Story
Meet Lillith, Lilly for short. Lilly was on the euthanasia list at the Preble County Warden's office. We were able to "pull" this sweet girl and get her into foster care where she has gone from skin and bones to a joyful, thriving, beautiful girl. Lilly's DOB is 12/11/19. She is crate and potty-trained. Lilly likes to watch birds and squirrels. She will chase them a bit. She loves to look for treats in the yard and she loves belly rubs. Lilly has gotten used to being wiped down with a wet towel. She's not a fan of getting her teeth brushed or cutting her toenails but she'll let you do it. She's always down for a walk. Lilly loves to cuddle with her humans but is a bit picky with her dog friends. She does ok with male dogs but definitely not females. It might be better if she doesn't have to share all the snuggles with any dogs. If you would like to give Lilly her happily ever after please fill out an application.

Story
I am rehoming Sadie for a friend of mine who just wasn’t able to keep up with her needs. She has been kept up in a bedroom for majority of her life and was severely malnourished when I discovered her. She longs for company and to be able to freely run outside, so a fenced in backyard is preferred. She is the sweetest dog ever and will try her hardest to not let you down. She just wants affection. She has the best “SIT” I’ve ever seen and I wish I could take her myself but I already have 2 dogs and am relocating soon. Because Sadie was underfed for so long, her stomach is sensitive and has to go quite often. But she will always let you know she has to go, and is very sad and ashamed when she can’t hold it. Which isn’t her fault, but she has been treated as so. I’m not sure if her exact age and breed, but am sure she is a loving and sweet girl with a hysterical personality that deserves lots of space and attention

Story
It's time for  a very special introduction....our sweet, special boy Samson, or as his foster family calls him... Scooter &#226&#157&#164&#239&#184&#143&#226&#157&#164&#239&#184&#143&#226&#157&#164&#239&#184&#143  Scoot came to the rescue in February of 2023 as a puppy. He's an extra special guy with some extra special needs.  He's mostly paralyzed in the back end and is also incontinent...but let us tell you, that doesn't slow him down one bit! He is silly and playful and extra sweet.  Upon entering his foster home, Scoot started hydrotherapy, which has helped him immensely. He's able to use his back legs some but mostly scoots around and still needs a wheelchair for walks and outings.  In addition, Scooter went to a neurologist in Columbus so we could figure out what caused this and if it was fixable. We got our answer pretty quickly... Neosporosis.  Neospora is a parasite that was passed to him in utero from his mom. It paralyzes muscles. He started antibiotics immediately to kill the parasite and keep it from doing further damage. We can't fix Scoot, he is how he is...which is PERFECT!  Scooter is almost finished with his antibiotics, but still takes daily meds to help with his urinary incontinence, probiotics, and a joint supplement.  He is loved beyond measure in his foster home, even though he's  a little "extra." However, the time has come to let him spread his wings and fly in his forever home &#226&#157&#164&#239&#184&#143 Samson is great with other digs, kids and cats. He is neutered, up to date on age appropriate vaccines and microchipped. His adoption fee is $250 All of our dogs are spayed or neutered, up to date on age appropriate vaccinations, microchipped and if over 6 months of age, heartworm tested and on heartworm preventative in their foster home. Story
Hi, I'm Bubba. I am a boxer/pit mix and I'm around 9 years old. I weigh between 60-65 pounds and would be your next lap cuddle buddy if you let me. I love belly scratches and ear massages. I currently live with two little kids and they play all over me. I have had play dates with other dogs and love to run around with them. Smaller dogs are better as I am not so sure about larger dogs. I enjoy being outside and running around. I love to go on walks but need a little training on the leash. I am a sucker for dog biscuits/treats and happily will sit, shake, and lay down to receive them. Due to my past, I have separation anxiety so someone who is around a lot or works from home would be ideal. All of our dogs are spayed or neutered, up to date on age appropriate vaccinations, microchipped and if over 6 months of age, heartworm tested and on heartworm preventative in their foster home. Story
Hello everyone. My name is Grasshopper. I wanted to tell you a little bit about myself and my typical day. I like to start the day with a nice walk after breakfast to stretch my legs. I’ll go check on the geese at the pond and sometimes I’ll just sit on the bench with my foster mom and enjoy the view. After that, it’s time for work! I’m just an intern since I’m a puppy but I like to wear my tie so I look pawfessional. After work, I’ll typically run some errands. I like to go to Petsmart to stock up on treats and toys or Lowes for stuff for the yard. I love being outside and helping with yard work. If it’s hot out I like to go for a swim in my pool. After that, it’s dinner time and I always help with the dishes afterwards because I’m a very good boy (and I love water). My foster mom puts a chair by the sink so I can reach. If it’s the weekend I love getting together with my doggy friends for a play date. I love all dogs and people. My days are so full there’s not a lot of down time to go into my crate but I’m a really good boy in the crate if you give me some treats (ask my foster mom what my favorites are). At the end of the day it’s time for my bath and off to bed where I curl up with my teddy bears and dream of my forever family. Petfinder is having issues uploading photos of pets. Story
Meet Holden, this season’s diamond! At only 8-months old, he has puppy energy yet enough manners to potty outside, walk on a leash, and sit for a treat or meal. Not only is he a snuggle bug that likes to be right next to his human, he is the ultimate adventurer. He rides in the car like a perfect gentleman and even waits on me when hiking uphill. Story
MEET DREXIE!!! Miss Drexie is a (DOB 06/08/20) beautiful female PiPei (Pit Bull/Shar-Pei mix). She is just as sweet as she looks. She loves other dogs. Unknown with cats. Would do best with older children because she is still learning her manners. It was determined that the bow in her front legs was (most likely) intentional as she did have bilateral broken bones that have healed. She had had a few litters in her short little life. Drexie was rescued from a hoarding case in Dayton where she only knew life on a logging chain. Better days since then and better life ahead of her. Our girl is now fully Vetted and looking for her furever home.

Story
Without even knowing, naming Honey BooBoo took on a whole new meaning. Not only can a name connect each of us to our own identity and individuality, but it can also carry power and blessings. You will never find a sweeter girl than Honey BooBoo. Honey BooBoo came into the rescue in December of '22, completely pregnant and in very poor health. She had eight gorgeous babies (one didn't survive) on Christmas Eve eve. All of her babies have long ago been adopted but this, the sweetest girl on the planet, is still awaiting her furever. HBB is fully vetted, she adores other dogs and loves all people. She does need to practice her manners a little with not pulling on the leash and not to be all up in your business but she just wants to be close her any human for lots and lots of love. Honey BooBoo is a bit too cat curious but otherwise, the best girl in all the land!! Please help us find Honey BooBoo her own person whether it is you or someone you know.

Story
Adopt Chopper Chopper is the absolute sweetest to ALL humans! For being a young pittie, he has such an unwavering, unconditional love for humans. He is as sweet as Strawberry Wine! Chopper loves to go on walks and would be a GREAT hiking buddy. After you and Chopper's adventures, he will want cuddle and get all the loving on the couch. Chopper gets zoomies like a crazy man and loves to explore the yard! He is potty trained and lets you know when he needs to go outside. Chopper is very picky about his animal friends and would do best in an only dog home. Chopper is a Loverboy to any human he meets.
