Story
Kane is a 6-year-old Border Collie/German Shepherd mix (DOB 11/9/2019). He is neutered, incredibly smart, affectionate, goofy, and very people-oriented. He loves attention, does well with kids, and gets along well with other dogs. He is not an alpha personality, but he should not go to a home with cats. Kane is absolutely a working-breed dog and thrives when he has purpose, structure, and stimulation. He would do best on a ranch, farm, large property, or with someone experienced with Border Collies or other high-drive working breeds. He is the type of dog that needs both mental and physical engagement to truly be happy. He has developed obsessive tendencies with lights and shadows and can become destructive when under-stimulated or bored. Because of major health issues and physical limitations on my end, I’m no longer able to give him the lifestyle he deserves. I am looking for a home that understands working breeds and can provide him with activity, consistency, and purpose.

Story
Meet Monet! Monet had a rough start to life, found living on the streets with her newborn puppies, but she is eager to put her past behind her and looking forward to finding her forever family. Monet is around 4 years old and we believe she is a mix of many breeds including possibly Border Collie, Chihuahua and Terrier. She is cautious meeting new people but once she is comfortable her sweet and friendly personality comes out. She is not a big barker, is quiet and well behaved in the home, and is medium energy. She hopes her future forever home has a dog sibling or two and a backyard, as her favorite things to do in her current foster home are playing with her dog foster siblings and sunbathing. She is housetrained and crate trained in her current foster home. She is looking for a home without cats or small pets. If you think you are ready to add to your family by adopting Monet then fill out an adoption questionnaire on our website today! We recommend completing the questionnaire and connecting with an adoption coach before looking for a dog or puppy you'd like to adopt. If you're already approved to adopt or if you've adopted from Labs and More before, connect with your adoption coach for the next steps. Your interest in adopting a rescued dog or puppy from Labs and More Rescue is appreciated! Please find our adoption information at www.labsandmore.org. Your adoption donation provides funding for Labs and More, a nonprofit organization which is supported solely by Volunteers and funded by donations. Good news is your adoption donation can be considered tax deductible. So much care is provided to your new dog prior to the adoption, including: spay and neuter, microchip, veterinarian visit(s), vaccinations, and other medical care as needed. Many of the dogs we rescue require extensive surgeries and care prior to adoption. Please understand we are unable to predict future behavior or medical needs of your adopted dog. We provide no guarantees regarding behavior, breed, or age of the dogs. Thank you for rescuing. Thank you for joining the Adoption Family with Labs and More Rescue. We are here to help you find a furry companion. You will find our quick and easy adoption application at www.labsandmore.org and click on Adopt. Story
Kahlo of the Monet puppies is here to bring a splash of color and personality to the canvas of life. She is an adorable, playful, spirited puppy rescued with her siblings and her mama Monet who looks to be a mix of many breeds including Border Collie, Chihuahua and Terrier. We don't know who their dad was or how big these puppies will get but expect them to be medium in size like their mom or bigger. Kahlo is crate trained, sleeps through the night and is doing well with housetraining. She is friendly with other dogs and good with kids. Kahlo is looking for a family that understands the time, patience, and energy needed to raise a young pup. We require all puppy adopters to provide training that includes: house training, basic training, leash training, and socialization. Additionally, this cutie is going to need proper exercise, mental stimulation, and your attention and love to grow up to be the best companion. We do not allow our dogs or puppies to sleep or live outside; they must be incorporated into your family and be made a priority in your life. In return, you will have the most loving and loyal family member you could ask for. If you think you are ready to add to your family by adopting a Monet puppy then fill out an adoption questionnaire on our website today! We recommend completing the questionnaire and connecting with an adoption coach before looking for a dog or puppy you'd like to adopt.
