Hi! My name is Bandit and I am a 2-year old happy Boxer mix who loves to play and cuddle. I really enjoy chew toys and love to play games of tug of war and fetching balls. Car rides are so much fun too. I also love to snuggle up with my person and will follow my person everywhere. I know how to sit and stay but I am a little stubborn when I am asked to come when my person calls me. My person needs to rehome me because I am told I am just too much for my person to handle at her age and need someone who can spend more time with me and train me to be the best dog I can be. I am really smart but need socialization training and although I love to go on walks, I am very strong-willed and need a firm hand and discipline training while taking walks. I love kids and get along well with larger dogs but do not get along well with small dogs, cats or any small animals so I may do best as an only dog or as a single brother to another dog my size.

Star came to us along with her litter of pups from an old man's house where she got very little attention much less food. He said she was a stray but was not able to care for her properly, thus a litter of unwanted pups! A pizza delivery guy alerted us to her plight and we came to help. She is very enthusiastic and active and loves to run! After she came to the rescue, she lived with Luke a 5 months old pup for a while and they loved to run and play. He has now been adopted. She is a great size- about 45 lbs and could be a great running partner. We think she could also be a great couch potato given some time. Her breed is a little unknown. She is small for a Boxer so we are thinking something smaller might be mixed in- maybe JR Terrier? We hope you will consider adding STAR to your family soon. I'm a sweet, well-mannered guy who walks nicely on a leash, knows my basic commands, and genuinely enjoys being around people. This is Sophie “ the sniffer”. Her and her siblings were dumped on the side of the road in a rural area to fend for themselves. You would never know that she had a rough little start to life, because she is all love! She loves exploring and always has her nose to the ground, she is the biggest cuddle bug of the group. Active energy when all four on the ground, but as soon as you pick her up, she turns to mush and just wants to be loved on. She is very jumpy at times, like most puppies, so we would prefer kids to be a little older I think household. She would make a great addition to anyways family.
