Story
Gypsy is located in TEXAS. There are not enough homes for all the unwanted dogs down there, so she is willing to relocate for a good, loving, forever home. Gypsy is a very good girl and is the most obedient dog I have ever seen. She knows how to sit and comes when called. She is housetrained and very well behaved in the house. She likes her crate and sleeps in it with the door open. She walks well on a leash and rides well in a vehicle. Gypsy loves her toys, especially squeaky ones, and she loves playing fetch. Gypsy is active - she loves to run and play with toys and other dogs. She loves water and lays in the wading pool when it is hot, and we bet she would love snow. She gets excited about squirrels, cats, and critters on the other side of the fence. Gypsy does well with all dogs but gets along best with male dogs. She is normally good around small dogs but occasionally mistakes one for a toy when she is over-excited. So she is not recommended for homes with small dogs. She is not too fond of puppies getting in her face either. Gypsy loves human attention and is good with children. She could perhaps use more obedience training with someone firm, patient, and loving. Gypsy is very sweet. She gets attached to her human and likes to lay under my desk when I work on the computer. Gypsy walks well on a leash and rides well in the car. She must be in the house as a loved family member, and she needs a yard with a 6' fence to run and play. Gypsy came from a bad home. She was not being fed and was severely underweight. So the people surrendered Gypsy and her puppies to animal control to avoid animal cruelty charges. Gypsys DNA test results are mostly Boxer, Husky, and German Shepherd. She bounces on her front legs when she is excited and we now know that comes from the Boxer in her. Gypsy is around 5 years of age and weighs 70 pounds (she only weighed 35 pounds when we got her). Gypsy is healthy. She is spayed, tattooed, fully vaccinated (DAPPvL2, Bordatella, rabies), and microchipped. Gypsy had a light case of heartworms when we first got her. We used the slow-kill method (we are happy to explain this) and she is now negative for heartworms and on monthly heartworm and flea prevention. Gypsy's adoption fee includes the cost of ground transport to Columbus, Cincinnati, or Akron Ohio. She is located in Texas and cannot be transported until after she is adopted. Story
What an adorable little firecracker !! FULL of personality and afraid of nothing! She is confident, curious, LOVES the water and her baby pool. Often times she's the only one willing to get in. LAMAREY lives to be with other dogs and especially adores her humans. She is literally always happy! You cannot rain on her parade! She is kennel trained and almost house trained! She is a joy to have as part of our foster family. LAMAREY is with me in my home in Memphis, Tn. Once adopted , she will travel via Rescue Vet Transport to her new forever family. Once an application has been submitted and approved , I would be happy to speak with you and tell you all of the wonderful things about her ! You will find our volunteer team to be very responsive so please refrain from submitting an application until you are ready to welcome a new forever family member. Transport runs each weekend, leaving Memphis Tennessee Friday morning around 6 AM at which time they start a group chat with the two drivers and all the adopters who have a A Pet on board. Transport is an additional $185.

Story
SophieFemaleAge: 6 monthsWeight: 24 lbsBreed: Boxer Mix Hi! I’m Sophie! I am an active, friendly and smart lady who gets along great with other dogs, cats and even kids. Since I am so young I am still working on my house training. I am crate trained and I walk well on a leash too. My favorite treats are meat snacks and bones and I enjoy some toys that squeak too. My favorite activities include: playing, going to the park, taking walks, lounging and cuddling. I really enjoy playing with other dogs to burn off my puppy energy and to socialize, so an active family or a family with another dog I can play with would be best.  I cannot wait to find my very own fun family who will give me all the love and attention I deserve and who will work me as I learn and grow. I have an appointment scheduled to by spayed in mid June. If you are interested in meeting this friendly and cuddly girl, apply to adopt her at: www.causeforcanines.org. Adoption fee: $395. Must be an Ohio resident and 23 or older. Children must be 5 years old or older.  ##2058378##

She is fearful and needs slow introduction to new people. -LOVES children but needs a slow introduction -Outdoorsy (loves to RUN! and roll in the grass) -Snuggly when she wants to be -Playful -Independent -Plays ball -Walks -Crates We love Jovie but we have worked with a trainer for years and she also thinks this is best for Jo. She is in perfect health as well.

Story
Bixby is a sweet dog that I adopted from a shelter several years ago. He is approximately 5 years old and around 65 lbs. I am not able to care for Bixby and exercise him the way he needs on walks. His main behavior issue is pulling on walks and lunging- although he is generally friendly with other dogs. I don't have the right home for a large dog and physically can not handle him. I’m looking to rehome asap.
