From talking to past owners, they said she was a great dog, but due to their life style change they were unable to keep her. She had been around other dogs and kids in the homes. Hi! I`m Morrie, a 4 year old terrier mix. I`m crate, house, and potty trained. I sleep well all night and love couch and nap time. I`m an amazing hugger and I love to be close to my humans. My breed is known to be lovable, loyal, and have limited personal space (I believe your lap always has room for me!). I don`t destroy anything in the house, don`t dig holes, and love balls and stuffies. My favorite is benebones and a big squeaker toy. I`m such a good girl with people and have accepted lots of people in my foster home. I really like chasing bunnies and squirrels, so I think cats or other small pets would be risky. Though my foster family thinks I`m an extra-special, pretty easy, amazing, and nearly perfect pup, I really need to find my forever family so they can keep helping more rescued pups. Arriving in WI on January 9th! Tot is an adorable 3 month old female puppy. We anticipate her to be medium size when fully grown. She has a beautiful golden and white coat. Tot was found, along with her mom and littermates, living underneath a trailer at a solar farm in rural Texas. Local rescuers built up mom's trust by feeding regularly, and thankfully were able to trap mom and crawl under the trailer to rescue the babies. Tot, her littermates and her mom are now well fed, warm, and healthy while living at their rescuer's home. Tot loves people and plays well with other dogs. She is working hard on her potty training skills, but her forever family should be prepared to do more training while she learns the routine in her new home. She is up to date on vaccines, dewormed and microchipped, and she comes with her medical records and interstate health certificate from a veterinary examination prior to leaving Texas, which certifies her to be in good condition. She will be arriving in Muskego, WI on Friday, January 9th, and will be available to meet, and take home if she is a good fit, by the first family to have placed an exclusive hold deposit as set out below. Her adoption fee is $500, which will be used to support the many animals in our care whose medical bills far surpass their much lower adoption fee. We use those funds to support our program of readying additional dogs, puppies and kittens which we transport and adopt out in the northern United States. Our goal is to get as many homeless animals out of south eastern Texas, where we have a severe pet overpopulation crisis. She is available for an exclusive hold with a deposit of $250, which we give on a first come, first served, basis. The balance of the adoption fee is due upon meeting/finalizing the adoption on Friday January 9th. If upon meeting, she is not a good fit for your family, the deposit is refundable. We ask that you are serious about your intent to adopt before placing a deposit, so as not to prevent her from finding her forever family in the meantime, as we only accept one deposit per dog. If placing a deposit is not the right fit for your family, we invite you to our adoption event at our office in Muskego on Sunday January 11th, where you can meet all of our available pups, no deposit necessary.
