Story
Looking for the right home for Doc 🤍Doc is 5 years old (12/31/2020) and has been raised with another dog and four children. He is a HUGE cuddle bug who thinks he’s a lap dog. 😂 His absolute favorite things are stuffed animals!Doc is house trained, kennel trained, car trained, and microchipped. He loves walks, although he does pull on the leash because he gets very excited. We’re making the difficult decision to rehome him because he has developed increasingly possessive/dominant behavior involving our other dog, along with some concerning behavior when overstimulated or possessive. With young children, we don’t feel our home is the best environment for him anymore. We feel he’d do best with an experienced owner in an adult-only home, preferably as the only dog. We want to be completely transparent and find the RIGHT home for him.Doc does have allergies that can cause him to itch and create hot spots. He is miDoc will come with his bed, bowl, leash, harness, collar, and favorite toy. 🤍

Story
Kuro is a sweet, energetic, and extremely smart Border Collie/Shepherd mix. We are looking to rehome him as he is having a very hard time adjusting to our daughter, and requires more attention than we are able to give him at this point in our lives. He loves cuddling, playing fetch, going on runs, and being the center of attention. He gets along well with our other small dog, however expect a short adjustment period for him if you have another dog. He seems to get anxious around certain people, but he does not have any sort of aggressive history; just stranger danger. This is one of the hardest things we’ve ever had to do, but we can no longer provide him the attention or care that he needs to thrive. We’ve also chosen to keep the adoption fee at $0 because we want him to go to a loving, caring home.

Story
Maverick is a very sweet dog who is truly exceptional inside the home. He is fully potty trained, crate trained, non-destructive, calm indoors, and has excellent house manners. He bonds closely with his people and is loving and loyal.Maverick is reactive toward other dogs and has a high prey-drive, so he cannot be in a home with any small animal. While he is wonderful at home, being outside requires management, awareness of his triggers, and continued structure. This was our first dog, and we went into this fully committed to training and doing things the right way. Maverick completed 4 weeks of professional board-and-train through Inclusion K9, and we've remained consistent with his training and structure. He will come with his crate, dog bed, leash, toys, remaining food and treats, and other supplies. We care deeply about finding the right home for him and are looking for an adopter who can continue providing the structure and support he needs.

Story
Pancho needs a new home through no fault of his own. I started a job with heavy travel and he deserves more attention than I can give him. He’s a genuinely good boy. Friendly, great with other dogs, always up for play. Long brown and white coat, light eyes. Car rides are his favorite thing. Two things upfront. He wants attention constantly and will follow you room to room, favorite spot is lying at your feet. And he’s nippy at ankles and sleeves, classic herding puppy stuff. He does tell you what he wants with his mouth. Responds well to structure and exercise, but you need to be ready to work on it. Best in a home without small kids. He’s smart with strong herding instincts. Needs someone active who can train, or will hire a trainer. Give him a job and he’s an incredible companion.Healthy, shots current, not yet neutered

Story
Personality: Very working dog like. He gets high anxiety in new situations and thrives with work and training. Education: Good with bathroom and working on leash training. He does best when physical and mental enrichment is completed. Favorite Activities: Playing with the other little dog in the house, getting affection; he likes to have his paw shaken and just be pet. Looking For: An active family that has experience with a smart, workaholic dog and can manage his needs with enrichment and exercise. No cats, and older kids are better. Special Needs/Concerns: Needs anxiety management and enjoys training. Dog selective BIO: Meet Billy—the perfect blend of independent lounger and loyal companion! Billy is a wonderful, low-maintenance guy who loves being part of the household without constantly demanding your attention. If you’re looking for a dog who is content to do his own thing but will gladly shower you with affection once he knows you, Billy might just be your perfect match. Here is everything you need to know about this handsome boy. The Daily Routine: * The Ultimate Sunbather: Billy's absolute favorite hobby is lounging by the pool. He will happily spend hours soaking up the sun and catching some rays. * Low-Key Couch Potato: He needs a good walk in the morning and another after dinner. Once those are checked off, he is perfectly content to curl up on the couch or the floor and relax while you watch TV. * Independent Yet Loyal: Billy loves to be in the same room as his humans, but he is definitely not needy. He has no problem staying by himself and handles solo time like a champ.   Social Style & Adaptability: * Meeting New Friends: Billy needs a slow introduction to new people, but there's a simple trick to winning him over: just ignore him! If you let him come to you on his own terms, he adapts incredibly fast. * The Ultimate Reward: Once you’ve crossed the finish line and become his friend, you’re in for life. He will greet you with a wagging tail and a face full of loving licks! * Dog Interactions: Billy previously lived with two other dogs and got along great with them, but he can be selective about his playmates. Because of this, he would do best in a home with no other dogs, or with a small dog companion. Walkies & Training (Where he needs your help!): Billy is a great walker, but he does experience some leash reactivity. His current foster has been working diligently with him, and he is making fantastic progress using positive reinforcement (treats!). His forever owner will need to be committed to continuing this training. Billy’s ideal human is someone who understands his needs on a walk, which include: * Being proactive and crossing to the other side of the street when another walker approaches. * Being strong and alert enough to hold him back if a larger dog approaches or reacts to him. Ready to meet Billy? If you are looking for an independent, sun-loving companion and are willing to guide him through his leash walks, Billy will reward you with endless loyalty and affection. Apply to adopt Billy today!
