Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Meet Louie, an adorable ball of fur overflowing with sweetness and playfulness, ready to steal your heart. Louie's enthusiasm for life knows no bounds, especially when it comes to his love for walks and exploration. However, his zest for adventure sometimes leads to a bit of leash pulling, a behavior that with a little training and patience can easily be corrected. Louie's love for food makes him the ideal candidate for training sessions, as he eagerly responds to treats and positive reinforcement. Despite his occasional impulsive tendencies, Louie's affectionate nature shines through, making him a wonderful companion for those willing to provide him with guidance and love. While his feelings towards other dogs and cats are still uncertain, with proper introductions and socialization, Louie could potentially make furry friends for life. If you're in search of a loyal and spirited companion, consider giving Louie a forever home filled with love and adventures.Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.  ********************************************************************************** We show some of our adoptable dogs at PetSmart, Utica, each Saturday between the hours of 11:00am and 3:00pm.  Cats typically don't do well at events, so they only attend with a pre-approved meet and greet appointment. Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Charity Charity is a White and Tan Boxer mix. She was found as a stray. The vet estimates that she is about Ten (10) years old. She weighs 70 pounds. She is a very gentle, smart, loyal and loving dog. She likes people! Both men and women and will happily snuggle even if you just met! She doesn’t seem to mind other dogs. We have not seen how she is with cats or young children. She is house trained and knows the command to sit, lay down, stay and shake hands. She is not a barker. She is spayed, chipped and all her shots are up to date. She adapts quickly and will settle into a routine keeping herself occupied while inside the house. When she is walked, she will not run or pull you. She will go at a quick walking pace if you like or just stay with you. She is a big dog with a big heart who will love you unconditionally. The best fit for Charity is a home with a stable environment, a yard to play and someone who is looking for a more mature calmer dog as a great companion.Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.  ********************************************************************************** We show some of our adoptable dogs at PetSmart, Utica, each Saturday between the hours of 11:00am and 3:00pm.  Cats typically don't do well at events, so they only attend with a pre-approved meet and greet appointment. Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Bio from rescuer: Please contact directly if you can assist with this sweet girl <3 Hello. This is Roxy. She goes by Roxy, Rox, or her favorite, ROXER! We took her in Xmas eve last minute, from her owner of 10+ years, who was going to put her down if he didn’t find a home due to “not having time for her anymore.” She is 13/14 years old. Boxer mix. She has a growth on her leg that her prev owner said was non cancerous and didn’t need to be removed, but it affects her walking to where she has a limp. She is such a sweet girl and would do good in a home w older or less hyper dogs. Or at least trained dogs! she just needs a good home! She’s still playful and very energetic! She enjoys lots of cuddles! Grew up around kids, dogs, and cats! ? She is also spayed and housebroken! She loves loves loves lots of cookies (aka dog treats haha). Located in Saginaw MI Please help me find this girl a great forever home. Story
Hey there, fun-lover! Meet Carmine – a wiggly, waggly bundle of pure joy who’s part Pit Bull, part Boxer, and 100% puppy! This handsome boy is a walking (okay, bouncing) ball of energy, curiosity, and cuddly chaos—and he’s looking for a best friend to grow up with.Carmine is all about play, play, play. Got a squeaky toy? He’s interested. A tennis ball? Obsessed. A random stick in the yard? Instant favorite. He’s curious about everything and everyone, and his adorable little head tilt when he discovers something new is guaranteed to melt your heart.Of course, being a young pup, Carmine is still learning how this whole `being a good boy` thing works. He’ll need some obedience training (and a few reminders not to chew your shoes), but he’s super smart and totally treat-motivated. With the right guidance, he’s going to make one awesome sidekick—loyal, goofy, and full of love.Carmine is searching for an active home where he can stretch his legs, burn some energy, and most importantly, be part of the family. If you’ve got a sense of humor, a bit of patience, and a whole lot of love to give, Carmine’s your guy.If you are interested in adopting me or another homeless pet at Macomb County Animal Control, walk-in adoption hours are Monday-Friday from 10am-4pm.My adoption fee is $150

Story
Citrus was living alone in an abandoned house with no doors or windows. We trapped her, and she got very upset. Citrus was growling for many many days, and did not allow any handling. She finally came around to trust us, and is now a loving sweetheart. Citrus wants an understanding foster-to-adopt home, who wants to baby her. She is estimated to be 2-4 years old, and a mix between English Bulldog and Boxer. Citrus has a classic cautious and disapproving yet personable English Bulldog personality, and the silly play style of a Boxer. We are looking for a household without children for Citrus. Leashed walks are fine, she does not require a fenced in yard. Citrus has dog friends at the shelter - but incorporating her into a home dynamic with other dogs will take weeks. If you are up for it, we can discuss. We cover all needed vet care. The adoption fee is $275. Please apply through our website: rebeldogsdetroit.com/applytoadopt
