Story
Hero has a heart of gold! This loving girl came to us not only with her own puppies but a second litter she took in when their mama died. She is now finished with motherhood and ready to find a family to call her own. Hero is around 4 years old and we believe she is a mix of Border Collie and Lab. She is a sensitive, gentle and sweet soul. She is smart and knows a few basic commands. She loves to spend time with her people and walks well on leash. She is housetrained, crate trained and great with other dogs. Hero would do best in a home with another dog and with a family home more often than not. She would also be a great dog to take places as she minds well and is not reactive on leash. If you think you are ready to add to your family by adopting Hero, then fill out an adoption questionnaire on our website today! We recommend completing the questionnaire and connecting with an adoption coach before looking for a dog or puppy you'd like to adopt. If you're already approved to adopt or if you've adopted from Labs and More before, connect with your adoption coach for the next steps. Your interest in adopting a rescued dog or puppy from Labs and More Rescue is appreciated! Please find our adoption information at www.labsandmore.org. Your adoption donation provides funding for Labs and More, a nonprofit organization which is supported solely by Volunteers and funded by donations. Good news is your adoption donation can be considered tax deductible. So much care is provided to your new dog prior to the adoption, including: spay and neuter, microchip, veterinarian visit(s), vaccinations, and other medical care as needed. Many of the dogs we rescue require extensive surgeries and care prior to adoption. Please understand we are unable to predict future behavior or medical needs of your adopted dog. We provide no guarantees regarding behavior, breed, or age of the dogs. Thank you for rescuing.Thank you for joining the Adoption Family with Labs and More Rescue. We are here to help you find a furry companion. You will find our quick and easy adoption application at www.labsandmore.org and click on Adopt. Please email us at I doginfo@labsandmore.org if you need assistance. Thank you for looking to a rescue group to fulfill your dream of adding a new dog to your life! Story
Meet Andrew – The Gentle Giant with a Heart of Gold Andrew is the definition of a gentle giant. Weighing in at 75 pounds, this handsome boy is the perfect mix of calm, affectionate, and well-mannered. He’s so polite and easygoing, you might not even notice he’s there—until he nudges you for a belly rub or gently licks your hand to show his love. Though big in size, Andrew is still a puppy at heart. He loves playing with other dogs and would thrive with a canine companion close to his age. He’s house trained, crate trained, and walks beautifully on a leash. His foster parents are even teaching him off-leash skills on their long, private road—he’s proving to be a quick learner! Andrew does have a playful quirk: he prefers blankets over dog beds (he has a habit of chewing them up!), but that’s just part of his charm. He may be a little shy when meeting new people, but with just a little patience, he warms up quickly and becomes incredibly affectionate. If you’re looking for a loyal, lovable, and low-key companion, Andrew is your guy. He’s ready for a forever home where he can continue to grow in confidence and shower his new family with love. Are you ready to meet your new best friend?

Story
**** Please read adoption information carefully!!!**** Tipper is a sweet, special little girl! She is very curious, athletic, affectionate and loving. She is a lap dog. When not playing or investigating the yard, she prefers to snuggle and curl up next to or on top of you. Tipper is great with puppies, leash, trained, potty, trained, great in the car, and very friendly once she gets to know you. Tipper is a well-adjusted puppy who has been hand raised. She has never shown any signs of aggression of any kind, including food aggression. All of the puppies are fed together, and typically choose to share three or four bowls. Tipper is used to playing and sleeping with the other dogs on the property. She is well socialized, both with humans and dogs. While I have never seen her interact with a cat, I have no reason to anticipate a problem. ************************************ ADOPTION INFORMATION ************************************ I only adopt LOCALLY; San Diego and immediate vicinity.
