Story
Buster is an approximately 3-year-old Boxer/Bulldog mix weighing 51 pounds who is ready to find his forever home! He came to Rockwall Adoption Center in hopes of finding a family of his own, and this fun-loving guy is ready to make a splash. Literally. Buster loves to swim! Buster is a friendly, outgoing boy who enjoys going for walks, spending time with his people, and taking every opportunity he can to enjoy the water. He has done well with other dogs, although his play style can be rowdy and energetic. If you have another dog in the home, a meet and greet is recommended to make sure their personalities and play styles are a good match. Buster's adoption fee is $125. He is neutered, microchipped, and current on his basic annual vaccinations. Buster did test heartworm positive, but thanks to the generous donor, his heartworm treatment is sponsored. If you're looking for a fun, affectionate companion who is always ready for his next adventure or his next swim. Buster may be your guy! Logan – Boxer Mix Logan is a handsome male Boxer mix with a sweet heart and a lot of love to give. Born July 8, 2020, Logan weighs approximately 72 pounds and has been part of his current family since he was adopted from a dog rescue in Georgia in 2020. Logan is housebroken, crate trained, well mannered, and good with dogs and children. Logan has never lived with cats, but he has calmly ignored cats he has encountered at the vet and does not chase small animals on walks. His family feels he may do well with a cat with slow, supervised introductions. Logan is neutered, microchipped, current on his rabies and DHPPC vaccinations, heartworm negative, and current on heartworm prevention. His current family loves him and wants the very best for him, but they no longer have the time or space to give Logan the home life he deserves. He currently spends much of his time alone, and their hope is to find him a family who can make him a bigger part of their everyday life. Logan is described as a great dog who deserves a great family. He is ready for a fresh start with someone who can give him the love, attention, and companionship he deserves. Logan is 5 years old and has been with our family since we adopted him at 3 mother’s old. Story
Meet Shasta, a beautiful 2-year-old, 67-pound Bulldog and Boxer mix with a full-size body and a miniature lap dog personality! Her true breed is approximately 90% professional shadow, 10% couch potato. - low energy, she's perfectly happy lounging around her people with little bursts of zoomies or throwing around her toys. - potty trained - crate trained - dog friendly - professional shadow - if you move, Shasta moves. If you sit, Shasta would like to know why you didn't invite her. She just wants to be wherever her person is. - cats - no cats for this girl. She has submitted a formal request for a CAT-FREE HOME! She is sweet, friendly, easygoing, and seems happiest simply being near her people. If you've been looking for a dog who doesn't need to run a marathon every morning but would happily supervise everything you do day-to-day, Shasta may be your girl. Shasta spent a long time in the shelter, where she became thin, stopped feeling well and eventually shut down. She watched many people pass her by before Dallas DogRRR stepped in and gave her the chance she deserved. Shasta was a little slow to open up, but patience revealed a sweet, affectionate girl who wants nothing more than to feel safe and loved. Once she trusts you, her gentle personality shines through, and she may even try to convince you that all 67 pounds of her belong in your lap! Shasta is ready for a patient, loving family who will accept all of her and give her the time she needs to settle in. In return, they will receive a loyal companion with an enormous heart and plenty of love to share. Truly a special gal!

Story
I will pay the 150..00 for neuteredMy name is Jayson, and I'm looking for a loving forever home for my Boxer, Elias. This is one of the hardest decisions I've ever had to make, but due to moving to a place that doesn't allow dogs, along with some personal circumstances, I have no choice.Elias is almost 3 years old and has been with me since he was born here in Dallas. He is full of life, very loving, and has a fun, energetic personality. He is a little hyper, so he would do best with someone who has the time and space to play with him and give him the attention he deserves. He is great with kids. My girlfriend has an 8-year-old and a 9-year-old, and Elias plays with them very well. He's friendly, playful, and loves being around people.More than anything, I want to make sure Elias goes to a home where he will be loved, cared for, and treated like family. If you or someone you know can give him a safe and loving home, please reach out to me. I only want what's best for I know a

Story
Ruby Monday is a total love bug who was unfortunately dumped at a high-kill shelter when her previous family moved without her. She lives with many other dogs in her foster home and gets along well with everyone, except when someone gets into an altercation. She thinks she is supposed to end all spats, so we never leave her with the other dogs unattended. For this reason, she would do better in a home as an only furkid or with an experienced owner.Ruby loves humans of all sizes and ages. She is a cuddlebug who loves to go for car rides and walks. It is hard to believe she's a senior with her energy and happy, outgoing nature. It would be wonderful for any senior who wants a dog to spend retirement with them, and still give anyone who might want to cause trouble a reason to think twice because of her size and bark. She is fully vetted, current with her vaccines, spayed, microchipped, and on flea and tick, as well as heartworm, prevention. Ruby is available for permanent foster care if you live within a reasonable distance of our veterinary clinic. If you are hoping for a companion but are on a limited budget and feel you can not afford to take care of a dog, we would love to help you give Ruby a wonderful forever home.

Story
Meet Pebbles Pebbles is a one-year-old sweetheart (as of February 2026) weighing in at about 40 lbs, and she’s the perfect mix of playful energy and loving affection. Like most young dogs, Pebbles is full of life—she loves attention, enjoys playtime, and is always eager to be by your side. She gets along great with other dogs and would likely thrive in a home with a canine companion. She hasn’t been around children or cats just yet, but we’re happy to arrange a cat test if needed to help find her perfect match. Pebbles is incredibly loving and eager to please, which makes her a wonderful candidate for continued training and bonding with her future family. Her housetraining is currently unknown since she’s staying in a boarding facility, but with consistency and a routine, she’s expected to catch on quickly. She is already spayed, up to date on all vaccinations, and heartworm negative—ready to head home with you! If you’re looking for a fun, affectionate companion to grow with your family, Pebbles might just be your girl. Interested in meeting Pebbles? Story
Meet Titus – The Total Package: Smart, Loyal, Athletic, and Ready to Be Your Best Friend Some dogs are great hiking buddies. Others are expert snugglers. Some are incredibly trainable. Titus is all of those things wrapped into one amazing dog. At just 2 years old and 62 pounds , Titus has the perfect balance of energy and affection. He's equally happy joining you for a morning walk, afternoon adventure, road trip, or picnic as he is spending the evening curled up beside you under a cozy blanket for movie night. After spending several months in a city shelter after being found as a stray, Titus never lost his joyful spirit. Thanks to foster care, he's had the opportunity to show everyone what an incredible companion he truly is—and now he's ready to find the forever family he's been waiting for. A Dog Who Loves to Learn One of the first things you'll notice about Titus is just how intelligent he is. He genuinely enjoys training and loves having a job to do. He already knows sit , down , stay , and responds beautifully to commands to go to his crate or bed . Every week his recall becomes stronger, and he can now maintain a hold/stay position even with distractions around him. Perhaps even more impressive is Titus' exceptional impulse control. Around food, he patiently waits for permission and understands boundaries remarkably well. While he absolutely loves earning treats during training—especially apple slices —what makes him truly special is that the lessons stick. Even without treats, Titus continues to respond reliably because he understands what's being asked of him and genuinely wants to please his people. His foster family believes he has enormous potential to continue learning and would thrive with anyone who enjoys working with a smart, eager dog. He's the kind of dog who makes training fun because he loves learning and loves making his people proud. Everyone Is a Friend Titus has never met a stranger. People are simply friends he hasn't greeted yet. His tail starts wagging almost immediately, and his happy personality shines wherever he goes. He gets along wonderfully with other dogs, lives peacefully with cats, and does well with children. One of the things his foster family loves most is how naturally he adjusts his energy to the people and animals around him. He knows when it's time to play, when to settle down, and when someone just needs a gentle companion nearby. Adventure Partner by Day... Whether it's a neighborhood walk, a morning jog, a hike, a road trip, playing in the backyard, or simply exploring somewhere new, Titus is always ready to go. He's moderately active and enjoys being included in whatever his family is doing. His favorite adventures aren't about where he goes—they're about who he's with. ...Professional Cuddle Expert by Night When the day comes to an end, Titus happily trades adventure for relaxation. He loves curling up beside his people, sleeping nearby, and getting tucked under a cozy blanket like a little burrito. He's wonderfully affectionate without being demanding and simply enjoys being close to the people he loves. Whether you're working from home, watching television, reading a book, or relaxing after a long day, Titus is happiest just sharing the moment with you. His Secret Weakness? Apples. Titus has discovered that apples are one of life's greatest joys. During his recent photo shoot, he quickly figured out that every cute pose and perfectly followed command earned him another apple slice. Before long, he was happily showing off his biggest smiles and model-worthy poses in exchange for his favorite snack. Need his attention? Chances are an apple slice will do the trick! Why Titus Is So Special Dogs like Titus don't come along every day. He's affectionate without being needy. Confident without being pushy. Playful without being overwhelming. Smart without being stubborn. Well-mannered without losing his fun-loving personality. He's the kind of dog who wants to be involved in your life—whether that's joining you on adventures, learning something new, greeting visitors with a wagging tail, or simply lying beside you after a long day. After waiting patiently for his second chance, Titus is ready to become someone's loyal companion, best friend, and favorite family member. Titus at a Glance 2 years old 62 pounds Excellent recall that continues to improve every day Can maintain a stay/hold position even with distractions Outstanding impulse control and manners around food Knows sit, down, stay, crate, and bed commands Highly trainable and eager to learn Responds reliably even without treats Good with dogs Good with cats Good with children Friendly with new people Moderately active Loves walks, adventures, and car rides Professional cuddle buddy Apple enthusiast Neutered Microchipped Heartworm negative Current on rabies and vaccinations Handsome black-and-white coat Adoption Fee: $275 If you think Titus might be the missing piece of your family, we'd love for you to meet him! Please complete an adoption application at www.legacyhumanesociety.org. Once your application is received, his foster family will be in touch. Titus has already proven that he's resilient, loving, incredibly smart, and eager to give his whole heart. Now all he needs is a family that's ready to love him back. Could that be you? We do not have a facility to house the dogs in our program. They are all kept in foster homes until they are adopted.
