Story
Animal Profile: Meet Apple! Apple is a 7 month old Pug mix. She and her siblings were brought to the shelter and dropped off in a card board box. Our  rescue partner, Saving Shelter Strays, reached out to us for help. Foster Update: Apple is a smedium sized pup (25lbs) with a big personality!   Immediately after arriving from Texas she was zooming around the yard with our dog and then crashed out with cute puppy snores. She is curious, goofy, and a top-tier snuggler. Apple loves toys, sticks, and playing with both dogs and people. She  is doing great with her potty training, and  does well in the car in a crate. She loves her toys, playing fetch, and zoomies in the yard. She can entertain herself when needed. She doesn’t pull on the leash, but is still learning to walk in a straight line . Anybody would be lucky to have this sweet baby! Apple would love an active home! Another  playful canine companion would be great, but isn’t mandator .    She will do best in a home with a securely fenced yard to get her zoomies out.   Adoption Info: Adoption fee is $575, which includes spay/neuter, current vaccinations per AVMA standards, microchip, negative heartworm test if over 6 months, and health certificate. Your donation may be tax deductible as DG is a 501c3 organization. Apply Online: www.doggoneseattle.org/adoption-application Animal History: This dog was rescued in partnership with Saving Shelter Strays in Texas and arriving to Seattle area foster care via Birdie Express Transport arriving on 08/08. This dog will be fostered in the greater Seattle area and available for adoption once evaluated.December 2, 2025, 2:12 pm

Story
🩷 Meet Junia! 🩷 8.5 months old | 13 lbs | Pug Mix House Trained | Crate Trained | Good with Dogs & Cats Junia is a sweet, playful little pup who wins everyone over with her adorable underbite — people often say she looks like a mini boxer! At home, she’s a curious companion who loves to follow her person from room to room, making sure she’s part of whatever’s going on. Once Junia feels comfortable, she turns into a total cuddlebug! She gives gentle kisses, loves sitting in laps, and adores morning snuggles on the bed. She’s also become an excellent walking buddy — walks are one of her favorite activities, and she trots along proudly beside you. Because she was under-socialized before rescue, Junia can still startle easily and may bark at strangers or new situations. She isn’t fearful — she just needs a bit of patience and reassurance to build trust. Once she does, her silly, affectionate personality shines through. Junia gets along beautifully with dogs of all sizes and does great with cats too! She enjoys playing chase and wrestling with her big dog friends, and even engages with her foster’s playful cat (but wisely gives space to the grumpy one). When no one’s up for playtime, she happily entertains herself with toys or zooms around before curling up for a long nap. Junia would thrive in a loving home with another friendly dog or a patient adopter who can help her continue to build confidence. She’s the perfect blend of sweet, silly, and snuggly — a wonderful companion ready to bring joy to her forever family! 🐾 Adopt Junia today and let this little pug mix steal your heart! *Not available for transport out of state. Must be adopted locally to the San Antonio, TX area.
