Hiya! My name is Gracie,I am a young, one year old bully type mix that came to the shelter as a stray in early winter. I am a very friendly and social gally, who has yet to meet a human I haven't melted into for belly rubs. I walked well on a leash and appear to be potty trained but since I came in as a stray, my care team cannot guarantee my potty-trained status. I kindly ask that I meet any prospective human and canine siblings before I come home to you. I hope to see you soon!-Gracie!Weight: 53 lbs Primary Color: Red Brown Weight: 53.4 Age: 1yrs 2mths 0wks

Story
A FUN, PLAYFUL & ACTIVE GUY:  Approx. 3 years old / Approx. 35 lbs.  Hi, my name is Asher!  Mostly Mutts rescued me from animal control, and I’m very grateful.  The volunteers are taken with my unusual breed mix and my handsome ginger brindle coat, and compact body.  I bet you will be, too! I spent some time in the prison/foster training program off-site and learned a lot!  I am currently in a wonderful foster home, where I am able to continue all of my training.  My foster mom and dad say that I am a VERY good student! • OTHER DOGS/CATS/KIDS:  I have met other dogs at Mostly Mutts as well as in my foster home and liked them a lot!  I also played along the fence line with another doggie in a temporary foster home when my regular foster was away – what fun!!  I think I would ‘thrive’ in a home with another dog!  I can be barky when I see other dogs – not to worry – my trainer will show you how to introduce me to other dogs, so let’s meet! / Cats unknown. / I get a little excited to see children, so kids age 10+ would be the best fit for me, as I wouldn’t want to bump over younger children and toddlers.  Of course, let’s meet! • PERSONALITY/ENERGY LEVEL:  I am a sweet guy who has earned the reputation of being ‘goofy and funny’ around the shelter.  I’m happy with a fun nature, and sure to be a great addition to your family.  I am full of playful energy and am not shy about speaking my mind, so I don’t think an apartment/condo-type home would be a good fit for me.  I would love a backyard with a fence, as one of my favorite activities is chasing a ball.  I will even bring it back to you as long as you will throw it.  My foster parents have realized that I am also very good at entertaining myself inside, so I make a good office dog.  I really enjoy going on walks, and enjoy several of them during the day in my foster home.  I’m a lot of dog in a little package. I’m also very sweet and fun!  I am great in the shower, when my foster parents give me my weekly bath.  Affectionate and social, I have all the traits of a great companion. I, however, am not the kind of dog you would take to the kids’ sporting events, or a busy park, etc. since I can be reactive. I look forward to meeting all the members of my new home at my adoption! / My energy level is 6–8, so I am looking for a family member who will be active with me.  • SKILLS/CRATE/POTTY:  I’m a proud graduate of the Mostly Mutts University training program so I’ve learned the ‘sit’, ‘stay’, ‘down’, ‘come’, ‘drop it’, ‘leave it’ and ‘place’ commands.  I also use proper door etiquette and have good leash manners as well as accept nice strangers without jumping.  I get distracted by sounds I hear on my walk that I don’t recognize, so my trainer is using the ‘leave it’ command to keep me on track on our walks.  I’m very food motivated, so that makes my training fun and yummy! / I did well in my little room at Mostly Mutts. In my foster home, I have perfect crate manners, and easily go into my crate when my foster parents have to leave the house.  I even put myself to bed at night, by going into my crate without being asked. / In my foster home, I have had perfect potty manners and have not had a single accident.   • LIKES/DISLIKES:  I LOVE toys and enjoy having fun with them and I can entertain myself with a toy while you're busy, or if you prefer, I'd love to play fetch — just throw me a ball!  I’d enjoy a nice, fenced yard where we can have lots of play sessions together.  When it’s time to chill, I always enjoy a good petting and some cuddles with my people.  I secretly believe that I am a lap dog, so often times I will sit in your lap and wrap my front legs around your neck for a big hug.  I also enjoy my walks, but I need a strong walker, as I am a strong boy and can be reactive to people and other animals on walks.  I absolutely love car rides, so let's hit the road and find some nice, more quiet places to explore together! / I have been frightened by certain loud motors, the vacuum etc. so I don’t like those. Otherwise, I’m sure I wouldn’t like it if I didn’t get enough love, attention, exercise, and training. • MEDICAL:  I'm current on vaccinations, micro-chipped and neutered. I am looking for a dog savvy family where I will be a cherished family member!  My adoption fee is $299.00, and I’m located in Kennesaw, Ga.  August 26, 2025, 6:30 am

CHANCE ~~ Neutered Male, Boxer, White, Microchipped, DOB: 12/14/2017, 71 pounds, DEAF Chance is eligible for our Seniors for Seniors Adoption Program. If a Senior Citizen adopts Chance, we will waive the adoption fee and offer a 20% discount on all future vet services, food, etc. Come and meet this sweet guy if you are looking for a companion. Chance was found near Ameris Park before Christmas and no one has come forward to claim him or reported him as missing. So, this senior sweetheart is looking for a forever home. Can you help? ABOUT ME: I'm a friendly and social guy and really enjoy going for walks and playing. I'm very good on the leash and don't pull at all. I'd love to have a fenced backyard of my own to run around in and wouldn't mind going with you in the car to run some errands. That sounds like a lot of fun. I might be a little slow to warm up to new people, but I love people! I don't mind getting toenail trims and am a very good boy when the doctor takes care of me. My skin is a little itchy but I got a shot for that which really helped. I may be deaf but that doesn't slow me down in the least. I love eating my wet food, but don't love kibble too much ~~ unless you can find a really yummy food that I will like, of course! I am just looking for a really good home and some people to love, a couple of comfy beds and cool toys. I'd even like another friendly dog to play and hang out with. I don't know what cats are yet because I haven't been around them. MEDICAL: Chance is healthy, current on vaccines/vet services and bloodwork, has a negative fecal test and heartworm test. His adoption fee is $153 and includes a month of Simparica Trio (for heartworms, fleas, ticks, intestinal parasites) to go home with him. Chance should remain on heartworm and flea/tick prevention for life to keep him happy and healthy. If you have space in your heart and home for an exceptional boy, come and meet Chance today and see if he would be a good fit for your family. Crabapple Knoll Vet Clinic, 12604 Crabapple Road, Alpharetta, GA. 770.475.8272. Please visit at least two hours prior to closing. Monday to Friday 630AM to 7PM, Saturday and Sunday 8AM to 4PM. Story
Meet Roscoe - a handsome 8-year-old, 54 lb. Boxer/Shepherd mix with a heart as big as his smile. Roscoe is the perfect blend of fun and affection - he&#39s a happy, social boy who adores being around people and making new friends. His sweet and easygoing personality makes him a joy to have by your side. Roscoe is dog-friendly and enjoys having canine buddies to play with, though he would be just as content soaking up love as the center of attention. With his medium-to-low energy level, he&#39s the kind of pup who can enjoy a playful romp with his toys or a nice walk around the neighborhood, and then settle right in for cuddle time on the couch. This smart boy loves to learn and already knows how to be a wonderful housemate - he&#39s housebroken, crate trained, and walks well on the leash. Roscoe would thrive in an adult-only home or with a family that has kids 12 and up, where he can feel secure and cherished. Roscoe is neutered, fully vaccinated, and microchipped - all ready to start his next chapter. What he wants most is a forever family who will love him as much as he&#39ll love them. Whether it&#39s playtime, walk time, or snuggle time, Roscoe will be your loyal companion every step of the way. Could Roscoe be the one to make your home feel complete? For more information about this wonderful boy, please email us at info@barkvilledogrescue.org. Story
Hi there, my name is Coco,I am 6-year-old, medium sized, pitbull mix. I was brought to the shelter by animal control when my owner was taken away from me and my three canine brothers. I am a calm gal that likes to socialize, pet my belly rubs, and then go find a good place to nap. I am a great low-key gal if you're looking for a bone-a-fide porch and couch hippo. I did live with other dogs but would kindly ask to meet my prospective canine siblings before we go home, as I have been selective about my play mates. I did not live with cats so my friends here do not know how I will be living with one. I hope you'll come by and spend some quiet time with me soon! ~Coco Weight: 50 lbs Primary Color: Brown Secondary Color: White Weight: 50.2 Age: 6yrs 3mths 0wks

Story
Hello, my name is Coco-Bean!I am extra special because I have recently finished Heart Worm treatment and I have the perfect excuse to be a couch potato. Because of my heartworm status, I need my exercising kept to a minimum and I short, leashed walks where I won't get too winded. These restrictions suit me just fine, as I am a huge cuddle-bug who loves a good belly rub. Other than a couple of trips back to the shelter for blood draws (part of my treatment), I'm good to go and I don't require any special medicines, just a few more months of rest, love, and endless puppy kisses.I hope I see you soon! -Coco-BeanzWeight: 42 lbs Primary Color: Brown Secondary Color: White Weight: 42.2 Age: 1yrs 5mths 2wks

Story
A big, hefty, hello from me, Ribeye!!I am a massive, XL bully mix that was aged at 2 years old when I was brought to the shelter by animal control early January. I am a huge cuddle bug and have yet to meet a friend here I did not want to knock over and give the biggest face kisses to. I have shown my friends here that I am likely potty trained and very ready to go home and claim a whole couch for myself. Due to my size, I kindly require I meet my prospective canine siblings before I come home. It would likely be best if I meet all my human siblings before I come home too. See ya later!Weight: 89 lbs Primary Color: Fawn Weight: 89.3 Age: 2yrs 0mths 2wks
