Story
Hi, Im new here. My name is Brody. I am about a young border collie. I am super smart and love to play. My foster family has 3 giant dogs, 2 great danes and an English lab. I get along great with every one of them and have since the minute I came to their house and got to meet them. My foster family even has a cat, who I am absolutely fine with, but I dont think he likes me much since he hisses at me everytime I want to say hi. I love attention and would love to find my new forever home. I am so smart. I know basic commands and am learning more ever day. I would love for my forever home to have another dog I could play with because I do like to a stay busy. I am neutered, utd on my vaccines. I am comoletely house trained, I dont wanna brag but I havent had any accidents and I go to the door every time I want to go out, and Im crate trained. What more could you want. Im the perfect pup.

Story
I'm a sweet, goofy pup with a pretty cute face (or so I've been told). I love treats, attention, and being close to my favorite people. When you walk in the door, I'll greet you with a big tail wag and my best little smile. Sometimes I get so excited I do a few zoomies around the room-then I'm ready to come back for pets and cuddles. If you like happy greetings, cute smiles, and a dog who's always excited to see you, I think we'll get along just fine.

Story
Space is a 9 month old medium size dog. She loves other dogs and has done well with cats. Space needs a special adopter that will give her time to realize people aren’t so scary. She has made a TON of progress at her foster home but is still very timid at times. She gets SO excited to see you after work but still only wants to be pet on her own terms. She will do best in a home with no children, another dog to help build her confidence, and her own yard, as she is not leash trained. She is very fearful of the leash, leading us to believe she may have had a traumatic experience involving a leash before coming to HART. This dog absolutely loves to be comfy. All she wants is a comfortable bed or to curl up by your feet on the couch. If you’re looking for a playmate for your dog that does not beg for constant attention or a friend to keep your dog busy while you’re at work, Space could be a great choice for you. If interested in meeting Space please fill out an application at www.rescueahart.org!

Hiya! My name is Prudence. I am a sweet girl who loves scratches from you. I do have a flea allergy which is easy to treat. I just need that extra tlc. I do know how to sit and get a treat, but I also love squeaky toys like crazy. I will cry if you don't give me the toy. I should be fine around other dogs. I do need to see if I like cats or kids. I am sweet. Give me that chance to give you love.To adopt one of our animals, please visit our shelter, open Tuesday-Friday from Noon-5pm and Saturday from Noon-4pm. Story
Meet Pip! Pip is a handsome three-year-old, 60-pound boy who was rescued from a high-intake rural shelter and is now settling into foster care. While he’s still new to his foster home, he has already shown what a sweet and affectionate dog he is. Pip has been doing well going to the restroom outside and enjoys exploring a fenced yard. He will also walk on a leash as his foster family continues learning his routine and helping him settle into a new schedule. At the shelter, Pip did amazing in playgroups and showed he is social and comfortable with dogs of all sizes. In foster care, he has also done well meeting both a fellow foster Boxer and the resident Jack Russell. Like many dogs coming from a shelter environment, Pip may need a day or two to settle into a new home and learn the routine. Giving him a little time to decompress, keeping a consistent schedule, and offering gentle reassurance will help him feel comfortable. Once he settles in, his affectionate and goofy personality really shines. Pip absolutely loves being close to his people. He’ll happily curl up beside you for pets, gently rest his head on your shoulder, and is very generous with sweet kisses. If you’re looking for a loyal companion who just wants to be near you, Pip may be your perfect match. Pip is ready to leave shelter life behind and start his next chapter with a family of his own. Pip tested positive for Lyme disease. He is currently healthy and receiving any necessary care under the guidance of his veterinarian. Being Lyme positive doesn’t stop him from enjoying walks, playtime, or cuddles—he can live a full, happy life with proper care. Pip is currently fostered in the Cincinnati, Ohio area. His adoption fee is $275.00. To adopt this animal, please visit https://www.louieslegacy.org/adopt All of our animals come spayed or neutered, up to date on age appropriate vaccinations, are microchipped, heartworm negative, current on flea/tick and heartworm prevention, dewormed, and treated for any ailments found upon veterinary examination. The adoption fee covers a portion of these services, and makes it possible for us to continue rescuing animals. For more information on the adoption fees and the adoption process, please complete our adoption application here: https://www.louieslegacy.org/adopt - an application allows us to get to know your family better so we can assess whether the animal you are interested in is a good match for your home. An application does not obligate you to adopt. Please understand that due to the volume of applications some animals receive, we are unable to contact all applicants. If your application is considered a good fit for the animal you are interested in, or even a different pet, a volunteer will give you a call as soon as possible. We are a foster based rescue and do not have a shelter location where animals can be seen during the week. Please see our Facebook page at https://www.facebook.com/LouiesLegacy for our weekly adoption album if you are interested in meeting an animal in person. Not all animals attend every adoption event, please check our Facebook page for animal event times and locations before you make a trip to meet a specific animal.

Story
WE ARE A TX-BASED RESCUE. THIS DOG IS CURRENTLY LOCATED IN TX AND WILL BE TRANSPORTED UPON ADOPTION. Please fill out an adoption application at haydudeequine.org Meet Joker 🐾 Don’t let the name fool you — Joker is all heart. This 10-week-old Border Collie × Australian Cattle Dog mix is a gentle, sensitive little guy with a soft, soulful personality. He’s much more “thoughtful collie” than “rowdy heeler,” preferring connection and cuddles over chaos. Joker can be a tiny bit shy when meeting new people, but once he feels safe, his sweet nature really shines. He warms up quickly and becomes your quiet little shadow, happily following you around and soaking up every bit of affection. He’s the kind of puppy who looks at you like you’re his whole world. He’s smart, observant, and eager to learn — classic border collie brain — and would thrive in a calm, loving home that helps him build confidence and gives him lots of reassurance and snuggles. He enjoys playtime and exploring, but his overall energy is gentle and easygoing. We expect him to be around 35 lbs full grown, making him the perfect size for both adventures and couch time. If you’re looking for a loyal, tender-hearted best friend who will bond deeply and stick by your side, Joker is ready to be your little sidekick. 🤍 👉 Apply today at haydudeequine.org and give this deserving lil fella the forever home he’s been waiting for 💛🐾
