FOREVER HOME NEEDED Meet Diesel! Diesel is a 4-year-old, 37 lb French Bulldog who came to us as a stray from an overcrowded shelter. He is a sweet, happy, bouncy boy with a sturdy little build and plenty of personality! Diesel loves going for walks with his people and walks well on leash. He is eager to please, especially when treats are involved, and he does well with other dogs. He wouldn’t mind having a canine companion in his new home, preferably another dog his size or larger. Diesel can be a little mouthy when he gets excited and likes to nibble on his people. He can be a bit hard-mouthed with this behavior, so he’ll need a family that is willing to continue working on appropriate manners and help him learn how to channel his excitement. We’re looking for a home with French Bulldog or similar breed experience that understands the unique needs and potential medical expenses that can come with the breed. Because Diesel can be bouncy, strong, and mouthy when excited, we recommend a home without young children. Diesel is a fun, affectionate guy who loves his people, enjoys getting out for walks, and is ready to find a family who will appreciate his big personality in a compact package! Diesel is UTD on vaccinations, microchipped, and neutered. His adoption fee is $650.

Alaska is a little girl who came running to the shelter to hide, we assume she was scared after being run over. At first glance we saw that she had a fracture in her hind leg, her first visit to the vet was to prepare her for an amputation, since her leg was beyond repair. After her recovery, she began to prepare to find her new home, currently she already has her vaccinations up to date, she is spayed and ready. She is a very pampered dog, like a big girl, waiting for love, affection and lots of cuddles, she likes to go for walks, eager to see new places, always happy, following you everywhere. She is very curious, elated to see you, and such an adorable, smart little girl. The fact that she is missing her leg does not stop her, she runs, plays and can even jump, she has adapted quite well to her new life. She is still a puppy, she will barely be a year old, she will not grow any more, she is medium, around 28 pounds. The $550.00 adoption fee covers the following: Transport to Oregon or Washington. Spay/Neuter. All vaccines up to date. Deworming (puppies 2 sets). Flea medication up to date. Tick control up to date. Microchip. Microchip registration to new owner paid for. Collar. Missy is high energy and would thrive with an active family who can give her plenty of exercise, playtime, and attention. She loves her toys, enjoys carrying them around, and walks well on leash, although she can pull and is quite strong. She is mostly potty trained and may have a few accidents while learning a new routine. She can also get excited and jump up when greeting people, so she'll need someone willing to continue working on her manners. MEET FRANCO, an adorable but scared 2-year-old French Bulldog/possibly Basenji or Shepherd mix in need of a foster or forever home. Franco is currently housed with his sister Brie, who looks a lot like him and is also scared. They can be adopted separately or apart. They weigh about 35 lbs each. (Their paperwork may say shepherd mix but they both have Frenchie ears.) Both of them are timid/scared of new people, so they need adopters who can be patient and let them come out of their shells and bond to you. Franco is cute as a button and a wonderful medium size. Meet Brody! He was found as a stray in Connell (Eastern WA) by the police and brought into our rescue. We're hoping to find a foster or adoptive home for him very soon. We're still getting to know Brody, but he's got a lot of personality in that little package. He's not a shy guy and is a happy little dude when he's around people he knows. He also has done well meeting other dogs. Brody can be a little sassy, though, so someone with some dog experience would be helpful. He responds well to a human who leads and seems happy with some boundaries. We are not sure of his exact breed mix - he's a bit of a mystery. His head and compactness says Frenchie while there also seems to be some Chihuahua and perhaps some other breeds in there. He's 100% cute, though! Welcome Daisy to CCPAL foster program. Daisy is a 4-year Frenchie (French Bulldog). She has been a breeder dog and the breeder is no longer going to use her so she is now looking for her forever home. This awful in our eyes, but we are happy to find Daisy a real forever home where she can be loved and cherished and doted on. She is a wonderful dog. She is good with other dogs, potty trained, not too active, not too vocal and does good with children. She is getting her spay surgery with CCPAL. She is current on vaccinations and will also get her heartworm test. She has lived in a house so she knows the rules and structure of living with a family. She is beautiful inside and out and we cannot believe anyone could give up a dog this fantastic. We would love someone that knows this breed. She has the shortened nose so this breed cannot tolerate heat well. Anyone that has had a Frenchie knows this. She would be fine with a moderately active family. She can go with children as well. We like them to be 8 or older. She is currently in Texas and can be adopted locally. We can work with one of the wonderful transporter to help her get to Washington, Portland, Minnesota, Vermont or all along the East Coast. Her adoption fee is $600 and transport is $200.
