Story
Hello, they call me Panda! I arrived here as a stray so there is not anything known about my past. I am a young guy who is looking for a dedicated family to help me learn to be the best boy I know I can be. I will need training, socialization, and all other basic puppy needs. The staff have found that I would do best in a home as the only pet. I would love to have all your attention to myself. If you think I may be the right pup for you, come meet me today!Few can resist a puppy. These adorable, soft bundles of energy are similar to four-legged children with tails. And like children, puppies need a lot of time, care, love, and patience. A puppy will depend on you for frequent and regular feedings and walks, for guidance and training, and for much of your time and your love. Before you plunge into puppy parenthood, make sure to research! There are many rewards to caring for a puppy, but there are also many requirements. Puppy classes are highly recommended for socialization and a positive transition into your home. Puppies love to learn how to be the best dog for your family! If this dog has been successful in our play groups it is not a guarantee that a dog will be social with other dogs in their home or in public settings. Dogs are individuals and have personality conflicts, just like us. Play groups do not guarantee that territorial or resource guarding issues will not surface in the home. While play groups do help us get to know the dog`s better, once they are adopted their new environments and new relationships will influence their behavior in ways we cannot predict. The Adoption Fee Includes:- initial canine distemper combination vaccination- first worming or stool check- rabies vaccination (for animals over 3 months of age)- 24 Petwatch microchipping- flea treatment/preventative- spaying or neuteringAdoption fee: $185.00Per state law, ALL ADOPTERS must purchase a non-refundable 2022 dog license at time of adoption for any canine three months and older. The cost of the license is $7.00. (Senior Citizen or Person with Disability-$5.00)All dog adoptions come with free leash and collar.

Please note that we are a TX based rescue that transports our dogs once they are adopted. ALL our dogs reside in foster homes in TX. Please fill out an adoption application at haydudeeqine.org Brownie - You are the bridge between what was and what will be, my pathway to a new life! I am on the prowl for my fur-ever home now since I was found abandoned at the neighborhood doggie park. I'm not sure what I did that was so bad to just leave me there cuz I'm really a very good girl. They think I'm around 2 years old and weigh in at about 30lbs. I am house trained, calm and obedient. I try my best not to make any extra work for my foster mommy. I absolutely adore kids, they are just the next best thing since milkbones in my book. I do very well with other pups too! My ideal home would have a nice big fenced backyard that comes already stocked with playful siblings (hopefully both the 2 and 4 legged variety) to chase around stealing...err sharing toys!!! At 30lbs I'm at that great size to accompany an active family on all their outdoor activities. I'd love to go with you on nature hikes or camping in the wilderness. I'd even make a great cheering section if any of 'our' kids are on a sports team! Both breeds of my hairytage are known to make great loyal family additions. I just need you to fill out my adoption application so I can be part of YOUR family!!

Please fill out an adoption application at haydudeequine.org Amazing Grace - You are the bridge between what was and what will be, my pathway to a new life! Grace has been dubbed Amazing Grace because well she's just truly amazing. This girl has got the sweetest and most docile temperament even with all that she has been through. She was abandoned out on the street by her homeless owner on a 14* day. Luckily for her she was saved from freezing to death. This girl has been through so so much in her short years and is still an Amazing Grace! Through many dangers, toils, and snares I have already come This grace that brought me safe thus far And grace will lead me home A home with lots of love, gentle words, comforting pets and a soft bed. Grace is a tad bit intimidated by a man towering over her. She will start shaking but will soon stop when she realizes nothing bad is going to happen to her. And even this she has not shown any aggression. Amazing! Grace loves going for walks and then laying in the yard, soaking up the sun, belly up! She is of moderate energy which just means she will still need some daily exercise but with that in, would do well in town, out in the country or anywhere in between but would absolutely love a yard (for that beloved sun bathing)!! At somewhere between 5 and 6 years and around 45lbs, she has a lot of living and loving yet to do and is at a great size to share your adventures! Whether it's a neighborhood stroll, nature hike or splashing at the river on a hot day, Grace is ready to have fun with you!! She hasn't been kid tested but with her sweet personality she would probably do fine with respectful children. This sweetheart is so deserving of a home...could it possibly be with YOU?!!

Please note that we are a TX based shelter that transports our dogs once they are adopted. All our dogs reside in foster homes in TX. Please fill out an adoption application at haydudeequine.org Hiya there! I’m Tito! Aren’t I a charmer? Just the happiest of doggos with a booty that wiggles all day! Always smiling! I’ve got a heart of gold and a personality for the books! I’m sweet, goofy, playful but not hyper! I get along great with other dogs! I’m housebroken, kennel trained and I know basic commands! I’m learning to walk on a leash and learning what toys are, as they are so new to me. I give the best kisses and hugs when you want them. I keep my kennel tidy and I love having blankets! I’m the easiest going little dude you could possibly meet! I would be good with kids and a family too! Anywhere I can call home and snuggle up in your lap is where I’d like to be! Tito is about 8 months old and is around 38lbs. He is kennel trained, potty trained, and knows basic commands. He is people, kid, and dog friendly. We are unsure about cats, but can cat test him if we need too. He is neutered, update to date on vaccines, and microchipped. He is currently on heartworm and flea preventative.

**WE ARE CURRENTLY DOING ADOPTIONS BY APPOINTMENT ONLY. YOU MUST CALL TO SCHEDULE AN APPOINTMENT IF YOU'RE INTERESTED IN ADOPTING. PLEASE LEAVE US A VOICEMAIL IF YOU ARE UNABLE TO REACH US. THANK YOU FOR YOUR PATIENCE AND UNDERSTANDING.- CCDP STAFF** Hi there. My name is Adrianne. I'm about 4 1/2 years old and I weigh about 60 lbs. My friend Fieara and I were surrendered to the pound in October 2021. Fieara found her family pretty quickly, but I am still searching for the right family to love. For whatever reason, I don't seem to like children when they walk through the kennel and at this time, the pound is looking to place me in a home where I won't live with children. I am a very fun, energetic dog. I LOVE to play! I am all about going for nice, long walks and getting to run around and play with toys in the play yards here at the pound. My best fun is had when I am playing in water!! I LOVE it! I don't care if it's a mud puddle, the hose, a creek, a pool, anything! Although I have a lot of play, I also love to cuddle and give kisses and I can be a super affectionate dog. Despite having lived with another dog, I would likely do best in a home where I can be the only pet. I rarely find another dog that I get along well with and I do not seem to like cats. I would be great for a family that would like a dog that is protective of their home. I was a house dog before coming in to the pound and I do appear to be housebroken. If you're looking for a sweet dog to add to your family, please consider adopting me. Our adoption fee is $152. We accept cash, check or credit/ debit cards for adoption fees. If you pay using a credit or debit card, a convenience fee of 2.39% will also be applied. If paying by check, you will need 2. One Check will be for the dog license, and one will be for your dog's adoption fee, which includes a parvo/distemper vaccine, rabies vaccine, bordetella vaccine, 3 days of panacur de-wormer, spay or neuter surgery, microchip, and a current Ohio dog license. We DO offer foster to adopt. (We will NOT accept cash for foster to adopt). We highly recommend you do a foster to adopt with your new dog if you are not 100% sure your new dog is going to work out in your home. Foster to adopt gives you a couple of weeks with the dog to make sure they are a good fit with your family before your payment is processed and the adoption is finalized. ALL DOGS/PUPPIES WILL BE SPAYED OR NEUTERED unless a health issue prohibits the surgery from being performed. Not all dogs posted for adoption are spayed/ neutered yet. If you're driving a long distance to adopt, please verify that the vetting process has been completed and dog you're interested in adopting is still available for adoption. The above mentioned vetting is all included in your adoption fee. The adoption fee and what is included in the adoption fee is NON-NEGOTIABLE. Adoptions MUST be done at the pound and in person as there is paperwork to fill out and an adoption contract that must be signed by the adopter. This means you must be willing to travel to our shelter to adopt. If the dog you're interested in adopting has medical conditions or injuries which require medical treatment, we ask that you help with the medical bills, in addition to their adoption fee if possible so we can continue to help the dogs coming in who need additional vet care. We are a county run shelter, therefore we cannot control our intake or the health or behavior of the dogs that come in to our shelter. Although we try our hardest to place all of our adoptable dogs, there are certain circumstances in which any dog in our care could be euthanized at any time and without further notice (IE: sudden untreatable medical condition or injury, temperament or behavioral problems which may not be apparent when the dog first arrives, etc.), therefore all dogs at our shelter should be considered urgent. We try our absolute hardest to never have to euthanize for space and have not had to do so for many years thanks to the ongoing support from the public and high adoption rates. Please remember; the adoption of a more highly adoptable dog will mean more time for the less adoptable dog in the kennel next to him! Shelter hours are Monday-Friday: 8 am- 4 pm. Saturday, Sunday and holidays: 8 am - 12 pm. Adoptions are always welcome any day of the week/ weekend and on holidays. We are here everyday to care for the dogs and the best way to make our day is to see our dogs go to loving families. There is nobody in the office on Saturday, Sunday or holidays, so therefore, we are unable to answer or return phone calls over the weekend. We are only staffed to take care of the dogs and do adoptions over the weekends/ on holidays. Can't adopt a dog? We would love to have more volunteers who are able to spend time with our dogs! The dogs LOVE going for walks and the socialization and exercise helps make the dogs more adoptable.
