Story
Rose and Remi are sisters. Our house has grown and we no longer have space or time to properly care for them as they are active dogs who need lots of space. They’re usually good with other animals but recently have started competing for attention with one another which can turn into fighting. They need to be adopted separately or by some one who has lots of room for them both and is experienced in dog training. They’re both crate trained, they’re both updated on their shots and only Remi is spayed, Rosa is not. They love car rides and walks, their loving animals. They love snacks and running outside. They need someone experienced with dogs and who is patient. We would prefer someone wanting to adopt them who do not already have pets as these dogs require lots of attention and affection. Their beautiful and loving and deserve a furever home.

Liberty and Honor were born at the rescue on 5/22/25 to momma Daisy, who was pulled from the Fresno shelter pregnant. Honor is timid at first but quickly becomes your best buddy. He like to be where the people are and will get anxious and vocal when alone. He is good with other dogs but would do fine being an only dog. He is a cuddle bug with adults but has been afraid of children. Not sure how he does with cats. He needs all the things puppies need; potty training, leash walking and further socialization! To request an adoption application, email smidgetrescue@hotmail.com Adoption contract and fee applies. All adoptable dogs can be met at adoption events hosted every weekend. All dogs are fostered throughout the Puget Sound area and are brought to the events where they can be met by prospective adopters. Bastion is a sweet, affectionate boy with lots of energy. He does well with cats and gets along great with our 13-year-old female dog. He can be a little skittish around unfamiliar dogs at first, but with patience and proper introductions, he settles in well.Bastion loves to play fetch, run around the yard, chew on bones, and go for walks. He walks well on a leash for the most part, though I use a harness to help with pulling because he gets excited and is always eager to explore.He is an indoor dog and enjoys spending time with his family, but he would thrive in a home with a good-sized, securely fenced yard where he can run, play, and burn off his energy. Bastion would make a wonderful companion for someone who can match his playful spirit and give him the love and exercise he enjoys.
