This handsome guy is Dallas. Dallas was brought to us by a Good Samaritan who found him abandoned and tied up at a park with a note asking someone to take him and give him a better life. It was indicated that he did well with other dogs, kids, and cats but since we don't know for sure we recommend he meet all family members before going home. He may know some tricks already and may have some basic skills. Dallas is a sweet boy who just doesn't understand why he is in a shelter instead of in a loving home. He is a calm and gentle dog who loves getting snuggles. He wants to be close to you getting cuddled, have a nice comfy place to relax, and will enjoy going on a nice walk or exploring the yard. He enjoys hanging out with people outside during playtime. Finnick would enjoy being the only dog in the home and would love to be your faithful and loveable companion . With an estimated birth date of March 2, 2021 and weighing 58 pounds, Finnick has been vet checked, neutered, is up to date on vaccines, on flea & heartworm prevention. Currently he is on sensitive stomach food. We hope that once he is out of the stresses of the shelter, he might be able to return to regular dog food. Hiya! My name is Evie.  I'm 8 years old, around 60 lbs, and my foster mom says I am the sweetest, most special girl. I have been in the rescue a loooooong time because until very recently I was scared of everything. The nice ladies in the rescue took me in when I was 4 months old and I won't tell them what happened to me before that, but it was bad and I was so scared. A few months ago I had the opportunity to go see this wonderful trainer named Alicia and she helped me and my foster momma learn how to deal with my fear and anxiety and now I'm doing so much better! My momma challenges me every day and I'm finally learning how to act like a dog (and not a scaredy cat)! I love to play and run in the yard now with my foster siblings and sprawl out on the couch and chew a bone. I still like my crate, but I like to be outside of it now too! I am still a little timid when meeting new people, but I will bark while checking them out instead of running to hide, and you can win me over with cheese!  If you can show Evie love and patience, please apply! She deserves a forever home to call her own! Evie's adoption fee is $200.  She is up to date on age appropriate vaccinations, spayed, microchipped, and on heart worm prevention. Evie  is part of our Senior Soulmates Program. If she is adopted by a senior citizen, a generous donor will sponsor her adoption fee and she will come with six months of heartworm prevention. All of our dogs are spayed or neutered, up to date on age appropriate vaccinations, microchipped and if over 6 months of age, heartworm tested and on heartworm preventative in their foster home.
