Story
This puppy was born on Dec. 9, 2022 and has been through a lot of changes. She has been "taken home" three times and each time due to changes in the owner's life, she has been returned to the rescue to try to finally find a reall forever family. She is a sweet dog who loves to play with other dogs, but now has trouble trusting people, because they keep disappointing her. She will need some extra care to get her over this, and find her confidence to be the best dog she can be. She will do best if she has another dog in the house to be her new bff. ##1630738##

Story
Paisley is a very well behaved, loving dog. She is extremely friendly with people, only wanting to cuddle with you and kiss you. Unfortunately, her problem is with other dogs / pets. She is nervous around other dogs. Typically, she will avoid other dogs, but in high energy situations, her instincts kick in and she will go after the other dog to try and control the situation. This is the reason we need to re-home her, as she does not get along with our other pets. She has never had any problem with any humans, in fact quite the opposite. She loves new people, and loves when any stranger is willing to pet her. She is extremely toy driven, so if there is a ball or frisbee in her sight, that will be the only thing she cares about, but she loves fetch. She will always bring the ball back to you and wait for you to throw it again. Paisley is a nervous but loving dog who needs a family to keep her separate from other animals in order to live her best life.

Story
We got Barry when he was puppy from San Diego Humane Society. We are rehoming him because we are not giving him the life he needs anymore. It was not easy to come to this decision, but our family circumstances have changed and now we are moving out of the state. He definitely needs an active home with someone who can cater to the needs of a border collie. Barry is very sweet with people he knows. He can be very goofy and rambunctious, he loves to play with toys and loves treats. He likes to incite play with our other dog and sometimes will gently play with the cats. Sometimes he can be too much for the other animal but is very easy to call off or distract. Sometimes he will chase the cats, especially when they get the zoomies, but he has never shown them any aggression. In the mornings when he wakes up he loves to roll around on the bed and loves to receive pets at that time. He likes to be around us and loves getting attention.
