Hi everyone! This is my sweet boy Koa. I adopted him from the humane society. He is goofy, loving, kind to people and other dogs, love adventure (the water, hikes, etc). He is 9 months old and is still learning how to be house trained, but has done a wonderful job at learning so far! I am hoping to find someone who is experienced with puppies, understands that border collies need lots of exercise (prefer someone with a yard or works from home so he can have plenty of time to be outside). I would love for him to go to a loving family.

Maverick is a very sweet dog who is truly exceptional inside the home. He is fully potty trained, crate trained, non-destructive, calm indoors, and has excellent house manners. He bonds closely with his people and is loving and loyal.Maverick is reactive toward other dogs and has a high prey-drive, so he cannot be in a home with any small animal. While he is wonderful at home, being outside requires management, awareness of his triggers, and continued structure. This was our first dog, and we went into this fully committed to training and doing things the right way. Maverick completed 4 weeks of professional board-and-train through Inclusion K9, and we've remained consistent with his training and structure.He will come with his crate, dog bed, leash, toys, remaining food and treats, and other supplies. We care deeply about finding the right home for him and are looking for an adopter who can continue providing the structure and support he needs.

A great companion! Hi, friends! My name is Alonso, and I’ve come all the way from Tijuana to find my furever home! I’m a 7 year old old Border Collie mix male, who weighs 45 pounds. I’m potty-trained, house-trained, and leash-trained, and I’ve already been neutered, too. As far as my health goes, I’m on Royal Canin Vet Diet Adult Gastrointentinal Low Fat Dry dog to help manage my kidney issues. I also have limited vision in my right eye and am blind in my left eye, so I am currently on Prednisone acetate, which costs ~$20 a bottle, depending on the market value and where it is purchased and Optixcare Plus lubricant, (~$15 a tube, depending on the market value and where it is purchased). I also take Telmisartan to manage my high blood pressure (~$15.00 for 3 month supply, depending on market value and where purchased). I’m the sweetest boy! I love my humans and to be spoiled by them. My favorite activities include cuddling on the couch, sun-bathing in the yard, napping during the day, getting belly rubs, and going for car rides and walks in the neighborhood. I’m generally a pretty mellow type of guy, but I do get zoomies in the backyard, and I like to play fetch, too. Although I love having company, I also do fine on my own with very little signs of separation anxiety. I’d prefer to be the only animal in the home since I don’t do well around other doggies or kitties. Older kids (eight and older), though, would be a great fit for me. It has been a joy to see his playful and affectionate personality blossom over time!
