Story
**Meet Benjamin! 🤍** Benjamin is a **2.5-year-old** **Border Collie / Great Pyrenees mix** and a big, handsome boy weighing around **75 pounds**. Despite his size, Benjamin is a true gentle giant with a calm, loving nature that makes him a wonderful companion. Benjamin is a **sweet and affectionate dog** who enjoys a quieter pace of life. He walks beautifully on a leash and prefers **slow, meandering strolls** where he can take in the world around him. He’s a fairly mellow guy who doesn’t bark much and settles easily into a relaxed routine. He is **house trained** and does well around a variety of animals. Benjamin gets along with cats and has been fine with all the farm animals he’s met on his walks. He tolerates other dogs, though he can be a bit nervous when meeting new canine friends and would do best with calm introductions and patient guidance. Benjamin is friendly with everyone he’s met so far, though he has not yet been tested with children. Benjamin is **neutered, up to date on vaccines, and microchipped**, and ready to find his forever home. He would thrive in a peaceful household looking for a loyal, gentle companion who enjoys calm walks, quiet company, and lots of love. If you’re searching for a **sweet, easygoing, gentle soul**, Benjamin may be the perfect addition to your family 🐾💙

Story
Oso is a very friendly border collie. I got him as a gift for Christmas from a family friend. He is nine months old. He likes to explore and is good with other dogs. I really do enjoy having him, but my living condition isn’t the best. He is not allowed inside due to family. I believe he deserves a home where he can be loved and played with all the time. Please give him all the love he deserves and a comfortable home. He has trouble jumping on people, but that’s just because he’s very excited and has a lot of energy. He knows how to play catch!

Story
Juni will need to be picked up in Rancho Cucamonga, CA where she is currently in foster care. Hi, I'm Juni (short for Juniper)! I'm a young, 1-year-old Miniature Aussie with a heart full of love. My world is full of wonder and curiosity. I love exploring new things and I'm a playful pup always ready for a game of fetch or a fun romp in the yard. I'm very affectionate and love to cuddle and snuggle up for a good nap or for a pet on my soft fur. My gentle nature and friendly spirit make me a great companion and I am just the right size to care for (appox 30 lbs). I've got energy to spare and a tail that won't stop wagging. But what I want most is a family to share all my love and energy with. Adopting me means boundless love, and a faithful friend forever. My adoption fee is $400 and I have an appointment to be spayed in January. Email Alphadogpetrescue@yahoo.com for an application to adopt me at I am located near Rancho Cucamonga, CA.

Story
Michele entered The Misfit Ranch after spending nearly a full year abandoned in a boarding facility, where she waited month after month for someone to finally come back for her. Despite everything she’s been through, Michele still greets the world with love in her eyes and hope in her heart. This beautiful 6-year-old red heeler mix weighs about 50 pounds and has a personality that is impossible not to fall for. Michele absolutely adores affection and wants nothing more than to be close to her people. She leans into pets with her whole body, smiles when she’s happy, and has a way of making you feel like you are the most important person in the room. Michele thrives on connection and attention, and once she bonds with you, she is deeply loyal and affectionate. She can coexist well with other dogs, though she does best with proper, slow introductions. She is mostly house trained with only the occasional accident, and she sleeps quietly in her crate at night. After losing almost a year of her life to a kennel run, Michele is finally getting the chance to experience comfort, love, and stability in foster care — and she is flourishing. Now she’s ready to find the family she’s been waiting so patiently for.

Story
Meet Peggy Sue! Peggy Sue is a 6-year-old red heeler who was rescued from the shelter just as her time was running out. Now she's safe, loved, and ready to find the forever family she has been waiting for. Like many heelers, Peggy can be a little shy when meeting new people. She likes to take a moment to figure you out first. But once you've earned her trust? It's game over. You'll be rewarded with endless love, snuggles, face kisses, and a devoted best friend who thinks you're the greatest thing on earth. Peggy Sue is the perfect blend of sweet and silly. When she's happy, she breaks into her signature zoomies, twirling her little tail and bouncing around the house with the enthusiasm of an Olympic athlete and the vertical leap of a potato. It's impossible not to laugh. She loves car rides, neighborhood walks, puzzle toys, and her nightly dental treat, which she takes very seriously, she’s not a big fan of cats though. She's house trained, rides beautifully in the car, has excellent manners when taking treats, and has never met a cozy spot on the couch she didn't approve of. One of Peggy's favorite things in the world is cuddle time. Every night she happily settles in for her foster mom to wrap her up like a burrito and shower her with hugs. She'll happily return the favor with plenty of kisses. Peggy does have some classic heeler traits. She takes her self-appointed jobs as household protector and part-time herd manager very seriously. She's loyal, observant, and always likes to know what's going on around her. Peggy has also been kenneled with other dogs and did well. While proper introductions are always important, we believe she could do well in a home with another dog when given slow, thoughtful introductions and time to settle in. Most of all, Peggy is looking for someone to love. She has a huge heart, a hilarious personality, and so much affection to give. If you're looking for a loyal companion who will make you laugh, keep you company on life's adventures, and happily curl up beside you at the end of the day, Peggy Sue might just be your perfect match.
