Meet Lilly 💕 Lilly is a 5-year-old, 15 lb, Pug and an absolute force of nature—a little wrecking ball of excitement, kisses, and pure personality! This spunky girl brings fun wherever she goes and has never met an adventure she didn’t want to investigate. L Lilly ily may have an injured eye, but don’t let that slow her down. It hasn’t dampened her adventurous spirit one bit—and apparently, it hasn’t stopped the resident boy dogs in her foster home from developing a massive crush on this irresistible girl either! Smart, determined, and endlessly entertaining, Lily is always ready to take on her next challenge. She takes her slow feeder bowl very seriously and is determined to prove who’s boss. When she’s not busy conquering dinner, she loves nothing more than wrestling with her foster brother and getting her zoomies out. Lilly is crate trained and potty trained, and she loves going for walks. She currently lives happily with four other dogs of various sizes as well as a cat, so she’s accustomed to a busy, multi-pet household. At the end of the day, though, Lily isn’t just a bundle of energy—she’s also a spunky, cuddly sweetheart who loves being part of the action and sharing affection with her people. Through no fault of his own, he found himself owner surrendered to a shelter, but he's ready to leave that chapter behind and find the forever family he deserves. Gus can be unsure of meeting new people at first, and may be a little shy and territorial. Once he knows you, he will be your best friend for life. He will welcome you with kisses, happy jumps, lots of tail wags. When Gus was owner surrendered, we were told that he is potty trained and does know how to use a bell to alert when needing to use the bathroom. He is also not much of a barker, gets along great with dogs, rides well in a car, and walks well on leash. Welcome Kiwi to CCPAL Rescue. Kiwi is a 10-week-old Pug mixed pup. She is a beautiful fawn color with a black muzzle. She has an underbite and a shortened nose. She is a smallest-sized pup in the liter. She should be 20 or 25 pounds full grown is our best estimate. They all have curly tails and the round adorable heads. Kiwi is the most outgoing and friendly in the group. She always comes when you call and wants to be picked up. They are all affectionate and cuddly. They are very playful with their siblings. They go on a wee pad but are not fully potty trained. They are good in a crate and are getting regular attention and love at the Rescue. We don’t have the privilege of adopting out many pugs. We are excited to find the pug pups their forever home. We would love pug people for these pups, as they know the breed most. They will be spayed and neutered and ready for their forever home soon. Someone that doesn’t work all day every day is the best candidate for a puppy. These pups would be fine with children. We like them to be 8 or older as these pups are small and very trusting of everyone. Kiwi is in Texas and can be adopted locally or we can work with one of the wonderful transporters to get her to Washington, Portland, Minnesota, Vermont or all along the East Coast. Her adoption fee is $600 and transport is $200. Rhode Island and Massachusetts are not states we adopt to because of the regulations imposed by these states. Leonard is a big sweetheart who becomes incredibly affectionate once he gets to know and trust you. He may bark when first meeting someone new, but give him a little time and you’ll soon discover a loyal companion who loves being close to his people. Leonard enjoys playing with a ball, taking walks, and running around the yard. He has plenty of energy and thrives on attention and interaction with his family. Around the house, Leonard likes to follow his people from room to room and will happily settle down and sleep nearby. He loves affection and being part of whatever his family is doing. Leonard gets along well with other dogs and would enjoy having a canine companion. Cats, however, are another story—Leonard likes to chase them, so a cat-free home would be best. Because Leonard is a big, energetic boy who may accidentally knock someone over, he would do best in a home without small children or elderly family members who could be unsteady on their feet. His ideal family will have the time and energy to give him the exercise, attention, and companionship he needs. Leonard is potty trained, loves bath time, and is a great car rider. He was originally found abandoned on the side of the road, frightened and shaking, but quickly learned how wonderful life in a loving home can be.
