Story
My name is Fancy . I am estimated to be 2 years old. I am a very sweet girl, but I have a very quirky personality. I am very good in the house ; I am crate trained and have used a doggie door. I love jumping right in the car and going for rides ! I walk on a leash every day currently. When I first meet people, I am very cautious, and act scared. I defiantly bond very fast to women. Young kids scare me, and I tend to go hide in my safe place , my crate. Once I feel comfy around you , I act just like every other dog. I love to give kisses , play with my toys and go for walks on the leash. I love fresh carrots for a treat or a big rawhide to chew on. I have lived with several dogs before and enjoy their company. All my vet work is done, and I am microchipped. My adoption fee covers transport from Tennessee. I can be a very good loyal companion in the right setting. I don’t necessarily need a fenced in yard if you walk me on a leash every day.

Story
Sweet Dixie has been at the rescue for almost a year. The group of dogs that she entered care with were quickly adopted out. She is still waiting. Dixie was a young mom who had to scrounge for food while living outside. She no longer has to wonder where her next meal is coming from, but she is still wondering when someone will choose her. Dixie is an energetic girl who just wants to be near her human - she prefers women. She loves to roll in the grass in the sunshine and take walks. Dixie is energetic and enjoys running around at a dog park. Being a healer, she is very smart and quick to learn. She really wants to please. Dixie would love to find a home where she feels secure and can be active. She will need time to settle in and get used to the routines of the household. Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Hi my name is Boomer.  I am almost 2 years old. I am a Cattle Dog (AKA) Blue Heeler. I may be a little mixed, but not sure. I was surrendered by my owner for a better life. I weigh about 56 lbs. I love people and am friendly with other dogs. Not sure if I like cats. I have never lived with small children, so maybe older kids would be good for me. I am house broke and crate trained. I do need more training. I can sit, go down, usually come when called, working on drop it, when I bring the ball back. I like to play fetch, go on car rides, go swimming, hike in the woods and run around. I really just like to be around people and get attention. Boomer will be visiting the vet for a health check and needed vaccines.  He will be neutered and microchipped before going to adoption.   Happy Days Dog and Cat Rescue microchips all dogs and cats before adoption. Microchips are implanted between the shoulder blades and are another form of identification should the animal get lost. The microchips are registered to    Happy Days Dog and Cat Rescue. The adopter's information is added once the adoption is complete. The adopter is responsible for a $19.99/Year registration fee or a $45.00/Lifetime registration fee to change information.    Dogs and Cats still need to have collar with tags should they get lost. Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.November 21, 2025, 2:30 pm

Story
--FOSTER PUPDATE--Pollicis A17747963 lb. spayed female, approx 2 years old -I'm a moderate to higher energy dog who loves to connect to my “cattle dog” roots. I can do amazing zoomies, chase balls and enjoy practicing my “herding” skills.-That said, I am wonderful at self-entertainment! I will find a bone and a comfy spot and chill while I practice good dental hygiene! -I live with 2 foster dog siblings and am doing so good with those canine relationships and dynamics. (Slow, proper introductions are always a MUST!)-Once I’ve taken care of my zoomies, I love to curl up to nap whenever my foster mom and foster fur siblings are hanging out. -I’m fully house trained and crate trained, although I only go into my crate at night to sleep.-I am so loyal and love to be around people once I’ve warmed up to them. I naturally seem to prefer women, however with time and patience I’ve warmed up to the males in my foster home. -I’m pretty good on a leash, very little pulling and am working on walking in a straight direction.-I love taking stuffy toys outside and I just love being outside, sunbathing and exploring the fenced yard. -I already have good manners - I sit for treats and food. I am so gentle taking anything from your hand. -I also live with a teenage boy and while it took me a few days to acclimate to him, he is now one of my favorite humans and I LOVE when he plays with me. -I’m not a super vocal dog. I find my bark from time to time but overall, I’m a pretty quiet gal. -I love to be where the action is - I just want to be part of the pack! -Overall, I’m a very sweet, silly soul who is so loyal and will bring a fun energy and lots of love to the lucky person or family who decides to adopt me!This pet is in a foster home! If you are interested in meeting Pollicis, please email foster@friendsofdacc.org with subject line “Pollicis A177479”Meet all of our adoptable pets on our website friendsofdacc.org/adoptThere is a suggested donation of $100 for our dogs, and $40 for cats payable by cash, check or through paypal at the time of the adoption.

Story
Ever wonder if it is even possible for show stopping beauty, an amazing brain, AND a five-star winning personality to come in the same package?! Lucky for you — they do for this sweet girl! Juniper is a treasure of a dog, waiting for her forever home. Just look at those beautiful, bright amber eyes and freckled nose. Juniper is a gorgeous girl and a perfect medium size. She always upbeat and carries a smile on her face. Besides her looks, Juniper is also a very smart, trainable girl. The sky is the limit for her. She’s eager to learn. She’s also pretty athletic so she would be a great running companion. Or maybe you’ve always wanted to try dog sports like agility. Juniper would be perfect! And best of all, Juniper has a very sweet disposition with every person she meets. She craves attention from her people and will be a loyal companion for years to come! She would be perfectly content being an only dog or possibly one other canine companion that suits her fancy. She's doggy selective, and would need a little time to warm up to a new BFF once they know she's in charge of the playtime antics. Juniper is a year or two old, 40-45 lb. This animal is being fostered in the South but transport to a location near you is included in your adoption fee. We use Rescue Riders Pet Transport, (www.rescueridersllc.net), the most animal-friendly transport on the road.

Livvy is a 6-month-old Australian Shepherd with a soft heart and a playful spirit. With a patient, loving family who can give her the time and encouragement she needs to build confidence, Livvy will blossom into a loyal, affectionate companion.Livvy does well with other pets and would love a friendly dog buddy to help show her the world isn’t so scary. Story
Mr Judge He’s a very active and highly intelligent dude.If you need a frisbee type dog he is perfect. He went from the crazy dog at the intake facility to the perfect foster dog.Granted he can jump up and check the top of the refrigerator for you if need be.But he also sleeps at my feet as he is now as I’m writing this. He isn’t afraid of storms or bothered by being left alone,He doesn’t chew up household items or potty in the house.Does great with a dozens puppies, a cat and his dozen foster roommates.Walks great and would hike for miles. No way suited for apartments or a no fence yard.Nor would he thrive in a lazy environment or with non active households. He’s great with kids.Great with sign language commands and would make an awesome service dog, And would be equally as great on a farm or with multiple animals.FOCCAS is a foster based, non-profit rescue in Crossville, TN.
