Story
Tito is a Border Collie mix. He’s four years old and 50 pounds. He was a stray, rescued from the streets of TJ, and he was injured at the time of his rescue. He unfortunately had to have his leg amputated due to the severity of his injuries. Despite suffering so much, he is an easy going, loving and grateful dog. He loves humans and loves to be in the company of his humans. He’s obedient, loves car rides, and sleeps in his crate with the door open. He walks well on a leash and gets around despite having lost his leg. He likes most dogs but small dogs tend to annoy him, and he does best with female dogs. He doesn’t like to share his food unless he likes the other dog. He loves being petted. He would be a wonderful companion, and he deserves to find a loving family.

Story
Meet Andrew – The Gentle Giant with a Heart of Gold Andrew is the definition of a gentle giant. Weighing in at 75 pounds, this handsome boy is the perfect mix of calm, affectionate, and well-mannered. He’s so polite and easygoing, you might not even notice he’s there—until he nudges you for a belly rub or gently licks your hand to show his love. Though big in size, Andrew is still a puppy at heart. He loves playing with other dogs and would thrive with a canine companion close to his age. He’s house trained, crate trained, and walks beautifully on a leash. His foster parents are even teaching him off-leash skills on their long, private road—he’s proving to be a quick learner! Andrew does have a playful quirk: he prefers blankets over dog beds (he has a habit of chewing them up!), but that’s just part of his charm. He may be a little shy when meeting new people, but with just a little patience, he warms up quickly and becomes incredibly affectionate. If you’re looking for a loyal, lovable, and low-key companion, Andrew is your guy. He’s ready for a forever home where he can continue to grow in confidence and shower his new family with love. Are you ready to meet your new best friend?

Story
Hero has a heart of gold! This loving girl came to us not only with her own puppies but a second litter she took in when their mama died. She is now finished with motherhood and ready to find a family to call her own. Hero is around 4 years old and we believe she is a mix of Border Collie and Lab. She is a sensitive, gentle and sweet soul. She is smart and knows a few basic commands. She loves to spend time with her people and walks well on leash. She is housetrained, crate trained and great with other dogs. Hero would do best in a home with another dog and with a family home more often than not. She would also be a great dog to take places as she minds well and is not reactive on leash. If you think you are ready to add to your family by adopting Hero, then fill out an adoption questionnaire on our website today! We recommend completing the questionnaire and connecting with an adoption coach before looking for a dog or puppy you'd like to adopt. If you're already approved to adopt or if you've adopted from Labs and More before, connect with your adoption coach for the next steps. Your interest in adopting a rescued dog or puppy from Labs and More Rescue is appreciated! Please find our adoption information at www.labsandmore.org. Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. We originally pulled Jojo in 9/2020! She has come a long way since then! She no longer has the major separation anxiety that she had before. She enjoys playing with other dogs, loves going for walks and is completely crate trained. Her perfect family will have other dogs for her to hang out with and some patience as she learns a new routine. She is one of the happiest dogs we've ever pulled. We love her and we think you will, too!  Jojo has had a rough life with humans that just keep letting her down. She didn't get the important socialization when she was a baby, instead she was left in the backyard.  Jojo is still in training and is working on being a calmer dog. She does amazingly well if she can be around her person, she gets anxious when she is alone. She suffers from separation anxiety and would do best in a home where adults are home. She loves having other dogs around and being with another dog helps calm her down. We think Jojo's perfect home will have a place for her to live with another dog and owners that are willing to work with her on her separation anxiety and help her to get comfortable  in her new home.  Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.October 24, 2024, 12:11 am

Story
Meet Sharma! 5-year-old Sharma spent her early years on a property in Ramona, living among too many other dogs. When her owner needed help rehoming some of them, three were welcomed into the Frosted Faces family — including Sharma. When Sharma arrived at the beginning of April, she was understandably very scared after having her world turned upside down. She had never left the property previously or been around any humans other than her owner. Even so, Sharma's sweet and gentle nature shone through. Sharma has learned that she can trust her new human friends and to understand that she is safe. She enjoys gentle pets, loves treats, and does well in a large play group with dogs of all sizes. Walking on a leash was completely new to Sharma, and she recently went on her first walk around the FFF grounds. The volunteer who was with her shared afterwards: "Sharma was very alert, but after chilling in the gazebo for a bit, she seemed to enjoy sniffing and walking around and exploring. She walked very nicely on the leash, no problems at all. Sharma is the sweetest girl, and she even gave me a couple of kisses. When we started back in, the noise and barking of the kennels made her a little anxious. I think she really liked getting away from it all." We're so proud of Sharma and how far she has come. She now goes on daily walks and soon will be ready to join our group hikes on Sundays. To meet beautiful Sharma, please email placement@frostedfacesfoundation.org
