        Let’s get ready to RUMBLE!  In this corner, weighing in at 42 pounds, is Lexie Grace, a Boxer mix. She’s an almost 7-year-old sweetheart who is mellow, potty trained, and somewhat shy.  This girl is looking for a family to shower her with love while she chills on the couch!     Lexie Grace is a little fearful of new things, but she is very lovable.  Lexie Grace enjoys her walks but may need some coaxing as she is easily frightened.  Inside the home, she’s a calm girl who sleeps in her bed at night, which is great because she’s not a fan of the crate.       Like all dogs, she gets the occasional zoomies and shows real personality.  Lexie Grace is not much of a cuddler, and she doesn’t demand you pet her.  She is an independent gal.  And there is no need to fill the toy box; she prefers a soft place to relax much more than toys!        Lexie Grace is a little quirky – she likes to hide under furniture during thunderstorms and fireworks.       What's not to love about me? I'm cute, petite, a super snuggler and I heard some guy named Rick wrote a song about me!!! I'm Jessie Girl. They say I'm a boxer mix, but I'm not even 40 pounds. Fommy thinks I might have some Boston terrier in me, which might explain my high prey drive. I love my 4 legged family members in my foster home, but they should probably not be in a farm setting. Also, no cats or rabbits, please. I'm a super snuggler who loves to be under the covers - and that's any covers; I'm not picky, but I especially love to be under yours so I can be all warm and cozy. I'm house-trained and crate-trained. What I don't do well is walk on a leash. I would need lots of patience and training. I can act very crazy and unruly while on walks, and even scream a bit because I'm over-excited, so teaching me how to redirect/refocus would be my number one priority. I would rather have a home that has a nice, secure,  tall fence. That way I won't get the crazies.   I'm just a simple family girl out here looking for her forever life.     Bluey Blue is a handsome 15-week old boxer mix with unique features and an outgoing, friendly personality that truly makes him extra special. This healthy boy has the most precious set of matching sock feet and a left eye the same color as a vivid blue sky on a summer's day. His sturdy frame may be a bit more compact than a typical boxer but he's every bit as playful and upbeat as any dog lover could hope to find. He adores all humans and dogs big and small, and his temperament is perfectly suited for a home with children. With so much love to give, he does have a high need for companionship and will definitely require another dog in the home along with an attentive owner who will be patient and help build his confidence. His foster mommy says he's very bright and is nearly potty trained and that with just a bit more work and consistency, he will be accident free in no time. Although Bluey Blue is still a young pup, he has already decided what he likes best: playtime, snuggles, kisses and lots of attention. As a social guy, he forms attachments and doesn't like to be left alone in his crate. Right now, he barks and vocalizes when crated but will stop when corrected. This will of course improve with more training and positive reinforcement as he matures, but in the meantime, he is not an ideal dog for apartment or condo living.     At the end of each day, after he's exhausted his puppy energy, Bluey Blue looks most forward to bedtime, preferably in close proximity to a fur companion and his humans, where he can shut his eyes feeling secure and loved. My Mom was a Border Collie mix and I am not sure about Dad but he was obviously one handsome dude. I am house and crate trained. I am very nervous in new situations and with new people. Once I feel comfortable though I am just a big goofball and my favorite thing to do is snuggle.
