Story
Tito is a Border Collie mix. He’s four years old and 50 pounds. He was a stray, rescued from the streets of TJ, and he was injured at the time of his rescue. He unfortunately had to have his leg amputated due to the severity of his injuries. Despite suffering so much, he is an easy going, loving and grateful dog. He loves humans and loves to be in the company of his humans. He’s obedient, loves car rides, and sleeps in his crate with the door open. He walks well on a leash and gets around despite having lost his leg. He likes most dogs but small dogs tend to annoy him, and he does best with female dogs. He doesn’t like to share his food unless he likes the other dog. He loves being petted. He would be a wonderful companion, and he deserves to find a loving family.

Story
Meet These Sweet Pups — Ready for Their Forever Home! You haven’t experienced unconditional puppy love until you’ve met these little ones — playful, gentle, and full of heart, just waiting for someone to love them. These puppies are currently living in a foster home, and despite a rough start to life, they’ve shown nothing but sweetness, resilience, and hope. They are getting spayed/neutered on December 16th and can go home after that. They are microchipped, dewormed, and up to date on age-appropriate vaccines. They are social, friendly dogs who do well with other dogs and people — the kind that instantly melts into your lap and makes themselves at home. While shy at first, theyu warm up quickly and once they trust you, they’re snuggle-bugs, playful pals, and loyal companions all in one. These pups deserve a loving, patient, and caring home that will give them a second chance — and fill them with all the belly rubs, treats, walks, and cuddles  Paige – 10 Week-Old Female (Border Collie/Boxer Mix) Paige is the energetic, fun-spirited pup of the group! Story
Danny is a super cute 7-month-old male! We think he might be a mix of a Lab x Shepherd, maybe Border Collie! He has a very sweet heart and gentle soul, and enjoys hanging out in "safe spaces" - when given time and space, he's gained confidence and curiosity. His personality SHINES and he's really able to come out of his shell with the help of some of his doggie friends. Because of this, we would require him to go to a home that has another dog to keep him company. He would also need a crate or a bed in the corner of the home to help him have a safe space for him to retreat to if feeling overwhelmed and needing a break. He would do well with kids 8+. His best friend at Thrive is Jersey, a sweet and nurturing maternal figure who has helped Danny tremendously. Jersey is a 5-year-old female Bulldog mix. Ask about our "2-for-1" adoption if you're interested in giving both of these deserving sweethearts a home together! (While they're best friends, they can go to separate homes - we would just love to see them together ) Danny would do best with someone who can go slow with him and continue helping him build his confidence, including leash walking skills. He would love a quiet low-traffic neighborhood or a private yard. He has made huge progress exploring new environments and meeting new people with the help of his K9 companions! He has been very playful with other puppies, and at times playful and submissive with larger dogs.  Professional Photos by Kelsey Swann Photography - https://kelseyswannphotography.shootproof.com/ ##2571702##

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. We originally pulled Jojo in 9/2020! She has come a long way since then! She no longer has the major separation anxiety that she had before. She enjoys playing with other dogs, loves going for walks and is completely crate trained. Her perfect family will have other dogs for her to hang out with and some patience as she learns a new routine. She is one of the happiest dogs we've ever pulled. We love her and we think you will, too!  Jojo has had a rough life with humans that just keep letting her down. She didn't get the important socialization when she was a baby, instead she was left in the backyard.  Jojo is still in training and is working on being a calmer dog. She does amazingly well if she can be around her person, she gets anxious when she is alone. She suffers from separation anxiety and would do best in a home where adults are home. She loves having other dogs around and being with another dog helps calm her down. We think Jojo's perfect home will have a place for her to live with another dog and owners that are willing to work with her on her separation anxiety and help her to get comfortable  in her new home.  Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.October 24, 2024, 12:11 am

Story
**** Please read adoption information carefully!!!**** Tipper is a sweet, special little girl! She is very curious, athletic, affectionate and loving. She is a lap dog. When not playing or investigating the yard, she prefers to snuggle and curl up next to or on top of you. Tipper is great with puppies, leash, trained, potty, trained, great in the car, and very friendly once she gets to know you. Tipper is a well-adjusted puppy who has been hand raised. She has never shown any signs of aggression of any kind, including food aggression. All of the puppies are fed together, and typically choose to share three or four bowls. Tipper is used to playing and sleeping with the other dogs on the property. She is well socialized, both with humans and dogs. While I have never seen her interact with a cat, I have no reason to anticipate a problem. ************************************ ADOPTION INFORMATION ************************************ I only adopt LOCALLY; San Diego and immediate vicinity.
