Tito is a Border Collie mix. He’s four years old and 50 pounds. He was a stray, rescued from the streets of TJ, and he was injured at the time of his rescue. He unfortunately had to have his leg amputated due to the severity of his injuries. Despite suffering so much, he is an easy going, loving and grateful dog. He loves humans and loves to be in the company of his humans. He’s obedient, loves car rides, and sleeps in his crate with the door open. He walks well on a leash and gets around despite having lost his leg. He likes most dogs but small dogs tend to annoy him, and he does best with female dogs. He doesn’t like to share his food unless he likes the other dog. He loves being petted. He would be a wonderful companion, and he deserves to find a loving family.

Sadly her family situation has changed and Zuzu is back with us looking for a new foster or forever family. Zuzu is a three year old Border Collie mix (best guess). She is smart, house trained, leash trained, crate trained, has basic skills and loves dogs, even went to doggie daycare in the past (plays a bit rough and tumble so smaller or sensitive dogs may not be a fan of that). Zuzu is protective of her people and home and thus would do best in a dog savvy ‘quieter” adult only home. Mom is a nice 38 pound medium breed and the family was rescued from the streets of Ensenada, Mexico. These boy are just a bouncy ball of happy and social silly pups. The pups are baja mixes not sure of their breeds but they resemble collie/lab/terrier mixes definitely to be a smaller medium size breed when full grown. They adore humans, dogs and cats. They are typical happy go lucky pups who sleep at night in their crate and during feeding times, they will need an adopter who has a conducive schedule for young pups in order to properly house, potty and obedience train. They are healthy strong kiddos who have finished their puppy vaccination schedules and are ready for adoption and their neuter surgery is pending scheduled for early october in the North park area 92104 zip code and we can ONLY accept local san diegans as adopters so they can attend the prescheduled neuter apts in October. The adoption fee of course includes their neuter. If the pups are still available after their surgery date THEN we can open adoption to anyone outside of San Diego. They do not need to be adopted together but they would be an excellent pair as they have excellent friendship and have not exhibited any sibling rivalry, their adoption fees are independent to each other and we do not offer discounts for pups under 6mo of age adopted as pairs. She has an amazing loving and intelligent personality. She and her almost twin brother Orca have just been the best foster pups. Currently staying at casa de arwob. They were rescued from Tijuana Mexico late August. Unfortunately, their owners had their mom chained to a pole in terrible conditions, no water, food, shelter, etc. Someone noticed too late that she needed help and she passed tethered to the pole terrible finding. Their rescuer scooped these 2 babies up and called authorities sadly in Baja nothing was done. The pups where taken to safety. After quarantine was done they crossed the border to ARWOB. They are now fully vetted and ready for adoption. They are amazing with people, dogs and cats. Excellent crate training and of course NOT potty trained, they are only 3 months old. Please, only apply for these pups if you have the schedule for a young pup and have research dog trainers and veterinary care ei expenses to own a dog as well as the long term/lifetime commitment it takes to own a dog for their life which can be 8-18 years. She is already learning to sit, such a smart girl! NOTE: We don't typically recommend sibling adoptions, although these 2 have exhibited great friendship and no sibling rivalry. This big lovable Aussie is looking for his forever family. I would love to keep him if I could because he is so sweet and smart but my husband has some health issues that won’t allow me to. Chester is happy to play fetch/catch with you all day long. He needs to go to a home with a yard because he loves to be outside during the day. He is crate trained and you can expect that he will pick his favorite toy to take to bed in the evening. Chester is a very friendly guy and does very well with other dogs, cats, children and strangers. He loves everyone. I have a small dog and two cats and he is really awesome around them. My dog pesters him a lot, but he’s always gentle around her. He loves my grandchildren and is around them 5 days a week. He does not chew up or destroy things but he can be a little sneaky and steal things out of drawers if he finds them open. I would prefer someone that is familiar with the Australian Shepherd breed to adopt him and love him forever.
