He loves his people and would very much like to be involved in everything they do. Walks? Yes! Toys? Absolutely! Playing with other dogs? His favorite! He’s also done well meeting dog-savvy cats.Griffin is still building his confidence and learning all about life in a home. Until now, he spent his days in a pen at a breeding kennel, waiting for someone to buy him, so this whole “being a dog in a house” thing is brand new. He’s working on his training and proving to be incredibly smart, but he’ll need a patient family willing to help him blossom.With his Border Collie/Aussie brain, we suspect Griffin may eventually decide he needs an important job. What that job is, exactly, remains to be determined—perhaps toy inspector, professional sofa tester, or future canine genius. An active family who will give him plenty of exercise, enrichment, training, and love would be his dream.Griffin has spent enough time waiting. KENNEL ID #18804Sidney and his sister Cookie were rescued from a high-kill shelter in Greene County, TN, where overcrowding forces heartbreaking decisions every day. Some were strays never reclaimed. Others were surrendered by their families — and sadly, owner surrenders are the first to be euthanized, as they receive no stray hold. Thankfully, our rescue partner in Tennessee stepped in just in time, saving 15 incredible dogs from the “last call” list.
