Dogs are being turned in higher numbers than the shelter can accommodate; therefore, many are losing their lives simply due to a lack of cage space. We are helping get the word out about their immediate need. Please save this deserving pooch and clear a kennel for another dog in need today! This beautiful dog is located in the Moreno Valley shelter. Shelter needs to clear kennels. They are over capacity and all available dogs are in urgent need. Router recently celebrated his first birthday on August 27th! I brought him home as a puppy from Northern California, and he has been such a loving and joyful part of my life ever since. Router is an incredibly smart, playful, and affectionate boy. He loves being around both people and other dogs and is happiest when he gets to socialize, play, and be part of the family. He also loves getting fruits and vegetables as treats and is always excited to try something new! He has such a fun personality and brings so much happiness wherever he goes. Giving him up is an extremely difficult decision, and my heart truly hurts at the thought of losing him. I’m looking for a home where he will be treated as part of the family, given plenty of love, attention, playtime, and companionship. Most importantly, I hope to find someone who will love Router just as much as I do - and hopefully even more!

Meet Bud-E, a sweet, mellow gentleman whose absolute favorite hobby is perfecting the art of the afternoon nap! While he can be a little timid at first, this friendly boy has been wonderfully amenable with our team and has warmed up quickly. According to his previous owner's family, he is already housetrained and has done well with other dogs. Bud-E came to us after his owner passed away, and he is now dreaming of a cozy home where he can simply hang out and soak up lots of extra TLC. He is currently carrying some extra weight and managing arthritis, so he appreciates a little lift from a walking sling to help him get around while he works on his fitness journey (and no stairs, please!). Shadow is a high drive working breed border collie who needs someone with breed experience (preferred). Fulfillment requirements: She will need more than just an hour long walk a day to meet her physical requirements. She currently bikes, hikes, and loves to swim. She is also well versed in carrying a weighted pack on her hikes, which helps her tune into her body and slow her mind. She's an athletic girl and needs someone to match that lifestyle. Sociability (Dog preferences): Shadow is dog selective. She would be perfectly fine in a home with no other dogs but would also do ok if she found a home with the right dog for her. No little dogs or other small animals though. She doesn't enjoy every dog but enjoys most in the proper introductions are taken. She doesn't enjoy chaos with other dogs but loves to partake in structured pack activities. She is NOT a dog park or high-energy daycare type dog. Training: She's crate trained and sleeps, eats and rests in one daily. She's highly intelligent and learns quickly. She is well versed in basic obedience cues: sit, down, stand, stay, recall, place, middle, and loose leash walking. She does not enjoy being approached, touched or spoken to by strangers but has increased her thresholds for tolerance by quite a lot.
