Story
Gemma is a very sweet and loving dog, she's still young (2 years). She has the typical Beagle and Dachshund behaviors and she gets bored so she needs an experienced adopter especially one familiar with small hunting breeds. She does not do well in the kennel and needs someone to be home during the day or a home without cats where she can be out while she's alone. We did a trial run with one family who had cats and they didn't keep her in the kennel while they were gone and had no issues, however her cats were stressed out so they weren't able to keep her, that's the reason why we're rehoming her, she needs a home without cats and we have a few. If you have any questions let me know!

Story
Meet active and affectionate, 9-year-old Casey. Casey urgently needs to find a new home due to one-year-old twins in his current household. Casey’s current owners are overwhelmed with twin babies and Casey is looking for new people who have time and energy for him. Casey is a great size at only 35lbs and loves walks and hikes. He enjoys road trips, running errands and hanging out with his people. He’s been very good with kids over toddler age but does get nervous around the babies. A home with older kids is fine for him or a no kid household too. Casey is crate-trained and house-trained and not a chewer. He can be trusted out of his crate and quiet in the house- though he will make his presence known if someone comes to the door. Case is great on a leash and knows his basic commands. He loves people, loves to give kisses and is very approachable and loving! Casey loves multiple walks a day but is also content soaking up the sun on the front porch. He has not been around cats much so we’re not encouraging kitties. He listens and takes correction well and is food motivated so training is a breeze. We would like an adopter who is dog-experienced as we obviously want this to be Casey’s forever home. Ideally his new adopter is someone who likes having a companion with them many places they go and someone who's wants an exercise buddy and companion. He has not had a lot of dog socialization throughout his life. He has a few doggie friends that he is around a lot fine when we walk him with others. He prefers dogs that are chill and just want to hang out and do their own thing and we will continue to work on his socialization. Ideally, he’d be ok with a no dog household too. Casey is neutered, vaccinated and micro-chipped. His is currently in the Tacoma area and available to meet. Casey’s current owners love him and want him to have a better life than being crated and away from wild toddler twins. “He's a great boy who still has the energy of a youngster. He will be an amazing companion to someone who's somewhat active and who likes spending time with their dog while they're out doing things. Casey loves going to department stores, breweries, parks - you name it - and he really does love being with people. He especially loves hanging out on the porch or deck, soaking up the sun. He doesn’t mind the weather and minds you well. Yes, he might bark, but that bark alerted us to a home intruder years ago and we likely owe him our lives for that. He's a good boy and he deserves a good home.” For more information, contact Pam at raincityrescue@gmail.com or to complete an application, go to: https://www.emailmeform.com/builder/form/N1V88edh02ForIB30gCf2. Casey is in the Tacoma area and ready to meet you now!

Story
My name is Bingo! Although I'm named after Paw Patrol you sure win with me, BINGO! I was the shyest of my litter, but have blossomed and my confidence has really come out. I get wiggle tail when foster human siblings call me and I come running. I'm a bit of foodie and love treats and playing with dogs. My leash skills are pretty good for a puppy and I'm house trained! I love other dogs and playing with toys and friends! If you are interested in my please complete the application. I am located in San Antonio, TX, but my adoption fee includes transport. I come fully vetted to age, fixed, microchipped and will get a health certificate before I travel if adopted out of state

Story
Oliver is a sweet 7 months old beagle mix who was rescued from an abandoned building of Houston. Oliver is a very adorable and loving puppy, who sleeps from 9 pm to 6 am without a peep. He is used to being by himself as his foster parents work. He lives with two doggie brothers but has not been tested with kitties. He is still a puppy, so he has some puppy energy and is playful. He is also trainable as he is very intelligent. A home with a fully fenced yard would be mandatory for her, as well as a family who can dedicate time, patience and love. Oliver is currently about 23 lb and fully vaccinated, neutered, and microchipped. He is heartworm negative and kept on heartworm and flea preventative. Watch his video here : https://vimeo.com/1026007976?share=copy#t=0 Sweet Ollie is being fostered in Texas, but can travel to any state, and even Canada for the right home. To meet this gorgeous pup via facetime or whatsapp or other video chat apps, please send a completed application via www.savesomesouls.com Yards MUST BE adequately and fully fenced to adopt our pups. We do not accept electric or underground fences.

Senior for a Senior that loves walks! Please contact us to submit an application directly at Kzyrnr17@yahoo.com or info@dogdiggityrescue.com Jelly Bean is a 7 yr old 9 mos and 32 lb Retriever/Beagle mix.  Her mom that had her for 6 years had to leave her behind as she had to go to an assisted living facility in Apr 2023.  Jelly Bean is getting depressed. She has gone to every adoption event on Saturdays and has been overlooked because she is a senior dog.  She loves walks, car rides, bones and destroying stuffed dog toys.  She is house and crate trained. She does require a securely fenced yard since she is part Beagle follows her nose.  Since she lived with her mom for 6 years as an only pet, she prefers to be the only pet (no dogs or cats).  She unconditionally loves her humans and loves her daily walks.  Please adopt this senior active gem.  Pssst a nice person has paid most of her adoption fee.   Courtesay post for Helotes Humane Society. L & S Dog Diggity Rescue is headquartered in San Antonio, Texas, where there are over 800,000 homeless pets. We save homeless and abandoned dogs and find them loving forever homes in other areas, where pet homelessness is not epidemic. All of our pets are located here, in San Antonio, and we partner with rescues to provide transportation for our pets to their new homes. Our adoption fee includes vet care (vaccinations, spay/neuter, microchipping, etc), as well as transportation and health certificate. Please contact us to ask about our adoption process and our adoption fees.  November 5, 2024, 6:27 am

Story
Meet Megara! This 2-year-old, 17-pound beagle/whippet mix is as adorable as they come. Super happy and playful, Megara is a social butterfly who loves all people and dogs. She was found as a stray, but now she’s ready to settle into her forever home where she can share her joy and energy with a loving family. If you’re looking for a sweet, playful companion who gets along with everyone, Megara is your girl!IMPORTANT: Please read all below, especially if you live outside of Texas, which is where our rescue is located.Apply to adopt on our website: https://www.charmingpetrescue.org/adoptAll of our animals are spayed/neutered, microchipped, and up to date on shots.ALL of our animals are located in Boerne, TX, but transport after adoption is available to other states for a $300 fee for dogs or an additional fee varying by location for cats. If you are seeing our pets posted in your state, that's because you live near a transport stop, they are not currently at that location. Petfinder lists our pets as 'Out of Town' pets at other locations, and Adopt-a-Pet lists our location as a Transport stop. Those are currently the only options they offer to make this clear, so we put this description we've put at the bottom to explain it. You can read more about transport here: www.charmingpetrescue.org/transportWe understand transport is not an option for everyone, but we offer it at the cost we pay the transport company for those who wish to adopt from us.November 7, 2024, 9:05 pm
