Story
Collins is a stunning 36 lbs blue heeler. No, we haven't done a DNA test, but it's pretty obvious he is a heeler. Collins is a little over 1 year old. Our cute boy got to stay with a foster family while the kennel was getting painted and they said he was super smart!!! He learns tricks very fast and loves doing food puzzles and other brain games. He likes toys, especially ropes and balls. We definitely see a possible Frisbee dog in the making! He is really cuddly and sweet and loves belly rubs. Collins is great on leash and can bark at some dogs on the leash, but is easily redirected by calling his name and keep walking. He got along fine with his foster beagle bro.Collins is a really good boy whos down for chilling with you or going to the park and doing some training. If you would like to meet this very handsome and smart boy, apply at www.caninecollective.org

Story
Murphy is an energetic dog who will be 1 on 8/31. She has no breed paperwork, but has been to the vet and has been spayed. We got her to be friends with our other dog, but there are times that they really don’t get along and I think it would be best to find a new home for her. She is somewhat house trained but does have accidents sometimes. She loves to chew and we have made sure that she has plenty of chew bones available. She is high energy and has been great with our elementary age children.

Story
Hello there!! . I'm a Heeler/Terrier mix, still exploring this big world. Everything is new to me. I'm curious about every sound, every smell, and every sight. But I'm a little shy too. I like to observe from a safe distance before I approach. I love to play and learn. I'm quick to pick up on things, but I need someone patient to guide me. I promise, I'll be your best friend, your loyal companion. I just need a home where I can grow, learn, and love. Won't you consider adopting me? I promise to fill your life with joy and puppy kisses. 8 Weeks old, spayed and neutered, current on vaccinations, dewormed, flea treated, on heartworm prevention and microchipped, adoption donation is $100.These are abandoned street animals or unplanned litters, some of older age, and many with a shy temperament. Their prior history is sometimes unknown. We make every effort to check the basic health and personality of each animal.CAT:Every adoptable cat is currently vaccinated (FVRCPP), vaccinated for rabies (if 16 weeks or older), spayed/neutered, treated for worms, treated for fleas, micro-chipped and started on ear mite treatment (if required).DOG:Each adoptable dog/puppy is currently vaccinated (DHPP), vaccinated for rabies (if older than 16 weeks), treated for worms, treated for fleas, spayed/neutered, tested for heartworm (if over 6 months of age), micro-chipped and started on ear mite treatment (if required).Upon adoption you will be given a health record to take to your veterinarian. Adoption fees are typically $90.00 for kittens, $50 for cats and $300 for dogs/puppies unless otherwise stated. We accept cash or debit/ credit card only! These fees are subject to fluctuation, if deemed necessary, depending on season, amount of adoptable animals in our program, and/or breed of animal. The adoption fees help us recover a small portion of the money that we spend on these animals. Thank you so much for your interest in a shelter pet!!!
