Eleanor came to HHR as a stray from a rough neighborhood known for being a dumping ground for unwanted cats. We attempted to find an owner but she was never reclaimed. Eleanor gets along fine with other cats and would be a perfect first time/family kitty. Eleanor is about a 2-3 years old. She is spayed, vaccinated, microchipped, and FIV/FeLV negative. Taylor was rescued in Bridgeport alongside her siblings — Jeremiah, Conrad, and Isabel — and she has been blossoming in her foster home. Taylor is a playful and curious little girl who loves to chase toys and wrestle with her kitty friends. She absolutely adores other cats and would be happiest in a home with a feline companion to help boost her confidence. Betty is as resilient as she is sweet, surviving outside as they did. And, Betty was never one to turn down solving a mystery, so let's help her solve the mystery of finding her forever family. She'll follow the clues right to her new home, so let's help her out and fill out an application! Miley was born June 7, 2020. She’s such a sweet, calm girlie. She can be playful, but she’s a bit serious most of the time. I’m looking for a loving forever home for Miley. Somewhere clean, with a family that will show affection, but also give her the space a princess like her needs.

Philomenia loves humans and will shower you with affection. She loves to wind in and out of your legs..  Philomenia also enjoys having a human companion to watch her eat (it's a perfect meal mate date, but you have to cover the bill).  She loves to play with toys and will sit beside you for a short time—just make sure not to rub her flanks. I rescued this cat about a year ago now. She had a litter of kittens as well and I’m looking to rehome her along with one of her kittens that I kept. Very friendly cat loves getting pet and very cuddly cat. Her baby is basically a mini version of her liking the same things. Her baby is around 8 months now and the mom is around 1-2 years

This is "Chester". He is about 2 years and 1 month old. A few months ago we got a call from someone on Chestnut Avenue in Waterbury (hence the name "Chester") who was feeding Chester for a while and then Chester got sick from another cat. We took Chester in then and he was very very sick. He was so sick he could not breath, he was very congested, he was drooling a lot and he was not eating. He was just skin and bones! Chester is now completely different from what he was. He did a 100% turnaround! It took us about a month to help make him feel better. He is a healthy cat now and no more skin and bones! Chester gets along with other cats. As for dogs, he could probably live with a calm small dog. In Chester's new home, children must be 6 years old or older. Chester got neutered, he got his shots and he tested negative for feline leukemia/aids. To adopt from us, you MUST have a veterinarian reference in your own name. We will not place any animal without a veterinarian reference. We get a veterinarian reference from your veterinarian which is a history of medical care administered by your veterinarian to your present or previous pet or pets.
