IF YOU ARE INTERESTED IN ADOPTION, PLEASE GO TO OUR WEBSITE TO READ ABOUT THE ADOPTION PROCESS AND FILL OUT AN APPLICATION. www.furkidrescue.org Mister was rescued from being chained to a fence with no protection from the elements. His former owner was a homeless and addicted to drugs. A fellow rescuer purchased him to get him out of the situation. He is good with other dogs. Loves his crate, toys, going for walks and going in the car. It takes him awhile to get settled into a home, so he needs a patient adopter.

Story
Deacon spent 6 years of his life in a shelter!! We had to give him a chance. When Deacon came out of the shelter he wasn't quite ready for the outside world. Luckily All The Way Canine Academy stepped up by taking him in to help him adjust to a life outside of the shelter. Deacon is ready to find his forever family and be given a real chance at a life he deserves. Deacon can be shy at first, understandably, but once he opens up he will happily give you butt wiggles and his paw asking for affection. Deacon is loving but doesn't need constant affection and can relax on his own. Deacon will easily relax in the home. He would do well with a crate as the crate is his safe place.

Story
Hi everyone, I’m Shelby! I’m a beautiful brindle boxer mix with the cutest underbite. My papers say I’m 5 years old, but I’m full of energy and spunk. I’m about 45 pounds and already spayed. I’m crate trained and working hard on house training. I get along with other dogs and love to run and play with them. I’ve also tested well with cats. I think I would love kids but my energy may be a bit much for small kids. I can also be a bit nippy when I’m excited/playing. I would reallllly love a fenced in yard to run in, I’m super duper fast! It should be a tall fence though because I’m very springy and can jump really high. Once I get my zoomies out, I love to cuddle up on the couch with my people. I’m working hard on my manners, like not jumping or counter surfing, but it’s a work in progress. I can’t wait to find an active/energetic family of my own. ##1774486##

Story
Hi my name is Esalda. I am about 12 weeks old. They say I am a boxer/terrier mix. Let me tell you all about myself. I am a gorgeous puppy that came up with my 7 brothers and sisters. I currently live with my sister Marisol. I also have a foster mom, dad, 11 year old sister, 2 furr foster brothers and a furr foster sister. I am working hard on potty training but I just don't have it down yet. I am really good in the crate though. After me and my sister play hard all day, I am pretty tired. My foster dad picks me up and puts me right in. I cuddle up with my sister and fall fast asleep. I don't make any noise until my foster mom wakes up. Then I am super excited, I can't help but make cute noises. She takes me outside right away so I don't have an accident in the house. Thank goodness because holding my pee all night is hard. But I don't want to sleep in my mess so I hold it. I love to just cuddle on my foster moms lap in the morning. I really love to play with everyone. There isn't a dog I have met that I don't want to play with. Don't I sound like the perfect addition to your family? I can't wait to meet you. ##1971872##

Story
Gypsy is located in TEXAS. There are not enough homes for all the unwanted dogs down there, so she is willing to relocate for a good, loving, forever home. Gypsy is a very good girl and is the most obedient dog I have ever seen. She knows how to sit and comes when called. She is housetrained and very well behaved in the house. She likes her crate and sleeps in it with the door open. She walks well on a leash and rides well in a vehicle. Gypsy loves her toys, especially squeaky ones, and she loves playing fetch. Gypsy is active - she loves to run and play with toys and other dogs. She loves water and lays in the wading pool when it is hot, and we bet she would love snow. She gets excited about squirrels, cats, and critters on the other side of the fence. Gypsy does well with all dogs but gets along best with male dogs. She is normally good around small dogs but occasionally mistakes one for a toy when she is over-excited. So she is not recommended for homes with small dogs. She is not too fond of puppies getting in her face either. Gypsy loves human attention and is good with children. She could perhaps use more obedience training with someone firm, patient, and loving. Gypsy is very sweet. She gets attached to her human and likes to lay under my desk when I work on the computer. Gypsy walks well on a leash and rides well in the car. She must be in the house as a loved family member, and she needs a yard with a 6' fence to run and play. Gypsy came from a bad home. She was not being fed and was severely underweight. So the people surrendered Gypsy and her puppies to animal control to avoid animal cruelty charges. Gypsys DNA test results are mostly Boxer, Husky, and German Shepherd. She bounces on her front legs when she is excited and we now know that comes from the Boxer in her. Gypsy is around 5 years of age and weighs 70 pounds (she only weighed 35 pounds when we got her). Gypsy is healthy. She is spayed, tattooed, fully vaccinated (DAPPvL2, Bordatella, rabies), and microchipped. Gypsy had a light case of heartworms when we first got her. We used the slow-kill method (we are happy to explain this) and she is now negative for heartworms and on monthly heartworm and flea prevention. Gypsy's adoption fee includes the cost of ground transport to the Pittsburgh area. She is located in Texas and cannot be transported until after she is adopted.
