Buster was found running down the road. We found out that he was adopted from a shelter, but the lady couldn't keep him, so she gave him away and apparently, they didn't want him either. He's a good boy just looking for his forever family. He is 5 months old and gets along with everyone. These dogs are being fostered in TN but included in your adoption fee is transport to a location near you by Rescue Riders Pet Transport, the most animal-friendly transport on the road.

Stella is a beautiful girl. She is very affectionate and loves everyone. She loves to play and hug. We are working on teaching her not to jump. She just wants to be touching someone all the time. She is walking great on a leash and learning basic commands. She gets along with other dogs and would do well with an active family. Her adoption fee is $250 and is currently in Tennessee. She can be transported. We use Rescue Riders Pet Transport, (rescueridersllc.net), the most animal-friendly transport on the road.

She goes by Roxy, Rox, or her favorite, ROXER! We took her in Xmas eve last minute, from her owner of 10+ years, who was going to put her down if he didn’t find a home due to “not having time for her anymore.” She is 13/14 years old. Boxer mix. She has a growth on her leg that her prev owner said was non cancerous and didn’t need to be removed, but it affects her walking to where she has a limp. She is such a sweet girl and would do good in a home w older or less hyper dogs. Or at least trained dogs! she just needs a good home! She’s still playful and very energetic! She enjoys lots of cuddles! Grew up around kids, dogs, and cats! ? She is also spayed and housebroken! She loves loves loves lots of cookies (aka dog treats haha). Every question must be answered, and it must be signed.-Applicants must be 21+ years old and live within a 100-mile radius of our shelter at 22415 Groesbeck Hwy, Warren 48089.-You must identify at least 1 animal that you are interested in.-Once your application is received, it will be assigned to one of our volunteer Adoption Counselors who will follow-up with the applicant who is the best fit within a few days, or to discuss other options. It could take up to a couple of weeks for you to receive a final disposition on your application so there is no need to check on the status.-Introductions will be scheduled by appointment only, 30 minutes per appointment. The entire household, including current dogs, must be present for the appointment. (Note: Please do not bring your dogs if you are meeting cats!). Citrus was living alone in an abandoned house with no doors or windows. We trapped her, and she got very upset. Citrus was growling for many many days, and did not allow any handling. She finally came around to trust us, and is now a loving sweetheart. Citrus wants an understanding foster-to-adopt home, who wants to baby her. She is estimated to be 2-4 years old, and a mix between English Bulldog and Boxer. Citrus has a classic cautious and disapproving yet personable English Bulldog personality, and the silly play style of a Boxer. We are looking for a household without children for Citrus. Leashed walks are fine, she does not require a fenced in yard. Citrus has dog friends at the shelter - but incorporating her into a home dynamic with other dogs will take weeks. 💛 Meet Lieutenant Dan AKA Dan the Man! This big, beautiful boy is the definition of gentle strength. He’s crate trained, walks well on leash (especially for how strong he is!), and has a calm, easygoing personality. Not only are his looks pure handsome.. his personality is top tier and he is truly a perfect little house hippo! He enjoys playing with toys here and there but isn’t the type to tear through the house — he’s laid back and careful, even for his size. When he puts his paws on you, it’s never rough — just his sweet way of saying hi. He can get a little nervous with loud noises or if he thinks he’s in trouble, and although he didn't have the best past, his heart is pure gold. He loves people, loves affection, and just wants to please. He’s still learning some basic commands and working on marking, but with time, patience, and a loving home, he’ll thrive. He shows positive body language when seeing other dogs and we think with proper introductions he would even enjoy having doggy friends! Cats unknown....we don't think he has met any yet! Meet Grace!!! Grace to us when she was found as a stray in Detroit and sadly no one came for her. Her finder stepped up to foster her and the rest is history!!! We estimate Grace to be 6-7 months old. She is spayed, up to date on vaccines and microchipped. Grace has met cats and children while in foster care and has done great with them. We expect her to be dog friendly as well. Grace is working very hard on her potty training and her crate training. She sleeps in the crate through the night and is learning to like the crate more and more each day. Grace has started going to the door when she needs to go outside and with continued consistency we feel she will be 100%potty trained in no time. She is a SUPER smart puppy that is very eager to learn. Grace displays your typical puppy energy and behavior. She loves chewing on toys and bones and definitely will require exercise everyday.
