Remmy – The Splash King in Search of His People! Hi, world! I'm Remmy, short for Romulus... yeah, I know, it’s a mouthful! I ended up in the Bakersfield shelter where space was tight. The staff there loved me so much they kept moving me around to keep me safe. But time was running out. That’s when Angel Dog Alliance stepped in and gave me a second chance. Now? I’m officially accepting applications for my forever family! I’m a 1-year-old Border Collie/Shepherd mix, about 60 lbs of pure joy, and I’m neutered, vaccinated, and ready to roll. I’ve got big puppy energy! I love to run, play, and splash like crazy in the kiddie pool (you’ve been warned). My favorite thing? Making a big entrance with a splash and hopping around with my toys. Zoomies are my love language. I’m super friendly with people and haven’t met a stranger I didn’t like. I’d be happiest in a home with another doggy friend to wrestle and play with. I know how to sit, I can shake paw, and I walk well on a leash, even though I zig-zag because everything is just so interesting. I’m great with kids, especially older ones who won’t mind my enthusiasm. I might knock over tiny toddlers during a zoomie, so I’d do best with kids 5 and up. Cats? My world is full of wonder and curiosity. I love exploring new things and I'm a playful pup always ready for a game of fetch or a fun romp in the yard. I'm very affectionate and love to cuddle and snuggle up for a good nap or for a pet on my soft fur. This guy is call Dash. But im sure he can be anything you want his name to be. He was born october 3rd. 2025. Mom is a Blue Heeler, and dad a Begal/Basset Hound. He is an energetic, sweet, loving, little boy, who is already potty trained, pee pads, and crate trained. My female that is only a year old herself got pregnant by accident. So I'm trying to find good homes for her smart little pups.

Guppy was born February 8, 2022! My sister rescued her from someone keeping her chained to a tree. She was born completely deaf but that doesn’t stop her from living just as happy as any other dog. We only notice it when we need to get her attention but it’s easy to work around that. She loves having kitties as roommates but doesn’t need to interact much at all! We took her in when my sister realized her kids were very allergic. She also was incredibly anxious with the older kids. We have since had a child of our own and he is now on the move. She is sadly becoming more anxious despite boundaries and keeping them separate. We will be moving to a one bedroom apartment soon and it will be even harder to keep them separate. As hard as it is to rehome her, she deserves to be in a stress free home! She loves her sniff walks more than anything! She can interact with other dogs but she has strict boundaries with them. She loves being an indoor dog and loves all the attention she can get!
