Phoenix (20 months) is a classic Border Collie, royal with merle coat. Super playful, energetic, charming and good natured. We adopted him from his 1st owner 3 months ago (frequent work flights) and since had experienced lots of outdoors activity and socializing with other dogs. Phoenix is very submissive and fully trained. He is a real prince and our 2 y.o. feels very comfortable pulling on his ears and bossing him around. We decided to rehome him after an unfortunate event of redirected aggression towards a stranger, and we are concerned regarding our 2 y.o. We believe he needs a better match with an active family with older kids or an experienced owner.

Mandy! Meet Mandy - this sweet and polite lady is Mandy. She is a medium (approx 45-50ish lbs) mix who we think may be some sort of border collie/lab type mix and is around 1 yr old. Mandy was originally found as a stray in the south by a good samaritan. Although they already had a full house of dogs they could not resist helping Mandy and were able to connect with a rescue to get her to us. Mandy is great with other dogs. She is medium energy and seems to love all people. Mandy is good in a crate and working on housebreaking. She loves car rides, although needs a little encouragement to get in at first. She is spayed, vaccinated and will be microchipped prior to adoption. She is up to date on preventatives and vetting. Interested in Mandy? Adoption fee covers the food and equipment she will be given with. Fee is negotiable. Lulu has been in our family for years as she was my cousin’s dog since she was a puppy. For as long as I knew her, she has always been a teddy bear and a very loving dog. She performs at the sight of any human with excited tippy taps and loves to be engaged with on a regular basis. She is a very smart dog, completing puzzles and knows a range of commands. She is food motivated as well so getting her training with treats is a breeze. She hasn’t had any formal training so some things don’t come as natural to her but I have been working with her all this year on a couple of the things. Although she has made a huge improvement on this since I have been with her, she will pee in excitement on occasion. I haven’t seen her act adversely to any human yet but she is still getting used to socializing with other dogs. She used to live with a small dog before this year and 3 cats.

Meet Buzz: Buzz is a 11 week old (as of June 21, 2024) heeler / cattle dog mix (best guess) that weighs about 10 pounds. This little litter of 4 (Birdie, Bama, Buzz and Bonnie) was picked up by an animal shelter director. The previous owner let them loose at the end of his property and the police were called. They relayed to the man that he needed to keep them secure, so he put the 4 of them into a small wire cage outside. The rescuer heard of this and went to the property. She asked if she could take the pups and the owner said “fine”. We are thankful that we have these cuties in a safe environment and are committed to finding them loving homes. Buzz is currently being fostered in Washington Boro, PA would love to meet his forever family! Buzz is your typical happy, curious, playful, loving pup! As a puppy, Buzz will need some patience while he works on his house training. We would love for Buzz to have a home with a fenced in yard for him to run and play freely!
