Welcome Sewanee to PK! This 6-year-old Boxer weighs about 82 pounds and came to us from another rescue. Sewanee is a very friendly, well-mannered guy who seems ready to settle right into family life. He walks nicely on leash, knows his basic commands, and keeps his kennel clean, showing that he’s already got a great foundation of good manners. Sewanee is open to meeting other dogs, can be cat tested if needed, and would likely do very well in a home with kids. Story
Hi meet Sadie, she is a boxer mix and a great dog but can not be around other dogs or cats. She can be around children but I do not know if she can be around small children. She is somewhat housebroken, still needs training. She has received shot but needs to be up to date. She is spayed and chipped, I just do not have her chip information. I am not doing well health wise and I do live by myself. She also has some health issues with allergies and her ears are the most affected by the allergies. Right now Sadie has cauliflower ears due her scratching so hardon her own ears. I have been trying to maintaining her bathes and cleaning hers ears often but her ears are bad and needs medical attention. I have tried to take her to thevet but it is very costly for me and I cannot afford.She needs to be with someone that caresfor properly and tend to her health. She is a great dog and very affectionate. She is also very smart. I know with right person by her side she will be an even greater dog.

Hi! I’m Lily! I was found behind a church dumpster with my puppy, starving and barely surviving. My puppy got adopted but I’ve been in boarding since the summer! I’m now thriving in my foster home with my foster brothers! I love to play, nap, cuddle and run around the backyard. I’m a strong girl who wants a family of her own. We can only save them when space is available or have an adopter. Levi 18 months old 50lbs Levi is a chunky boy, he’s great with other dogs and was used to temperament test other dogs when he was in animal control, he’s medium energy and a little on the shy side as his works has been so small for a while, he’s looking for someone to share their adventures, heart and home with, he’s a great dog

We look forward to hearing from you. Clementine was returned to the rescue because her mom fell sick and passed away. She was the only dog at her house but wasn’t sure what to think about multiple dogs. At the time her foster mom had 2 puppies in a pen. Clementine felt safe with them and learned she was safe. The puppies showed her the way. Clementine learned how to go out the dog door and to play. From there she has grown in confidence.. she now likes to come up and ask for kisses and hugs. Clementine loves to play with the big dogs now but still not sure when you chase after her. She is your alarm system she likes to let you know someone is outside. She is not sure of strangers coming in but once she feels comfortable with them she comes up to see them and smell them… she is a sweet girl and would love to have her forever!
