Frankie is a lovable Boxer with a big heart and a gentle personality. He’s a very sweet dog who enjoys being close to his people and soaking up as much affection as he can. One of his favorite things in the world is getting hugs and enjoying plenty of butt scratches. Frankie has great house manners and is crate trained, but he also loves curling up in bed for snuggles whenever he gets the chance. Frankie does very well with small dogs and enjoys their company. Larger dogs aren’t really his preference, and cats are not a good fit for him. With the right environment, though, he is a wonderful and easygoing companion. He is not aggressive at all and simply wants a calm, loving home where he can feel safe and cared for. Frankie’s sweet nature and affectionate personality make him a joy to be around. Hutch is a shy boy that takes a minute to trust and to warm up to strangers. As you can see from his photos, once he has a minute, he is just a lover! He gets along great with other dogs, is house, crate and leash trained. All Dallas Dog adoptable pets are spayed or neutered, microchipped, and up to date on vaccines upon finalizing adoption. Puppies adopted under the age of five months require a spay/neuter contract, and all dogs are required to be spayed by six months unless otherwise medically noted. Our dogs are currently on heartworm preventative. Puppies receive 3 to 4 rounds of vaccinations depending on their age, and adults receive two rounds unless they've been with us longer than a year, in which case they receive the booster update. Cleo is an older dog but full of energy. She’s a cuddle buddy, good with people and kids, and she is a good dog that always loves to sit next to you while you’re watching tv or just sitting by the couch. We originally adopted her from an animal foundation years ago but we took her in and she fit right into our home even with being adopted as an older dog. Sadly, my wife and I’s work schedule are becoming too busy for us to have a dog. She is potty trained but she is used to having a backyard to go out to and going to find a family that has that.

Meet our foster Good Boy! He is a 3 year old pit bull mix that was found abandoned in Dallas. He has been in our care for over a year. He was previously adopted but returned due to owner relocating. Good boy has gone through some basic obedience training. He loves people kids and gets along well with our family dogs. I recommend older children as he is 57 lbs and can still have some puppy energy. Good Boy loves going for walks and laying on the couch with his people. He is looking for his forever family. If you are looking to give a great dog a second chance please consider Good Boy. Good Boy is HW positive but started treatment.

I adopted my dog Joy when she was around 1 year old and have had her since. She is now about 9 years old. I lost my job recently and am having financial problems, which are making it difficult to provide for the dog. I will be moving soon and will be unable to take her with me, so I am looking for a new happy home for my dog. She is not trained, but she is a sweet dog. Joy is microchipped and spayed/neutered, and she has had most of her vaccines. Does well with other people and pets, but needs a bit of time to get to know them and get comfortable.
