New situations can make her a little timid at first, but beneath that uncertainty is an incredibly sweet girl who loves her people.Like many Border Collies, Trickie thrives when she has both physical exercise and mental stimulation. She would love an active family that enjoys walking, hiking, running, playing fetch, or simply spending time outdoors together. Story
Hi, Im new here. My name is Brody. I am about a young border collie. I am super smart and love to play. My foster family has 3 giant dogs, 2 great danes and an English lab. I get along great with every one of them and have since the minute I came to their house and got to meet them. My foster family even has a cat, who I am absolutely fine with, but I dont think he likes me much since he hisses at me everytime I want to say hi. I love attention and would love to find my new forever home. I am so smart. I know basic commands and am learning more ever day. I would love for my forever home to have another dog I could play with because I do like to a stay busy. I am neutered, utd on my vaccines. I am comoletely house trained, I dont wanna brag but I havent had any accidents and I go to the door every time I want to go out, and Im crate trained. What more could you want. Im the perfect pup.

To make the adoption process faster and easier, please visit www.almosthomeohio.org and complete our online application!Todd is a 2 yr old Border Collie mix and new to our rescue.  Todd will welcome you with a BIG “hello!” This goofy guy is overjoyed when he meets people, jumping to greet them and zooming around! Todd is an active pup who loves to socialize with humans and has the kind of personality that makes him a great companion for adventures big and small. With all that energy, he would likely do best with regular exercise. He can also be a total cuddlebug and loves his daily snuggles.   His enthusiasm abounds! Todd has eagerly made some canine friends and brings the same over-the-top enthusiasm to playtime. He loves the outdoors, rolling around in the grass and running around. Due to his playful energy, he would likely do best in a home with another active dog who can handle his lively personality. A fenced-in yard would be a bonus for this fun-loving guy.   Todd’s foster family says he’s eager to learn and ready to please. Motivated by treats, he’s already mastered “sit” and “down,” and he’s improving on leash walking. This black-and-white sweetie will put a smile on your face and will be a loyal, loving companion in his forever home.  Dont forget to visit our informative website, www.almosthomeohio.org, for valuable information and interesting features.June 19, 2026, 4:10 pm

Story
Hey there, I'm Van. I am a 55 pound border collie lab mix, and about a year and a half old. I'm a pretty big guy and still have lots of puppy energy, but I am calming down a bit! I am very sweet and great with everyone. I love kids but because I am big and energetic, I probably shouldn't live with small children. I also love to learn so I would be a great dog for someone wanting to do agility, sports or even running with me. Hurry up and apply for me. I look forward to meeting you! Every PAWS dog is loved, vetted, and ready for a fresh start March 8, 2026, 11:18 pm

Story
Ranger is a loving, energetic dog who brings lots of joy and personality wherever he goes. He loves to play, cuddle, and spend time with his people. He gets along well with other dogs and would do great either as a solo pet soaking up all the attention or with another canine companion to play with. We are looking to rehome Ranger because our family recently added livestock to our mini farm, and unfortunately he does not do well around goats, chickens, or large open acreage. Ranger would thrive much more in a home with a fenced-in backyard where he can safely run, play, and relax. He is a sweet boy with a big heart and lots of love to give, and we want to find him a home where he can truly be successful and happy.

Story
Fenrir is a very sweet ~9 year old puppy who loves snuggles and attention. He has been a part of our family for nearly a decade but due to a recent move and allergies in the home we are looking to re-home him. He is very smart, trainable, and loving - but has minimal socializing with other dogs so he leads by barking. Despite a loud bark, he's never been aggressive towards other dogs. He does well with cats and kids. He loves to run free in a fenced in backyard but also does well on a leash. A small quirk is that he HATES trains. We moved near train tracks and he will bark/howl through the night if he hears one (and with those ears he hears EVERYTHING). We also have allergies in the house and he requires a lot of grooming upkeep due to his coat. He is a very good boy and it was with a heavy heart we made this decision. Please reach out with any questions.
