Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Meet Louie, an adorable ball of fur overflowing with sweetness and playfulness, ready to steal your heart. Louie's enthusiasm for life knows no bounds, especially when it comes to his love for walks and exploration. He sometimes pulls on the leash but with a little training and patience this can easily be corrected. Louie's love for food makes him the ideal candidate for training sessions, as he eagerly responds to treats and positive reinforcement. Louie's affectionate nature shines through, making him a wonderful companion for those willing to provide him with guidance and love. His feelings towards other dogs and cats are situational. With proper introductions and socialization, Louie could make furry friends for life. If you're in search of a loyal and spirited companion, consider giving Louie a forever home filled with love and adventures.Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.  ********************************************************************************** We show some of our adoptable dogs at PetSmart, Utica, each Saturday between the hours of 11:00am and 3:00pm.  Cats typically don't do well at events, so they only attend with a pre-approved meet and greet appointment. Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Bio from rescuer: Please contact directly if you can assist with this sweet girl <3 Hello. This is Roxy. She goes by Roxy, Rox, or her favorite, ROXER! We took her in Xmas eve last minute, from her owner of 10+ years, who was going to put her down if he didn’t find a home due to “not having time for her anymore.” She is 13/14 years old. Boxer mix. She has a growth on her leg that her prev owner said was non cancerous and didn’t need to be removed, but it affects her walking to where she has a limp. She is such a sweet girl and would do good in a home w older or less hyper dogs. Or at least trained dogs! she just needs a good home! She’s still playful and very energetic! She enjoys lots of cuddles! Grew up around kids, dogs, and cats! ? She is also spayed and housebroken! She loves loves loves lots of cookies (aka dog treats haha). Located in Saginaw MI Please help me find this girl a great forever home. My number is 4053975880.Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.  ********************************************************************************** We show some of our adoptable dogs at PetSmart, Utica, each Saturday between the hours of 11:00am and 3:00pm.  Cats typically don't do well at events, so they only attend with a pre-approved meet and greet appointment. Story
Meet Ellie, the happiest little dog around! Ellie came to us as a stray and without anyone claiming her, is now up for adoption! She really is the sweetest girl who LOVES being with people. Winning the shelter award for the happiest tail, Ellie knows how to put a smile on your face with the way she greets us every morning. However, she needs a home where she can get lots of love and attention more than just the time someone's at the shelter for and she more than deserves it. It breaks our hearts seeing such an amazing and happy dog stuck at the shelter and we're hoping she finds her forever home with her perfect person! Ellie is spayed, currently up to date on vaccines, and is now looking for her forever home!

Story
Hello there! My name is Manny/Chip! I am the most handsomest Boxer/Lab mix ever!! And my personality is just as attractive! I was given a chance at a new life when Artemis pulled me from the pound – they were going to euthanize me, can you believe it?!?! Well, now I’m safe… and full of hope as I anxiously await that loving family that is out there for me. A little about me: * I was born around 9/04/21 * I weigh about 55lbs * I’m already neutered * I’m heartworm negative and UTD on vaccines and preventatives! * I LOVE playing ball and getting belly rubs. * Hanging out with my person is my most favorite thing * I promise – I would make you a GREAT canine buddy!! Please give me a chance to win your heart and become your best friend forever! I really need to find my new family… that very well may be you! Currently this sweet baby is with our rescue, The Artemis Project, in Arkansas. We DO, however, transport monthly to the metro Detroit area of MI. Because we’re able to transport, we ARE able to accept adoption applications directly from residents of MI. Why do we transport? Because animal overpopulation is severe in our region, and stray and unwanted dogs have very little chance of finding a home here. These babies are, however, at a high risk of being neglected, abused, abandoned, euthanized or even shot (it’s “the way things are done” for some people down here). YOU are truly one of the only safe and happy endings for the lucky ones we are able to rescue. Upon approval of your adoption application, we will then transport your new furbaby to you in the metro Detroit area for just a small travel expense fee of $50 in addition to the adoption fee. MICHIGAN RESIDENTS—>PLEASE CLICK THE LINK BELOW TO FILL OUT THE ADOPTION APPLICATION: https://new.shelterluv.com/form/other/TAP/2450-michigan-adoption Before we can change your new furbaby’s status from "adoptable" to "adoption pending," the $50 transport fee must be paid to secure the adoption. At that time, we will stop accepting applications. The entire adoption fee must be paid prior to the transport in order to ensure your new baby has a spot on the transport. Thank you SO MUCH for giving a homeless Arkansas pup a chance at a real life with a family of their very own!

Story
Hello hoomans!! Kevon here. I’m currently on the hunt for a family of my very own. I’m a 57 pound male boxer mix who was born around 5/08/23 and, let me tell you I’ve got the perfect mix of playful energy and cuddle-ready charm to steal your heart. I love making friends! Whether it’s playing with other doggos, or my absolute favorite – snuggling with hoomans, Do you want a bestie for adventures and zoomies? That’s me! Need a lap warmer for movie nights? Also me! I’m the best of both worlds – active and playful, but also the perfect snuggle bug. And I’m up to date on my vaccines but because my previous owners did not take proper care of me I'm currently being treated for heartworms on slow kill method, which Artemis is funding and will continue to fund until I'm cured... even if you adopt me so please don't let that stop you from meeting me. If you’re looking for a loyal, loving, and adorable new family member, I’d love to meet you! Let’s make some tail-wagging memories together. I can’t wait to be your best friend forever!
