Debuting Today: Get your application in quickly for this amazing girl. Libby, Libster, Libby Lou Libby is the best girl. If she has a fault, it's she just loves to run and play ball, all day. Saved from being euthanized at a rural pound, for having demodectic mange, Libby is 100% healthy and seeking her Furever home. We have no idea what breed she is, other than striking.. Libby is about 2 yrs old 55lbs, spayed, chipped and all vaccines are current, she is housebroken. Libby would love to have a playmate, she is dog, cat and kid friendly. An active family to hike and walk would be a dream come true for her. She does require a secure fenced yard, as she is an explorer. If you're in the market for a loving, loyal and unique companion Libby is your girl. Adoption Application https://airtable.com/shrSbfFkCdeRMtZw2

Story
Shadow is a very good boy. He was subdued when he first got here which is normal, but he has blossomed. The vet estimates his age between 4 and 5 and his breed to be a lab/heeler mix. Shadow gets along with my other dogs, and I have cats as well. He didn’t pay any attention to the cats at first but now that he’s settled in and feeling comfortable, he seems to be more interested in them. He gets very excited when we get up in the morning and has tried to mix it up with one of our cats that sleeps in our room at night. He chases the others when they run past like the rest of my dogs. I don’t know that he would hurt any of my cats but may want to consider a home without cats to be safe. He does let you know when he wants to go outside by making a cute whine/squeak sound and when he’s ready to come in by scratching on the door. We have had a couple of accidents but nothing major. He is loved here and will be missed when he finds his furever home. He’s going to make someone a wonderful addition to their family. Thank you. Story
Turkey is a beautiful border collie/heeler mix who's about 50lbs but expected to get up to 60lbs+. He's a very active dog and would do best in an active household. He loves his dog siblings but is very iffy about the cats. His foster family was hoping for him to be a foster fail but realized they aren't able to provide him a perfect home so they will be extremely picky on who he goes to. He would do best with someone who has experience with both border collies and heelers as he's a perfect mix of both. He's very loving and loves to cuddle but only for a couple minutes. He loves playing fetch outside and playing in the kiddie pool. He's working on his leash manners but his fosters have found that what works best is letting him hold a part of the leash in his mouth while they walk him to keep him from jumping and pulling. His fosters would prefer him go to a home that had a 6ft fence or a fence with coyote rollers as he likes to jump fences. They would also like for him to go to a home where he'd be worked, whether it be herding or a sport like agility. He's super high energy and loves to run and play, but also knows that it's time to calm down when he's in his kennel. He's potty trained and kennel trained, however he does have an excited/submissive pee sometimes. His fosters don't want him going to a home that will make him a couch potato. Story
Meet Cleo! She’s very friendly and well behaved. She’s potty trained and listens very well—she knows sit and stay. She’s playful and loves other dogs. She’s an indoor dog, but she loves the outdoors. Cleo is 2.5 years old and weighs 32 pounds. She’s a border collie mixed with a scruffy terrier, so she’s very smart and active.IMPORTANT: Please read all below, especially if you live outside of Texas, which is where our rescue is located.Apply to adopt on our website: https://www.charmingpetrescue.org/adoptAll of our animals are spayed/neutered, microchipped, and up to date on shots.ALL of our animals are located in Boerne, TX, but transport after adoption is available to other states for a $300 fee for dogs or an additional fee varying by location for cats. If you are seeing our pets posted in your state, that's because you live near a transport stop, they are not currently at that location. Petfinder lists our pets as ''Out of Town'' pets at other locations, and Adopt-a-Pet lists our location as a Transport stop. Those are currently the only options they offer to make this clear, so we put this description we've put at the bottom to explain it. You can read more about transport here: www.charmingpetrescue.org/transportWe understand transport is not an option for everyone, but we offer it at the cost we pay the transport company for those who wish to adopt from us.October 3, 2023, 3:37 pm

Kage is a good boy, and just SO cute ;) He is a gentleman in the house, fully potty trained and leash/ harness trained. He gets along great with other dogs and enjoys playing in the backyard with his buds... Kage is a gorgeous lab/border collie mix, the perfect combination of smarts and drive with the family-ness of a lab. He is a great size as well- kind of a mini lab or slightly larger border collie! When you have two great things that go great together, you CELEBRATE!! He is that combo, so you can celebrate by actually adopting him into a fantastic home! He has such a sweet temperament, great with everyone he meets. He does not do well with storms but can be managed, he loves his people and is best if they are around alot. His foster mom just loves him and has gotten him as prepared for his family as she can, now it is up to you! ADOPT, DON'T SHOP!!!!! His LIFE DEPENDS ON IT!!! Local adoption fee $200 (in TX) Out of state adoption fee is $400 (includes transport to your area)

Carter is good in the house. He is potty trained and loves loves loves to sleep with his foster mom. He is looking for a home that is ready for Love and snuggles. He is full grown and just the perfect size dog! Carter if left unattended can get bored. He has been known to chew a few things and dig if he gets bored. He also needs to be kept a close eye on when it comes to the front door as Mr. Carter has been known to run a time or two at the door. It's a simple fix with baby gates and training to prevent him from this is the future! Local adoption fee $200 (in TX) Out of state adoption fee is $450 (includes transport to your area)
