Story
Hi, my name is Buddy Guy! My foster mom says I am ALL puppy! I love to play forever and EVER. I am curious about everything but I learn quickly but from what mom says I like to test her and make sure she remembers what she just taught me. I am a very happy go lucky boy that just needs an energetic home. Dogs are OK as long as they can play on my level, in other word Buddy needs a Buddy lol. Cats are OK, I just like to playfully chase them so they can get some exercise. I see they lay around a lot. Weird! One of my favorite things to do is when my foster mom or dad plays with me outside with the flirt pole. I could do it for hours, if they would just stand out there that long! I would do better with older children because I don't want to knock them down and I'm still learning to not use my mouth on everything. I do love chew toys, balls and anything you can put peanut butter in. I really wasn't shown proper "puppy" manners so I need a family that has patience and understanding as I am still learning. ADOPTION FEE: $350 (All MVPC dogs are heartworm-tested and on prevention, completely vetted, spayed/neutered, microchipped, crate-trained and house-trained) ADOPTER: Dog experience BIRTHDAY: 1/9/23 FENCE: Required (an electric fence is not an acceptable form of containment) DOG FRIENDLY: Yes! DOGS IN HOME: Yes, but can be solo CATS: Yes CHILDREN: Yes, 8 and over I AM READY TO GO HOME!! If you are approved to be my new family, a hold fee of $100 is required and will be applied to the full adoption fee of $350 when MVPC comes to visit your house with me! INQUIRIES: ALL inquiries begin with a submitted adoption application, which is found on our website, www.miamivalleypitcrew.com. We do not adopt to individuals under the age of 25. DO NOT: USE THE PETFINDER CONTACT/INQUIRY/ADOPT BUTTONS--we are unable to monitor those and you will not receive a response. PLEASE NOTE: We are volunteer based and a home visit is required; we have a two-hour adoption radius from Kettering, OH for our adult dogs and 75 miles for our puppies. Exceptions for our ADULT dogs only, though rare, may be made on a case-by-case basis but we must be able to do a home visit. Thank you for your understanding!

Story
Meet Bella, She is a sweet boxer pitbull mix with a sad back story, she was found abandoned tied to a pole as a puppy near a busy road. After hours of being unattended she was taken in by a amvets that was next door. after being there for a couple days my Grandparents took her home and gave her a home and a healthy life for almost 2 years. Both of my grandparents unfortunately passed away and i was the only member in the family who could take care of her. she has been living with myself and my girlfriend with a dog allergy for about 5ish months now and we just can’t take care of her anymore with us both working full time. She is a very sweet dog who loves to play with toys and run in the yard. she gets social anxiety when left alone for long periods of time but she seems to be getting better at it. Bella Is one of the most sweet dogs i’ve met in my entire life. It breaks my heart to let her go but we know we can find the perfect forever home for her.

Story
It's time for  a very special introduction....our sweet, special boy Samson, or as his foster family calls him... Scooter &#226&#157&#164&#239&#184&#143&#226&#157&#164&#239&#184&#143&#226&#157&#164&#239&#184&#143  Scoot came to the rescue in February of 2023 as a puppy. He's an extra special guy with some extra special needs.  He's mostly paralyzed in the back end and is also incontinent...but let us tell you, that doesn't slow him down one bit! He is silly and playful and extra sweet.  Upon entering his foster home, Scoot started hydrotherapy, which has helped him immensely. He's able to use his back legs some but mostly scoots around and still needs a wheelchair for walks and outings.  In addition, Scooter went to a neurologist in Columbus so we could figure out what caused this and if it was fixable. We got our answer pretty quickly... Neosporosis.  Neospora is a parasite that was passed to him in utero from his mom. It paralyzes muscles. He started antibiotics immediately to kill the parasite and keep it from doing further damage. We can't fix Scoot, he is how he is...which is PERFECT!  Scooter is almost finished with his antibiotics, but still takes daily meds to help with his urinary incontinence, probiotics, and a joint supplement.  He is loved beyond measure in his foster home, even though he's  a little "extra." However, the time has come to let him spread his wings and fly in his forever home &#226&#157&#164&#239&#184&#143 Samson is great with other digs, kids and cats. He is neutered, up to date on age appropriate vaccines and microchipped. His adoption fee is $250 All of our dogs are spayed or neutered, up to date on age appropriate vaccinations, microchipped and if over 6 months of age, heartworm tested and on heartworm preventative in their foster home. Story
Hi, I'm Bubba. I am a boxer/pit mix and I'm around 9 years old. I weigh between 60-65 pounds and would be your next lap cuddle buddy if you let me. I love belly scratches and ear massages. I currently live with two little kids and they play all over me. I have had play dates with other dogs and love to run around with them. Smaller dogs are better as I am not so sure about larger dogs. I enjoy being outside and running around. I love to go on walks but need a little training on the leash. I am a sucker for dog biscuits/treats and happily will sit, shake, and lay down to receive them. Due to my past, I have separation anxiety so someone who is around a lot or works from home would be ideal. All of our dogs are spayed or neutered, up to date on age appropriate vaccinations, microchipped and if over 6 months of age, heartworm tested and on heartworm preventative in their foster home. Story
Hi, everyone. I'm Axel Rose. I'm a 6 month old, 30 pound boxer mix. My foster mom tells me I'm the cutest, most snuggly and smartest little baby. I'm good with dogs, cats, kids, walking on a leash and I love riding in the car. I love running and playing with the dogs at my foster home, treats, snuggling, and being told that I'm a good boy. I love learning new things because I get treats when I do! So far I know how to sit, give a paw, come when called, and I'm working on leaving it. I've almost mastered potty training in just a few days and I lay quietly in my crate when I have a chew stick and a couple of toys. My foster mom says that I'm an absolute rock star, and that's how I got my name! Because of a terrible tail docking that went wrong, I can't wag my tail. But don't worry, my cute little face and my wiggly little body will tell you how happy I am. Will you please add me to your band? I promise that we'll make fantastic music together! All of our dogs are spayed or neutered, up to date on age appropriate vaccinations, microchipped and if over 6 months of age, heartworm tested and on heartworm preventative in their foster home. We require an approved application to meet any of our dogs. We do not have a shelter location and will not arrange a meeting without an approved application.
