Story
Alaska is a little girl who came running to the shelter to hide, we assume she was scared after being run over. At first glance we saw that she had a fracture in her hind leg, her first visit to the vet was to prepare her for an amputation, since her leg was beyond repair. After her recovery, she began to prepare to find her new home, currently she already has her vaccinations up to date, she is spayed and ready. She is a very pampered dog, like a big girl, waiting for love, affection and lots of cuddles, she likes to go for walks, eager to see new places, always happy, following you everywhere. She is very curious, elated to see you, and such an adorable, smart little girl. The fact that she is missing her leg does not stop her, she runs, plays and can even jump, she has adapted quite well to her new life. She is still a puppy, she will barely be a year old, she will not grow any more, she is medium, around 28 pounds. The $550.00 adoption fee covers the following: Transport to Oregon or Washington. Spay/Neuter. All vaccines up to date. Deworming (puppies 2 sets). Flea medication up to date. Tick control up to date. Microchip. Microchip registration to new owner paid for. Collar. Temporary leash.

When their owners couldn’t keep the litter, they were surrendered to a shelter. Now, Lollipop is ready for her fresh start with a family who’s ready to love her for life. At just 4 months old, Lollipop is already an absolute dream of a puppy. She sleeps through the night, keeps her crate clean, and settles beautifully without whining or crying for attention. She’s not your typical chaotic, high-maintenance puppy—in fact, she’s been incredibly easygoing and low maintenance for her age. Lollipop is the definition of affectionate. She loves to snuggle, often burying her face right into your chest and melting into you. It’s her favorite place to be. She greets both humans and other dogs with happy tail wags, bringing a soft, gentle energy wherever she goes. Based on her parents’ size, we expect Lollipop to be around 20 pounds fully grown—the perfect size for just about any lifestyle. If you’re looking for a puppy who skips the chaos and leans more into calm companionship, cuddles, and sweetness, Lollipop might just be your perfect match.

Story
FOREVER HOME NEEDED Meet Brewer! Brewer is a 2-year-old, 30 lb French Bulldog mix who came to us from an overcrowded shelter after his owner could no longer care for him. This charming guy is full of personality and sure to keep you smiling! Brewer is sweet, spunky, goofy, and packed with character. He does well with other dogs, but he definitely prefers more laid-back, lower-energy companions. High-energy dogs aren’t really his style, and he can be a bit bossy at times, so he’ll do best either as an only dog with continued socialization or in a home with a calm, easygoing canine buddy. Brewer is treat-motivated, walks well on leash, and is overall a well-adjusted, easygoing guy. He enjoys getting out for walks and spending time with his people, but he’s not over-the-top demanding—just a good balance of fun and chill. If you’re looking for a goofy, lovable companion with a big personality and a preference for the simpler, more relaxed side of life, Brewer might just be your perfect match! Brewer is UTD on vaccinations, microchipped, and neutered. His adoption fee is $600.

Story
FOREVER HOME NEEDED (currently in foster care) Meet Biscuit, a 6.5 year-old Frenchie that her foster family affectionately calls "Grubs" . She's cute, short/small and a little pudgy ~ a big girl in small dog's body. She's pretty wrinkly and makes funny grumbling noises. You will not find a more affectionate bulldog! Gubs is originally from an overcrowded shelter in CA and has been a mamma before. Her eye was missing long before she arrived at our rescue, and the eye injury site is very stable and does not require any monitoring or maintenance. She's extremely affectionate and will want to crawl into your lap for cuddles and kisses. She's very cute and loves affection from people but will brawl with other dogs for affection. She's pretty good about food boundaries with other dogs. She is house-trained but can be lazy and will need supervision. She really like her potty-pad. Grubs is currently in a home with 3 other dogs, two little chihuahua mixes and an English Bulldog. She will compete for attention so her adopters will need to be careful to give her attention and affection at the right time. The foster's manage well in the household by not giving in to her triggers but we do think that she would do best as an only dog in the home. Grub will require a family who will keep her active (she loves to walk) and has brachycephalic dog ownership experience. She would do best as the only dog in the home but with regular access to other dogs so that she will remain well socialized. Grubs does well with other dogs as long as there is good leadership and monitoring. She likes her small foster sibling much more than her large english bulldog foster sibling She's has had a vet checkup. She was severely overweight at 42lb at her highest. She's down to about 25lbs. She's small framed for a Frenchie. She is spayed, microchipped and up to date on her vaccinations. Her adoption fee is $500.

Story
MEET FRANCO & BRIE, two adorable 1-year-old French Bulldog mixes in need of a forever home. These two are very bonded, and are likely brother and sister. They weigh about 30 lbs each. (Their paperwork may say shepherd mix but they both have Frenchie ears.) Both of them are timid/scared of new people, so they need adopters who can be patient and let them come out of their shells and bond to you. They are cute as a button and a wonderful size. They love to play together (email us for a video). If you can adopt this precious pair, please email for an application. They are both in California but can be transported to you in Washington.

Story
Doughnut is a French Bulldog puppy. He is just so cute, with the biggest pinkish ears! He is shy and sweet and he loves head scratches. Despite that he enjoys being near his person even though he is still a bit wary. Once he starts getting love he leans in to it and just wants more. His favorite toy is tennis ball. Does he like to play fetch or just chew on it? He likes to sleep in the living room on the couch or in his dog bed. Potty training has just started so it is in progress. He is picking it up and making progress. He is anxious about meal times, but is definitely getting enough to eat. He isn’t guarding food. He gets along with other dogs. So far he doesn’t have experience with cats or kids. He doesn’t mind riding in a car -----

A Quick but Important Note to All Adopters:
Please remember that none of our dogs arrive fully trained. Most come from tough or uncertain beginnings and may have never lived in a home or known basic routines. That means:

✧ They are not potty trained on arrival. Most dogs regress in potty training when moving to a new environment.

✧ They may lack basic manners (like leash walking or appropriate chewing).

✧ They’re learning, growing, and doing their best—but they will need patience, structure, and compassion to succeed.

The majority of these pups have lived in the confinement of a cage or kennel run for most - if not all - of their lives. Because of this, we strongly discourage the use of crates for anything other than vehicle transport. They deserve the chance to decompress and learn what true freedom and comfort feel like.

Our amazing foster homes work hard to start these dogs on the right path, but they are rescues, not finished products. These dogs need time, consistency, and a loving home willing to meet them where they are.

Also, breed designations are our best guesses based on appearance and behavior. We can't guarantee breed, size, adult weight, or coat type.

These pups are in Edmonds, Washington too!

Story
Meet Minnie, a 2-year-old Pug mix weighing 27 pounds with the cutest little underbite and a beautiful white chest and collar that gives her a “queenly” look. She’s as sweet as she is adorable and fully believes she’s here to love you… and collect a few treats along the way. Minnie is a happy, playful girl with a medium to high energy level. She loves playing with her foster dog siblings and enjoys toys, especially antlers and squeaky toys. She’ll chase a ball here and there, but she’d much rather engage with her people or other dogs than nap the day away. She’s very alert and will pop up quickly if she hears something new, making her both entertaining and a great little watchdog. She is house trained, though she has had a few recent accidents that may be related to medication she’s currently on while recovering from heartworm treatment. Minnie is crate trained with a little encouragement, especially if a treat is involved, and she settles in nicely once inside. When left alone, she does well resting in her crate for 4 to 8 hours. Minnie is great with tweens and teens and would do well in a home with or without kids. She gets along well with other dogs, especially those in the 30 to 60 pound range, and enjoys having playmates. Cats and other animals are unknown at this time. She’s a smart girl who already knows sit and shake and is currently working on “come here,” “lay down,” and “get in your box.” On leash, Minnie is still learning and can be a bit of a zig-zagger who pulls, but with consistency and a little patience, she’ll continue to improve. She is very food motivated, which makes training easier and fun. Car rides can make Minnie a little nervous, though she has already started improving. For longer trips, she may benefit from some calming support, but she’s making great progress and gaining confidence. Minnie’s ideal home is simply one that will love her. She’s affectionate, playful, and full of personality. When you look into her eyes, she seems to say, “I’m a cutie patootie, here to give you love and kisses,” and she truly means it. If you’re looking for a sweet, fun-loving companion who will keep you smiling and shower you with affection, Minnie may be your perfect match. You can apply directly for Minnie by clicking the Apply for Adoption button on the linked page. https://www.shelterluv.com/embed/animal/FODS-A-799 All our dogs come with 30 days of free post-adoption support through Petcademy.org. This benefit includes free access to Petcademy's team of trainers/behaviorists, as well as access to online materials that will help you settle your new family member into your home.
