Story
Tommy is a cute and cuddly little boy with an eternally cute face. He was found on the streets with a tumor about 5.5" in diameter in his belly. He lasted a year in treatment with chemotherapy and medication and needed surgery to remove the remaining encapsulated mass. In addition to needing special food to break up a stone bladder, he has ultrasounds to make sure he don't get sediment in his bladder every three months. He is currently a healthy, happy, loving and tender dog. He is very loyal and protective, intelligent and playful. He don't get along well with alpha male dogs, but plays well with puppies and females. He is sociable with children and adults. Tommy is a Border collie mix, and is smaller than a Border collie. When you talk to him he makes a cute and cuddly face, ducks his head and rolls his eyes upwards, I think he knows he is cute and takes advantage of that. Tommy is a dog to spoil, to cuddle and to give him lots of love, since his first family didn't give him all he deserved. The $350.00 adoption fee covers the following: Transport to San Diego, CA. Spay/Neuter. All vaccines up to date. Deworming (puppies 2 sets). Flea medication up to date. Tick control up to date. Microchip. Microchip registration to new owner paid for. Collar. Temporary leash. The adoption fee does not include transportation to North of San Diego

Story
Taco is a high energy and very loving dog. He is 8years old (DOB 4/2015) and weighs 35 lbs. I adopted him from Baja Rescue when he was 9months old and he has lived with me and my family for the last 8years. He is crate trained, house trained, and good with all basic commands and can also do several fun ones. As noted he has lots of energy and loves the dog park as a means of getting all of his zoomies out. We are looking to rehome Taco as we have two young children and are struggling to keep up with his needs (walks, trips to the park, etc).

Story
A great companion! Hi, friends! My name is Alonso, and I’ve come all the way from Tijuana to find my furever home!   I’m a 6 year old old Border Collie mix male, who weighs 45 pounds.  I’m potty-trained, house-trained, and leash-trained, and I’ve already been neutered, too.  As far as my health goes, I’m on Royal Canin Vet Diet Adult Gastrointentinal Low Fat Dry dog to help manage my kidney issues.  I also have limited vision in my right eye and am blind in my left eye, so I am currently on Prednisone acetate, which costs ~$20 a bottle, depending on the market value and where it is purchased and Optixcare Plus lubricant,  (~$15 a tube, depending on the market value and where it is purchased). I also take Telmisartan to manage my high blood pressure (~$15.00 for 3 month supply, depending on market value and where purchased).   I’m the sweetest boy! I love my humans and to be spoiled by them.  My favorite activities include cuddling on the couch, sun-bathing in the yard, napping during the day, getting belly rubs, and going for car rides and walks in the neighborhood.  I’m generally a pretty mellow type of guy, but I do get zoomies in the backyard, and I like to play fetch, too.  Although I love having company, I also do fine on my own with very little signs of separation anxiety. I’d prefer to be the only animal in the home since I don’t do well around other doggies or kitties.  Older kids (eight and older), though, would be a great fit for me. Basically, as long as I have plenty of time around my people, I will thrive be my best self! "The Animal Pad recognizes that taking in a new dog can pose a challenge to the entire family. Alonso’s adoption package includes a FREE four-week scholarship with our partner Goodpup (https://goodpup.com/). Goodpup offers virtual, individualized training to ensure you, your dog, and your family have the skills needed to thrive together. GoodPup Scholarships include: 4+ weeks of positive reinforcement training 24/7 chat for questions and support Access to a behavior team to assist in advanced cases" Do I sound like two paws up to you? If so, my adoption fee is $250 and that includes spaying/neutering, shots, and microchip.  If you want to take me home, please fill out the form on the website here: https://theanimalpad.org/adoption-application/.   ##1495460##

Location: Ballico, CA Save The Dals is trying to help this little group of pups find new homes. We have 3 girls and 1 boy. They are about 9 weeks old, weaned and eating solid food. Their mama has been spayed, so this will not happen again. They are thought to be Collie/Shep Mixes. These are 2 very smart and active breeds. The pups are playful, sweet, friendly, good with other dogs and have been raised with kids. All the pups will be adopted on Foster to Adopt Contracts, until age appropriate for spay/neuter. If you would like to give one of these darlings a forever home, please email us at: info@savethedals.org

Story
About Me:I'm Enrico, a very handsome dude. You might say that I am a basic black and white dog but look closer. I have a white stripe between my black eyes/forehead that spreads out over my nose area and culminates in my very distinguished white vest. Don't you think that sets me apart from being a basic black and white dog? And, don't those few black spots on my face add to my beauty? But, I am not just about looks. I have a tail that wags and wags and wags some more. It is kind of in perpetual motion. A nice volunteer lady said that I was a good car rider when she took me to the park. She said that I was easy to leash and take for a walk. I sat right next to her on the grass and we watched the world around us. I snuggled closer to her a few times and she liked that. So did I. Things are good here but I would like a home and person(s) who I can love and who will love me. I have a lot of energy so I will need protected outside space for playing and a neighborhood for walking would be nice. Are you looking for a not basic black and white dog who snuggles and has lots of love to give? If so, bring a leash and ask to see Enrico - the handsome dude.
