complete. She's beginning to show that she understands basic terms like "outside" and when we get there "go potty". That girl is on a mission when she goes out on a leash and does her business fast. She is an absolute snuggle bug/Velcro beagle. When she naps in my office during the day, even though there is a dog bed right under my desk, she always slides a bit of herself off the bed and has to be touching me in some way. We don't have a cat, so her behavior is unknown on that front. Oh, and I really think she might be a "fetcher". We are working with her on consistency and 'drop' commands. But my dog, when I was growing up, was a fetcher, and she is certainly showing the signs.
