Space is a 9 month old medium size dog. She loves other dogs and has done well with cats. Space needs a special adopter that will give her time to realize people aren’t so scary. She has made a TON of progress at her foster home but is still very timid at times. She gets SO excited to see you after work but still only wants to be pet on her own terms. She will do best in a home with no children, another dog to help build her confidence, and her own yard, as she is not leash trained. She is very fearful of the leash, leading us to believe she may have had a traumatic experience involving a leash before coming to HART. This dog absolutely loves to be comfy. All she wants is a comfortable bed or to curl up by your feet on the couch. If you’re looking for a playmate for your dog that does not beg for constant attention or a friend to keep your dog busy while you’re at work, Space could be a great choice for you. Jasper will be 1 in April 2026 and was adopted privately from Troy Ohio at 3 months Mother was Aussie/ Pit , father was all Aussie. Crate trained, rarely barks, has been socialized with 3 cats, parrot, and chihuahua and baby/ toddler. Has had fenced backyard and just needs more home space and attention and exercise than we can give. Very loving and just wants love and does need some training with walks. With toddler- just difficult to give him attention he needs. Hope to find him a loving home. Neutered and shots up to date through March 2026. This is my daughter’s dog, and I would take him in a minute if I was younger and had a fenced yard and had more space in my small condo. He just wants lots of love. He is a good dog and hope to find him a forever home. He would be great companion for another dog as well. Large crate included in adoption fee
