Zara is a 2 year old Belgian Malinois Mix. We adopted her at 6 months from a shelter, the same day she came back from being fostered. She has lots of energy and loves attention. She has been around other dogs (that she loves to play with), she is great with cats because she use to live with one (she needs to be reminded to be gentle with cats), she absolutely loves kids (she will jump on them as well). She knows a couple of commands. She is not aggressive at all and she senses when you are upset/sad. Her favorite things to do are going on walks, going for a ride, chasing squirrels, and playing with toys that give her a challenge. She is afraid of thunderstorms. We just want her to have an amazing home with a family, or person, that has time for her!

Madeleine is a 3yr-old spayed female Belgium Shepherd/German Shepherd mix that weighs 73lbs. She came into the Mesquite Animal Shelter on 12/16 as a stray. When she got out into the yard, she got distracted with smelling and was more relaxed. She frequently looked out over the wall. She may have been looking for her owners. She is well mannered. There were several times when it looked like she was going to jump on me, but didn’t when I told her no. She didn`t show any interest in the other dogs barking at her, yet if there is another dog in the home, please ask the shelter for a dog test. She sits for treats, takes them gently, and walks ok on a leash. She has the right amount of energy to be playful,but not overbearing. She’s really sweet and wants to please. Due to her size she would need a yard, but she deserves to spend quality time in her new home with her family.

Meet Chevy! Chevy is the most handsome 8 year old pup you will ever lay your eyes on! And he’s got the brains and personality to match! Which to be honest doesn’t always happen haha. He was surrendered by his family to the shelter with his brother. His brother was adopted but Chevy found himself left behind and set to be euthanized for space. When we saw he only had a few hours left we busted him out and I’m so glad we did. Chevy is going to make a family so incredibly happy one day. He is truly a unicorn dog. Going through our temperament evaluation there’s typically a few little things that come up…. Not with Chevy though. Every test we through his way he passed with flying colors. Truthfully it’s almost been a bit boring but he is certainly 100% good boy certified! -Good With Other Dogs. Has an “all out” play style. -Very Sweet and submissive with people. -House/Crate Trained -Leash/Obedience Work We Are Currently Working On. Definitely Had No Work Prior. -Demands belly rubs and he’s cute enough to where you will cave in and give them. -Lower drive GS -High Energy and social would be a great adventure buddy We do not ships dog out of state. Now I love the companionship of people and truly enjoy being close to my humans.
