Story
Hi everyone! My name is Tucker and I’m a brindle beauty. I’m looking for my furever family, so if you’re looking for an active family dog, keep reading! I’m almost a year old and my energy level shows it! Do you like to go hikes and swim in lakes?? Or even daily walks and an intense game of fetch—I’m your boy! As long as there’s toys, I’m happy. If there’s water—I’m even happier! Take a look at my DNA results too, no wonder I’m so cute! I’m good with other dogs, they’re fun to play with…I haven’t met any cats, but that can be arranged. Kids are great too—just remember I’m #60 of energy and I might accidentally knock the littles ones down. Otherwise I’m ready to go to my new home, I’m neutered, fully vaccinated, potty trained and kennel trained. All I’m waiting for is a family and a couch to cuddle up on!! Apply for me today!! Adoption fee:$250 https://www.cognitoforms.com/TinyPawsSmallDogRescue1/AdoptionApplication

Story
Peppermint Patty is a 2 year old mixed breed who couldn’t possibly be sweeter. She came to Wisconsin in December filled to the brim with puppies & gave birth to eight perfect Peanuts in her foster home in January. After some much-needed relaxation & rest from being the best mama, she is ready to find her family! She’s about 40lb, is crate trained, & is doing very well with potty training when kept on a schedule. Peppermint is very food-motivated & eager to please, so continued training should be a breeze. She gets along great with other dogs & kids. Cats are unknown, but it’s assumed she’ll do just fine.Get your application in to learn more about her!DATCP#483538

Story
Delilah May is an adorable, six month old, Boxer puppy mix. She is about 40 lbs and all legs! She has big Boxer energy and loves to play fetch, go on walks, and is a great running partner (She's been clocked at an 8 minute mile!). She is a quick learner and will thrive in a home dedicated to helping her continue her training with positive reinforcement and plenty of exercise. She would love a larger doggie sibling or weekly daycare/play dates to keep her from getting bored. Delilah is very much a puppy and could accidentally knock over young children and smaller dogs with her playfulness. Children over 10 years old preferred. Delilah is house trained and crate trained. She is spayed, microchipped, and up to date on vaccines and preventatives. If you would like to meet this adorable bundle of joy and make her part of your family, please complete an application at https://forrescue.net/dog-application/ Delilah is located in Huntsville, AL. With transport available to your area. Friends of Rescue requires a virtual home visit and vet reference prior to all adoptions. All Friends of Rescue animals are indoor family members.

Story
Denali is truly a good dog. He LOVES to cuddle up and watch TV. He is a super super sweet dog with lots of love to give. Hes house trained, crate trained, doesnt bark hardly at all, well mannered when greeting guests, good loose in the house, and easy to train. He knows sit, wait, down, paw, crate, and Go to your room which basically means go to the room his bed is in, which is usually the bedroom. Denali isnt a very high energy dog, and would do best with a backyard and some Frisbee or fetch. Hes very good at fetch! After a good game of fetch or frisbee, hes ready to cuddle up and relax! Denali does not get along with other dogs in the house. He needs to be an only dog. They get into disagreements often which has resulted in one of them being crated way too much. When he has had a disagreement with another dog he has never drawn blood or bit through skin. Denali loves his people but would do best with older children due to his dog selectiveness. Sweet Susie has LOADS of energy and gets along well with everyone she meets! She loves playing catch and is currently working on her manners. She sometimes gets a serious case of the zoomies and can play a little rough, but she's crate trained, great with other dogs and kids, and loads of fun! Apply to meet our little meatball today! If interested in a pet from us please fill out the adoption application that is located on our website.  We process applications in the order in which they are received.  We will likely not respond to interest emails regarding puppies and/or kittens, we get so many "interest" emails that we simply do not have the time to respond to each one.  We always recommend crate training, positive reinforcement training, exercise, playtime, and a regular schedule for potty breaks when bringing a new dog/puppy into your home. Adjustment takes time for both you and your new family member, so remember to be patient and enjoy this new and exciting time!Included in the adoption fee are age appropriate vaccinations, heartworm testing, deworming, spay or neuter surgery, and microchip. ##1981410##

Story
· Intake Reason: surrendered, not getting along with other dogKnown with:· Cats: unknown· Dogs: lived with 2 yr old Husky and 2 yr old Rottweiler, both neutered males. Only dog to have issue with in home is Husky. Has attended dog park and doggy day care.· Kids: exposed to various ages and did well.· Personality: Very playful and loves tennis balls and fetch. Tends to pull on the leash a bit and is very personable. Knows: sitHello, my name is Rufus and I am a debonair gentleman who is currently in the market for a new home. I lived with a family almost my whole life and things were lovely. I do well with most other dogs and had fun playing at the dog park and with the neighborhood dogs and also got to romp at doggy daycare. When a Rottweiler and a Husky came to live with me, the Rottie was a compatible roommate but the Husky was a bit high-strung for my taste. To keep peace in the home, my people decided that I should come to WCHS to find a new family. I am a sweet and charming lad with loads of love to give so I am confident that I will find a loving home with a consistent leader. Although I am comfortable in a crate, in my previous home I was so respectful of my human's things I was able to roam around freely when I was alone. At night I had the luxury of sleeping in my person's bed and that was lovely; we could snuggle all night long. I had learned to sit by the door and whine to ask to go outside so I could potty. When I get into my new home it would be wise to give me plenty of opportunities to use the outdoor facilities until we learn each other's signals and routines. I am an active boy (some even say hyper) who thrives on physical and mental exercise. I also have a quiet and affectionate side; do you think 70 pounds is too big to hang out on your lap? I am a smart lad and already know the cues for ‘sit' and ‘down'; maybe we could take some classes together so I could learn more human words. I like to keep my brain busy so I like learning and playing challenging games like ‘find-it' or nose work. Foraging mats and brain teaser toys that utilize my nose are tons of fun. I certainly hope you stop by so we can meet in person and you will agree that I am delightful and endearing.#1
