He has typical BC behavior including the occasional nudge in attempt to herd you to where he wants you. He is an adult who is at 50 lbs now and around 2 years old. Chopper can be independent, but also enjoys the company of other dogs and would happily play and romp with them. We would love to find an adopter who likes to go on adventures, hike, swim, run.... anything that expends energy and keeps those senses activated. Chopper would thrive in this environment. He is a quiet fella, not demanding and does great in his crate. Learning and doing great with leash walking and overall would be a smarty pants companion and great snuggler. We will make every attempt to process all applications within 3 business days of receipt. // // Say hello to Desiree, a gorgeous 5 month old border collie blend and currently weighs 22 lbs. Desiree does well with other dogs and with kids, but might be too much for really small children. She's energetic, playful, and friendly. She'd make a great walking or hiking buddy. She's up to date on all vaccinations, is microchipped, and spayed. Her adoption fee is $350 with a refundable training deposit of $100 due at the time of adoption. The training must be provided within a timely fashion to ensure our pups become the best canine citizens. The training deposit will be refundable within 3 months of adoption date. All Second Chance Dog Rescue dogs are spayed/neutered, are up to date on vaccines and have microchips prior to adoption. Adoption fees vary depending on age of dog.
