At 9 years young, Cleo is past the wild puppy stage but still has plenty of energy to enjoy walks, sunshine, and time outside. Her favorite place, though, is right by your side. She’s the kind of loyal girl who sticks close to her people and is just as happy hanging out with you as she is exploring the yard.  Cleo is sweet, affectionate, great with other dogs, and the perfect mix of playful and relaxed. She’s ready for a family who will give her the love and security she deserves for the rest of her years.  Kennel license #18956, Breinigsville, PA ##2458145##

Story
Meet Remus. Remus is a purebred border collie that was bred from both Merle parents. Unfortunately, he is blind and deaf. Remus is very friendly and full of puppy energy. He will do best in a home that has done research on dogs with these disabilities. He will need to stay on a leash or will probably do best with a fenced-in yard. He does well with the other dogs in his foster home. He is also fostered with cats and does well with them. Housebreaking is a work in progress but he is doing well with crate training. We were told his date of birth was around the middle of May 2026. He has a lot of growing to do yet, while he loves to be snuggled and held, he will probably grow to be about 50-60 lbs. Remus is now neutered and up to date with vaccines for his age as well as microchipped. He is on flea, tick and heartworm prevention. His adoption fee is $300.00. If you are interested in adopting Remus, please visit our website www.lharinc.org go to Adopt and complete the dog adoption application.  Logan's Heroes Animal Rescue 9411 Kings Highway,  East Greenville, PA 18041 Pennsylvania Kennel License #13036  ##2806705##

Story
Meet Fern! Some dogs are simply waiting for a family. Fern is waiting for her people—the ones she'll happily follow through every adventure life has to offer.Fern is an 8-month-old Border Collie mix, born around the middle of November 2025, and currently weighs 29 pounds. She'll likely mature to around 40 pounds—the perfect size for hiking trails, road trips, neighborhood walks, and curling up at your feet after a day well spent.Fern and her identical sister were adopted together as tiny 6-week-old puppies. Unfortunately, their family realized they couldn't give the girls the time, attention, and exercise they deserve. Now Fern is searching for the forever home she's always deserved. This beautiful black-and-white girl has a sweet, easygoing personality and is happiest when she's included in whatever her people are doing. She loves children, enjoys the company of other dogs, and is always ready for a new adventure. She hasn't met cats yet, though she and her sister have been known to chase chickens—something that may disappear once she's no longer teaming up with her mischievous sibling!Like many Border Collie mixes, Fern is happiest when both her body and her mind are engaged. She'll thrive with daily walks, backyard games, hiking adventures, or even dog sports like agility, flyball, or dock diving. She doesn't need a perfect life—just one where she's loved, included, and given opportunities to learn and explore.Imagine having a loyal companion who's waiting by the door when it's time for a walk, riding shotgun on weekend adventures, making your kids laugh in the backyard, and greeting you with a wagging tail after every workday. That's the life Fern is hoping for—and the life she's ready to give back with endless love and devotion. If you're looking for a best friend to share life's adventures, Fern may be the missing piece you've been searching for.To learn more or request an adoption application, email ccrtennessee@gmail.com and be sure to include your city and state. Story
Richie ' Sambora ' is what this Border Collie mix puppy should be called because he is so handsome and extra charming.  Born around April 1st, 5 months ago from 9/1, his mom was a 40 pound girl with 4 puppies who were all left outside in the harsh heat while their owner went on vacation.  No food, no water was left behind.  Soon Animal Control was there to take the sweet dogs in to the shelter for relief and care. Richie is 25 pounds and a very special boy.  He has very special eye coloring that gives him two different colored eyes that make him absolutely unforgettable.  This boy Richie has already figured out that those beautiful eyes have a way of melting hearts.  Look out ladies, this handsome boy knows exactly how to turn on the charm and if he played guitar like Sambora does with Bon Jovi, he would be dangerous. But underneath those gorgeous eyes is a sweet puppy who is learning that humans can be trusted and that life can be pretty wonderful.   He is almost housebroken, crate training is successful and he is good with all other dogs and cats as well.   We expect him to the same weight range as his momma, 40 pounds.  He is happy and curious and playful.  Working on his leash skills and he has had a great deal of guidance from his foster persons that have helped him the past few weeks.  If you would like to adopt this happy young pup please write to Critter Cavalry Rescue at ccrtennessee@gmail.com  Mention where you live.  A fence would be an ideal situation for this boy to run free and with total safety to hang outside for hours.     PLEASE NOTE:  Our dogs are transported from Tennessee to meeting places in the states where we have posted.  Further information about us is given on our Adopt-A-Pet site.  The adoption fees vary and will be provided as well as noted on the application you receive.  Contact us at 615-661-5333 or ccrnewengland@gmail.comSeptember 6, 2026, 9:25 pm

Story
Meet Artsy Marcy – A Survivor with a Brilliant Mind and an Even Bigger Heart     Artsy Marcy is a beautiful Border Collie mix, around 2 years old and weighing 55–60 pounds. Her life began with unimaginable hardship, yet she has never let her past define her. It is believed that Marcy and her siblings were abandoned in a remote rural area of Tennessee. While trying to survive on their own, tragedy struck when they were hit by a train. Her sister did not survive, and Marcy was left with a severely dislocated hip. Thanks to a compassionate foster who refused to give up on her, Marcy received the surgery and care she desperately needed. Today she has only a slight limp—a small reminder of just how far she has come.     Marcy is everything you would expect from a Border Collie mix: incredibly intelligent, observant, athletic, and eager to be part of whatever her people are doing. She loves hiking, exploring, and would thrive in an active home where she can exercise both her body and her mind. She has a natural herding instinct and enjoys having a job or purpose.   She is wonderful with people and genuinely enjoys human companionship. While she may be a little shy during first introductions, she warms up quickly and forms strong, loyal bonds. Once she trusts you, she is affectionate, devoted, and eager to please.     Marcy has lived around cats, but she does have a prey drive, so any home with cats should be experienced and committed to proper introductions and management. She also does well with some dogs but can be selective about her canine companions. Like many intelligent, confident working breeds, she appreciates respectful introductions and clear leadership. She would do best with an adopter who understands Border Collie personalities and will provide consistent structure, training, and outlets for her energy.     Marcy isn't looking to be just another dog lying quietly in the corner. She is looking for someone who will appreciate her intelligence, celebrate her spirit, and give her the freedom to be the amazing Border Collie mix she was born to be.   Against all odds, this remarkable girl survived when she easily could have been another forgotten statistic. Now she deserves the happy ending she has fought so hard for.   If you'd like to learn more about Artsy Marcy or speak with the foster mom who saved her life, please contact Critter Cavalry Rescue at ccrtennessee@gmail.com.     Could you be the person who gives this extraordinary survivor the forever home she's been waiting for?       PLEASE NOTE:  Our dogs are transported from Tennessee to meeting places in the states where we have posted.  Further information about us is given on our Adopt-A-Pet site.  The adoption fees vary and will be provided as well as noted on the application you receive.  Contact us at 615-661-5333 or ccrnewengland@gmail.comSeptember 6, 2026, 9:25 pm
