Story
He was rescued at 1 year old from a nonviolent elderly gentleman unable to care for him. He’s currently 5 years old and still has springs in his feet. He doesn’t have a mean bone in his body and he’s a love bug at heart who is willing to be a lap dog if allowed. Loves food, loves car rides, hiking, boat rides, and running on the beach. He can swim but gets nervous in the water. He isn’t aggressive with other dogs, but sometimes gets overly excited and he doesn’t know when to stop playing. He has successfully cohabitated with cats. Needs daily walks/exercise to manage energy. Does extremely well with a remote collar. He will kiss all of your guests to death if allowed. Perfect for a home with school age or older children or an active retiree. Needs consistent activity and love. He is chipped and has never missed a vet appointment or shot.

Lennox is a lovebug and a joy to have in your life. He would love a home with a yard so that he can run free, play in the snow, and sunbathe, or someone that is moderately active since he has lived an active lifestyle. Lennox loves balls, bones, hiking, swimming and just cuddling under the blankets. Lennox is house and crate trained, and knows all the basic commands. Can be alone uncrated. Loves people, cats, and other dogs. Shares his food and water with his furry pals.

Meet Roy, a bright, happy spirit who brings a burst of joy wherever he goes. This handsome boy was surrendered to rescue when his family could no longer care for him, but he hasn’t let that dim his cheerful outlook on life. With his wagging tail, eager smile, and playful energy, Roy is ready to embrace a fresh start and he hopes it will be with a family who sees just how special he is.Roy gets along with other dogs, He’s also good with cats. And when it comes to people? Roy absolutely shines. He adores meeting new humans, from adults to kids, and is always ready to share his warmth, affection, and boundless enthusiasm. This highly energetic boy has a big zest for life and would thrive in a home with plenty of room to stretch his legs—ideally a large yard where he can run, explore, and burn off his puppy-like excitement. He’d be thrilled to have multiple playmates, whether they’re two-legged or four-legged, and he’s happiest when he’s included in the fun.Roy is ready for a family who can match his upbeat, playful nature and offer him the structure, love, and adventure he craves. Story
Puddin is a certified low rider with short legs, a rich chocolate coat, and the kind of soulful eyes that could melt anyone on the spot—just like his name suggests. He may be small in stature, but this sweet little dessert is overflowing with charm and already a professional heart-stealer. 🍫🤎This doll-faced boy came to us as part of a litter from an Alabama shelter, and he’s been serving up sweetness ever since. Puddin is busy learning all the good puppy things: snuggles are his specialty, playtime is his favorite pastime, and his gentle, loving personality shines just as much as his velvety brown fur. He’s great with everyone, including children, and is well on his way with housetraining. He’s already crate trained and has done just fine on short car rides—this little treat travels well!Puddin is endlessly entertaining and incredibly affectionate, proudly carrying his toys around like prized treasures, as if they’re the most important ingredients in his recipe for happiness. This adorable boy is the perfect comfort food for the soul and will be a wonderful addition to a lucky family—bringing warmth, laughter, and unconditional love with every spoonful.Name: PuddinBreed: Pit Bull Terrier/Basset HoundSex: MaleAge: 11 weeksWeight: 12.0Spayed/Neutered: Too young - Spay/Neuter Contract will be required and strictly enforced.Vaccinations: Puppy vaccines will be up to date. We can provide adopters with a list of low-cost SN clinics when requested. The adoption fee also includes the transport fee when applicableATTENTION PUPPY ADOPTERS:  You must attend training/behavior classes with your new dog unless you are an experienced dog owner and your adoption coordinator is comfortable with your experience.  This requirement is for the benefit of you and your puppy, so if you experience behavior issues, you have a point of contact.  PLEASE—Think long and hard before adopting a puppy. Consider the lifestyle change this puppy will come with. He cannot be crated for more than 3-4 hours until he's older. Puppy-proofing your home will be necessary. Puppies scratch and nip, so if you have small children, can they handle this? Training will be so crucial in this puppy's life. Story
Hershey is a wonderful boy! Sweet, shy, curious and playful Hershey is one of a kind. Hershey is a shy dog with a gentle soul who is worth getting to know. He will capture your heart in a second with his soulful eyes. The way to this boy's heart is patience, understanding, some yummy treats and toys.Having a reserved disposition, this sweet boy is looking for a quiet home without young children. This boy thrives in a calm environment where his people understand his need to adjust at his own pace. His adopters will need patience and understanding that Hershey will blossom with this patience. He will pay you back for your patience with his little nudges of confidence. He will follow you around and supervise your daily routine.Hershey has been working on basic commands, leash walking, and learning to trust humans. Hershey also enjoys sunbathing and MUST HAVE a secure fence in yard to ensure his safety and provide him a space to explore confidently. While he takes time to warm up to new faces, his sweet and gentle nature shines through once he feels safe. He lights up around other dogs, so having a gentle furry sibling or two to learn from would be ideal. His foster family has done an amazing job helping him come out of his shell, and he's now ready for the next chapter of his journey.
