This puppy was born on Dec. 9, 2022 and has been through a lot of changes. She has been adopted twice and due to changes in the owner's life, she has been returned to the rescue to try to finally find a reall forever family. She is a sweet dog who loves to play with other dogs, but now has trouble trusting people, because they keep disappointing her. She will need some extra care to get her over this, and find her confidence to be the best dog she can be. She will do best if she has another dog in the house to be her new bff. ##1630738##

Story
Description: Female, Border Collie mix, 6 years old, Weighs 37 pounds Fully vaccinated and neutered Personality: She is timid at first, but very loving once she gets to know you, Calm, Affectionate, Clean, Candy was rescued 5 years ago. She has been in foster care for 4 years. But why? You might ask, well… When Candy was rescued, she was taken to the vet, she regained health, she was fully vaccinated and she was spayed. She only had one issue left before being put up for adoption: She was afraid of everything. Candy would get extremely stressed with the most minor situations, this triggered Candy to suffer from nervous colitis on a constant basis. She stopped suffering this when she was moved into a new foster home with Don Nacho, who is part of the FHSTJ rescue team. Candy has been at this foster home for 4 years. So why is Candy now up for adoption? Well with the help of Don Nacho and his wife, Candy has improved over the years. The Candy we met 5 years ago is a very different dog than the Candy we currently know. In her foster home, although there are several dogs, Candy’s needs are completely cared for 24/7. But Candy deserves more than that, we wish that she can have a family of her own, who will not only care for her, but also give her all the love and attention she deserves. That is why Candy is now up for adoption, and we believe her forever family is out there. A family who understands her needs, a family who will keep a calm environment, who will love her and care for her. Candy is ready to give all her love to the family that will give her a forever home.

Story
URGENT - scheduled to be euthanized 12/6! Hi, I’m Oliver! I’ve been in the shelter for over 4 months now and I’m having a hard time. I came to the shelter with manners and was a pretty chill guy, but living behind bars with limited outside time is really getting to me and I need out! How would you act if you were stuck in a kennel all day?! I’m very sad and everytime I see people walk by my kennel I get vocal because I just want them to give me a chance and show me love. Since I’m not showing well in the kennel and the shelter is running out of space, they say I only have a few days to get out of here or I won’t make it. I’m a good boy and I like to play with other dogs. I just need someone to save my life and give me a chance, could it be you? Story
Meet Zion, a 1.5 year old Australian Cattle Dog surrendered to Woof Gang Rehab by his previous owners. True to the cattle dog breed standard, Zion is loyal, smart, alert, and wary of strangers. With Zion’s training, the issues he was having leading to his surrender are very well managed. Zion is working on proofing his advanced obedience training, walks very well on leash, and is reliable off leash. Zion is looking for an active home that will continue to implement structure and keep up with his training to keep setting him up for success. He would be an excellent sport dog for anyone interested in getting him into a competition sport and/or other active lifestyle like hiking, running, or camping. Zion is a happy boy and hasn’t met a person whose face he couldn’t put a smile on. He is extremely eager to please, his engagement with his handler is amazing, and he’s always ready to go, go, go! Zion gets along very well with foster sister Kimber (a lab). Kimber has shown Zion that strangers aren’t always danger and has helped his confidence with new people. All Zion wants is for his family and friends to PET HIM. Zion also does great with other dogs. Zion is available now, and is currently fostered out of San Diego, CA. Please follow his foster on IG, @cuddleswithkimber and @woofgangrehab to follow his training journey! Please visit Zion's available dog page on our website to learn more about our program and apply to adopt him: ZION: https://woofgangrehab.org/available_dog/zion/ APPLY: https://woofgangrehab.org/rescue/adoption-application/
