Story
Luke is a gentle, loving boy with a calm and quiet nature. He enjoys playing catch and is perfectly content entertaining himself with a ball. He’s very attentive, eager to please, and impressively easy to train—he picked up kennel training in just two days. Luke is affectionate and loves to give hugs, always looking to his people for reassurance and connection. He can be timid around other dogs, likely due to past experiences as a stray; when he was found, he had bite marks and a wound on his leg, all of which have since healed. Despite everything he’s been through, Luke’s gratitude for being rescued shines through in everything he does. He’s eager to learn, eager to love, and would make a wonderful companion. Luke does well with cats and children and is ready to find a safe, patient home where he can truly thrive. 💛

Story
Meet Oracle! 💫 Oracle is a 3-year-old, 22-pound Border Collie/Chihuahua mix with the sweetest little soul. She’s even smaller and shorter than she looks in pictures, which somehow makes her extra adorable in person! This cuddly girl loves being close to her comfort person and will happily stick by your side once she feels safe. Oracle can be a little shy at first, but she’s very submissive, gentle, and friendly, and she warms up with patience and love. She’s been indifferent with other dogs so far — not aggressive at all, just not super playful yet — and she seems potty trained, which is always a huge bonus. And if you want to win her heart quickly… belly rubs are the secret ingredient! 🥰 Oracle would thrive in a home where she can get lots of attention, love, and reassurance — and in return, she’ll be your loyal little shadow.

✨ Mama Eve is accepting applications & ready for meet and greets! ✨ *She looks big in photos but she is only about 20lbs* Eve is the proud mama to Midnight and Joy, and while her babies are still growing (they’re 5 weeks old), Eve herself will be ready to go home in about 3–4 weeks once they’re a little more independent. She can go home the week of the February 7th when her puppies are 9 weeks old Here’s what you need to know about this amazing girl 👇 🐶 About Eve: • Estimated age: 1–1.5 years old • Potty trained & crate trained • Full of spunk, personality, and love • Still has lots of puppy energy in the best way • Loves her people and wants to be involved when you’re home • Sleeps great in a crate when away from her puppies • LOVES playing fetch—and actually brings it back! 🎾 🏡 Home needs: • NO fenced yard required • Must be leash-walked or supervised in fenced area at all times outside • She can jump a fence, but won’t if someone is watching 🩺 Spay info: Eve’s spay appointment is scheduled for February 17th in Florissant. If she is adopted before then, her adopter must be able to bring her to that appointment. Eve does have some seperation anxiety when outside, she goes right out and does her business but wants to come in immediately after if you’r not with her Eve is truly the best mix of playful, affectionate, and fun—and she’s more than ready to find a home of her very own once her mama duties are done. 💕 📩 Applications are now open! Apply Here: https://www.shelterluv.com/matchme/adopt/LKR/Dog Meet and greets can be scheduled for approved applicants. Let’s get this sweet mama the forever home she deserves! 🐾✨

Story
Debuting Today: Get your application in quickly for this amazing girl. Libby, Libster, Libby Lou Libby is the best girl. If she has a fault, it's she just loves to run and play ball, all day. Saved from being euthanized at a rural pound, for having demodectic mange, Libby is 100% healthy and seeking her Furever home. We have no idea what breed she is, other than striking.. Libby is about 2 yrs old 65lbs, spayed, chipped and all vaccines are current, she is housebroken. Libby would love to have a playmate, she is dog, cat and kid friendly. An active family to hike and walk would be a dream come true for her. She does require a secure fenced yard, as she is an explorer. Libby can clear a 4' fence and can climb a 6' chain link. She would make a wonderful agility dog, with time and training. If you're in the market for a loving, loyal and unique companion Libby is your girl. Story
Rooster is your classic happy puppy with a big personality and an even bigger sense of adventure. He’s currently being crate trained and doing well, especially for a curious little guy who just wants to see everything. He’s great with other dogs and does well with cats too—though he’s definitely curious about them and likes to investigate. Rooster absolutely loves to play, zoom around the yard with epic zoomies, and explore every nook and corner he can find. If there’s something new out there, Rooster wants to check it out… which sometimes leads to a little puppy mischief 😄 He’s playful, fun, and full of life—the kind of puppy who will keep you laughing and smiling every day. With continued guidance, structure, and love, Rooster is going to grow into an amazing companion. Rooster is looking for a family ready for puppy energy, adventures, and lots of fun. 🐾💙 Local adoption fee is $250(in TX) Out of state adoption fee is $550 (includes transport your area)

Story
Unfortunately, we need to surrender our 3-year-old Blue Australian Cattle Dog, Bandit. He has behavioral issues that we can not address. He has food aggression, resource guarding, fear aggression, and kennel aggression. He has bitten us multiple times in the past. He is very wary of people and will nip. He is wary of other dogs and is okay with cats.
