Story
I’ve had Milo since he was puppy. I would hope that he goes to a family with lots of energy and a big backyard for him. He’s super silly and loves attention. He does great with female dogs but I’m not so sure about other males. He’s a good guard dog with barking at strangers outside the house but once they come in he’s a cuddle bug.

Story
Star came to us along with her litter of pups from an old man's house where she got very little attention much less food. He said she was a stray but was not able to care for her properly, thus a litter of unwanted pups! A pizza delivery guy alerted us to her plight and we came to help. She is very enthusiastic and active and loves to run! After she came to the rescue, she lived with Luke a 5 months old pup for a while and they loved to run and play. He has now been adopted. She is a great size- about 45 lbs and could be a great running partner. We think she could also be a great couch potato given some time. Her breed is a little unknown. She is small for a Boxer so we are thinking something smaller might be mixed in- maybe JR Terrier? We hope you will consider adding STAR to your family soon. She now walks on a leash and is learning some basic manners. If you would like to adopt this sweet furbaby, please complete our pre-qualification application at this link: https://bit.ly/2CCVFPV#AdoptDontShop #TBCAnimalRescue

Story
This cute little guy adopted us...just walked right in but was a little unsure of what to do. We opened a kennel and he was ready to relax. He loved the good food we offered and made himself at home. He is cute and a great size at about 38 lbs and very sweet. He wants to be somebody's best friend. We are unsure of his breed other than being a medium sized dog and a beautiful golden color with darker markings. He learned the leash in one day and is ready to learn more at your house. He lives with a larger female named Momo amd they love to play. He loves to go and walks on a leash eagerly! If you would like to adopt this sweet furbaby, please complete our pre-qualification application at this link: https://bit.ly/2CCVFPV#AdoptDontShop #TBCAnimalRescue

Story
Pretty little Teeter, this girl is waiting for a family. Here is her story. A mama dog was pulled off the streets and safely delivered 9 puppies in foster care. They’ve been loved and cared for since birth… but then the original foster’s landlord found out, and the puppies had to be moved immediately. Dallas Dog - Rescue.Rehab.Reform brought them into the fold and they have been separated into smaller groups for fostering. They are: 🐾 Medium‑breed pups 🐾 Social, playful, and used to being together 🐾 At a critical age where consistency matters We are beginning to accept adoption applications so we can place them in stable homes as soon as they’re ready. Pairs are ideal, but single‑pup adopters committed to proper socialization are welcome too. If you’ve been thinking about adopting, now is the moment to step in for one of these babies. www.dallasdog.org

Story
Hi hoomans, it’s me, Sommer, your resident 6‑pound cuddle bug and part‑time chaos intern. Big news: I went outside for the very first time this week. Wow. So many smells. So many things to explore. So much room to run and play with the resident dogs. I am thoroughly intrigued by this thing called a hose and the wet stuff that comes out of it. Reminds me of my first week here with all of my spa days. Uncle Max has been teaching me how to watch squirrels like a serious dog. I stand next to him and stare at the fence, but honestly…I have no idea what we’re waiting for. He seems very passionate about it, though, so I pretend I understand. I’m feeling better, getting braver, but still like being held so I can shove my whole face into your neck like a baby koala. Foster life is pretty great. Love, Sommer 🐶✨ Sommer’s first few days here were a little “ruff” — poor girl had some tummy troubles and mostly wanted to snooze. But now that she’s feeling better, her puppy personality is bursting through. She’s playing with toys (Lamb Chop is the reigning favorite), wrestling with her brother Kayce, and treating foster mom’s walking boot like her own personal jungle gym. She loves being held, burying her face in your neck, and has become surprisingly accustomed to her frequent “spa days” thanks to those tummy issues. 😆 She loves when the big resident dogs come over to say hello, she gets up and runs over to give kisses 🥰 This little girl is a beauty and her name is Sommer. Story
Meet Calliope! Calliope is a 7 week old female Pit Bull mix who is ready to begin the search for her forever family. Calliope came to Rockwall Adoption Center after being surrendered along with her littermates from an accidental litter. The puppies were fortunate to be raised by their mother and safely weaned before coming into our care. While their family cared about them, they realized they were unable to properly provide for so many dogs and made the difficult decision to seek help finding the puppies loving homes. Now healthy, thriving, and full of potential, Calliope is ready to start the next chapter of her life with a family to call her own. As a young puppy, Calliope is looking for a home that can provide the love, attention, training, socialization, and guidance she needs while growing into a happy, well mannered adult dog. Puppies require time, patience, and commitment, but the reward is a lifetime of companionship and unconditional love. Calliope is available for pre adoption beginning 06/10/26 and will be ready to go home on 06/15/26. Her adoption fee is $125 and includes her spay surgery, microchip, rabies vaccination, first set of puppy boosters, and first dewormer. Please note that Calliope is required to return to Rockwall Adoption Center on Wednesday, 07/15/26, for her spay surgery and rabies vaccination. This appointment is non negotiable and required in accordance with Texas state law. An approved adoption application is required prior to meet and greets, pre adoption, and adoption. To apply, please visit: https://rockwalladoptions.com/adoptfoster/adoption-application/ If you are looking for a sweet puppy with a bright future ahead of her, Calliope may be the perfect addition to your family.  All animals, unless otherwise noted in their description, are at 1825 Airport Rd. in Rockwall, TX. Story
Meet Titus Titus is an approximately 2-year-old male Pit Bull mix weighing 62 lbs who is ready to show the world just how big his personality truly is. Found near the pickleball courts at Harry Myers Park on 03/10/26 and never reclaimed, Titus had a rough start- but you would never guess that now. When Titus first arrived, he was shy and shut down, likely from the frightening experience of being abandoned. But once he felt safe, his true personality came bursting through- and it's impossible to miss. Titus has transformed into a fun-loving, goofy, playful boy who keeps everyone around him smiling. He loves to engage, enjoys playtime, and has a lighthearted, happy spirit that makes him such a joy to be around. Titus does well with other dogs and has really come into his own socially, showing off his playful side more and more each day. A meet and greet is recommended for any home with existing pets to ensure the best fit. He's the kind of dog who will make you laugh, keep life interesting, and then happily settle in for companionship when the day winds down. His journey from shut down to shining is truly something special- and now he just needs a home to continue that story. Titus is neutered, microchipped, current on his rabies vaccination and basic boosters, and is heartworm negative. His adoption fee is $125. He is currently being fostered by a foster family until adopted and does require an approved online adoption application in order for meet and greets to be scheduled as well as to be adopted. If you're looking for a dog with personality, resilience, and a whole lot of love to give, Titus may be the perfect match.
