Eleanor came to HHR as a stray from a rough neighborhood known for being a dumping ground for unwanted cats. We attempted to find an owner but she was never reclaimed. Eleanor gets along fine with other cats and would be a perfect first time/family kitty. Eleanor is about a 2-3 years old. She is spayed, vaccinated, microchipped, and FIV/FeLV negative. Meet Holly Hobby Holly Hobby is a stunning dilute calico beauty with mesmerizing golden eyes and a quiet grace that will melt your heart. Holly loves to be petted and will look at you with those eyes so that you can't help but oblige! Petting her is very satisfying because she stretches her body into your hand to get the most out of your offered pets. Holly is a gentle girl who thrives in a nurturing environment. 🐾 Rumi was born July 27, 2025, she is an affectionate and active little girl with a curious, playful personality. She enjoys attention, loves to explore. Once she gets comfortable, she’s very sweet and cuddly. She is litter trained, eats well, and has been raised indoors. This is "Chester". He is about 2 years and 2 months old. A few months ago we got a call from someone on Chestnut Avenue in Waterbury (hence the name "Chester") who was feeding Chester for a while and then Chester got sick from another cat. We took Chester in then and he was very very sick. He was so sick he could not breath, he was very congested, he was drooling a lot and he was not eating. He was just skin and bones! Chester is now completely different from what he was. He did a 100% turnaround! It took us about a month to help make him feel better. He is a healthy cat now and no more skin and bones! Chester gets along with other cats. As for dogs, he could probably live with a calm small dog. In Chester's new home, children must be 6 years old or older. Chester got neutered, he got his shots and he tested negative for feline leukemia/aids. To adopt from us, you MUST have a veterinarian reference in your own name. We will not place any animal without a veterinarian reference. We get a veterinarian reference from your veterinarian which is a history of medical care administered by your veterinarian to your present or previous pet or pets. Here is our litter of 4 kittens that are ready to find their forever homes. Meet "Dilly" and "Dally" (the twins), "Storm" and little "Teensie". Dilly and Teensie are females.
