Belgian Malinois puppies and dogs in Warwick, New York

Meet Brownie! 👑🐾 Brownie is a 1½-year-old, 42-pound Shepherd mix who is sweet, energetic, affectionate, and absolutely convinced the world revolves around her! ❤️ And honestly… she may have a point. 😉 Brownie’s story began when someone found her as a puppy in South Texas in horrible condition. She was covered in fleas and ticks, frightened, and in desperate need of help. Thankfully, her finders took her in and gave her a chance. But as Brownie grew, so did her puppy energy. Her family realized they weren’t prepared for the energy and needs of a young dog and considered taking her to the pound. Rather than allow this sweet girl to face an uncertain future, they chose to surrender her to a wonderful sanctuary where she would be safe. Brownie has now been at the sanctuary for seven months, and sadly, no one has chosen her yet. And it’s absolutely no fault of her own. 💔 Brownie is a wonderful girl who is ready for a family that will appreciate her big personality, give her plenty of love, and keep her busy with all the things she enjoys. 👑 Meet the Diva Brownie is sweet, energetic, affectionate, and definitely knows what she wants! She is a vocal girl and will happily let you know when something doesn’t meet her very high Queen Brownie standards. 😂 Does she like something? She’ll tell you. Does she NOT like something? Oh, you’ll definitely hear about that too! She has a wonderfully expressive personality and a funny little diva streak that will keep her family laughing. Brownie loves attention and firmly believes that she should be the center of yours. ❤️ 🐕 Dog Friendly Brownie loves other dogs and would be perfectly happy sharing her home with another canine companion. That said, she would also be completely fine as your one-and-only dog. As long as she has her people, plenty of attention, and opportunities to play, Brownie is happy. 👧 Great with Kids Brownie would do well with children and would love having kids around to play with and shower her with attention. 🐱 Cats Brownie has not yet been formally cat-tested, but given her sweet and social demeanor, we believe she may do well with cats. A proper introduction and supervision would, of course, be important. 🏡 Working on Her House Manners Brownie is crate-trained and is currently working on mastering her house training. She’s a smart young girl who just needs a family willing to continue helping her learn. With patience, consistency, and a regular routine, Brownie should continue making great progress. 🥾 An Active Girl Looking for an Active Family Brownie has energy to burn and would love a family who enjoys walks, adventures, playtime, and outdoor activities. She enjoys her walks and would do wonderfully with regular neighborhood walks. She also loves playing with toys and would be thrilled to have a family who wants to spend time playing with her. She even likes trying to catch birds! 🐦😂 Don't worry—we don't let her! Brownie would love a family that will keep her body active and her mind engaged while also giving her plenty of affection and attention. ❤️ Why Brownie? Because underneath that hilarious diva personality is a really sweet girl who just wants to be loved. Brownie has already been through so much. She started life scared, covered in fleas and ticks, and unsure of what the future held. She was given a second chance, but after seven months at the sanctuary, she's still waiting for someone to look past her big personality and realize what a wonderful companion she could be. She doesn't need to be perfect. She just needs someone who will love her for exactly who she is—the energetic, affectionate, vocal, playful, slightly demanding, absolutely adorable Queen Brownie. 👑❤️ Brownie is ready for a family who will take her on adventures, play with her toys, take her for walks, give her all the attention she believes she deserves, and most importantly, love her forever. If you're looking for a sweet, energetic Shepherd mix with a big personality and even bigger heart, Brownie may be your girl. 🐾❤️ Seven months is far too long to wait for a forever family. Brownie is ready to be someone's Queen. 👑 PLEASE READ ALL INFORMATION BELOW IF INTERESTED IN ADOPTING: The next step to adopt is to fill out an application on our website at: www.pawsitive-Impact-animal-rescue.org This doggy is spayed/neutered, heart worm negative, current on age-appropriate vaccinations, current on flea/tick and heart worm prevention, microchipped, current on de-wormer, and will receive a clean bill of health from a licensed veterinarian prior to transport. Mila is a beautiful, approximately 1-year-old Belgian Malinois mix with a big heart and an even bigger zest for life. This young girl is full of energy and enthusiasm, making her the perfect companion for an active person or family who enjoys adventures, exercise, and playtime. Mila found herself looking for a new home through no fault of her own. She was originally surrendered due to financial hardships, and while her current foster family loves her, they already have three dogs, a cat, and a baby on the way. Mila deserves a home where she can receive the time, attention, and training that a smart, active dog like her needs. She loves to play and would do great as either the only dog in the home or with another playful canine companion. Mila has been around children and has done well with them. However, due to her size and high energy level, we recommend a home with children age 10 and older. Mila is looking for a family committed to helping her reach her full potential through continued training, exercise, and lots of love. In return, she’ll be a loyal, fun-loving companion ready to join you on all of life’s adventures. Think Mila might be the perfect fit for your family? We'd love to introduce you. 🐾 Meet Hazel! 💕 Your Next Adventure Buddy! 🐾 Hazel is being fostered in Mississippi, but included in your adoption fee is transport to you by Rescue Riders Pet Transport which is the most animal friendly transport on the road! Hazel is a 5-year-old girl who is smart, athletic, affectionate, and FULL of personality! She’s the kind of dog who is always ready to go do something fun—and then happily settle in beside you when the day is done. ❤️. Hazel currently lives with another large dog and does okay, but we think she would do best as an only dog Hazel is looking for someone who will appreciate her fun-loving, energetic personality and give her opportunities to run, explore, play, ride along, and be part of the family. If you're the type of person who says, “Want to go for a hike?” instead of “Want to stay home?”—Hazel may be your girl! 🥾🐾❤️ Hazel can be very excited when her person comes home, but the good news is that she settles down quickly. Because of that enthusiasm, she may be a little too exuberant for very young or small children and could accidentally knock them over. Hazel is ready to find her forever adventure partner! 🏡💗 She is a very amazing dog, but cats and small animals are a big no for Hazel. 🏡 House-trained and trustworthy when left loose in the house 🛋️ Doesn’t tear things up when left alone during the day 🛏️ Would happily sleep with her person 🎾 LOVES playing with balls 🚗 LOVES going for rides 🥾 Would absolutely love a hike or outdoor adventure with an active person 🧠 Smart and eager to be involved 😍 Loves everyone—she definitely does NOT meet a stranger!
