You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Check Me out !Chopper is a your typical collie mix who fancies himself needing a job.  He has typical BC behavior including the occasional nudge in attempt to herd you to where he wants you.  He is an adult who is at 50 lbs now and around 2 years old.  Chopper can be independent, but also enjoys the company of other dogs and would happily play and romp with them. We would love to find an adopter who likes to go on adventures, hike, swim, run.... anything that expends energy and keeps those senses activated.  Chopper would thrive in this environment.  He is a quiet fella, not demanding and does great in his crate. Learning and doing great with leash walking and overall would be a smarty pants companion and great snuggler. If you would like tomeet Chopper, please submit an application through our website. How this pet arrived:Halibut was brought in as a stray on 1/20/2024. At SDHS:Halibut is vaccinated, microchipped and neutered. He is now ready for his new home! Why this pet is the one for you:Meet Halibut, a young adult seeking a serene home. While he's shy with new people, he's sweet and affectionate once you gain his trust. Although we don't have information about his past experiences with dogs, he has shown excitement and playful behavior towards the dogs he has met in our care. The pups are playful, sweet, friendly, good with other dogs and have been raised with kids. All the pups will be adopted on Foster to Adopt Contracts, until age appropriate for spay/neuter. Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Foster of Forever home wanted!!!!  Meet Zuzu!!!!   Zuzu was adopted from us as a young puppy.  Sadly her family situation has changed and Zuzu is back with us looking for a new foster or forever family.  Zuzu is a two year old Border Collie mix (best guess).  She is smart, house trained, leash trained, crate trained, has basic skills and loves dogs, even went to doggie daycare in the past (plays a bit rough and tumble so smaller or sensitive dogs may not be a fan of that). Zuzu is protective of her people and home and thus would do best in a ‘quieter” adult only or older kid home.  Zuzu is looking for a family who will give her structure, daily exercise, daytime adventures, night time cuddles and the confidence to know human strangers are not a concern.  If Zuzu sounds like the right dog for your family email dogs@labradorsandfriends.org or fill out our online application at www.labradorsandfriends.org  Zuzu is located in Southern California.Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.May 3, 2024, 7:13 pm
